Elora came running over, panting.

"I came as soon as I could! Sparx said it was an emergency."

Spyro and Ember sat in the grass.

"Nah, it's no emergency - just Ember's friend is missing."

"He's your friend too... whether you like it or not!"

Spyro sighed and rolled his eyes.

"Anyway, we'd like some help looking for an orange dragon named Flame - have you seen him?"

Elora shook her head.

"Sorry, Spyro, haven't seen him."

*thinking* This'll be harder than I had imagined.

Chapter 12 1/2 (other half)

-five hours later-

"So... what now?"

Cynder shrugged.

"No clue..."

Ember sighed.

"We've got to find Flame!"

"We're trying, cry-baby, hang in there!"

Ember snorted.

"I'm no cry baby. You're the one who was all kissy-kissy over Spyro!"

"Me!?! YOU'RE the one who stole my necklace because of being in love with him!"

"I DID NOT STEAL THAT NECKLACE!!!!!!"

"Girls! we won't get anywhere with you two fighting!"

Ember and Cynder both snorted and looked away.

Spyro rolled his eyes.

Hunter, Sergeant Byrd, Elora, Ember, Moneybags, and Spyro all sat in the grass.

"Ok, so what do we know?"

"Flame's missing for some reason."

"So what's the problem?"

"Yeah, Flame always seemed a little whiny to me."

"It doesn't matter! The point is someone needs help and we've got to help him!"

"Hmm... I may help you if you pay me..."

"This isn't about money, bear!"

Moneybags grunted and looked away.

"Well I would ask Bianca for help, but she's working on something else right now."

"Ok, well then what do we do?"

The entire group shrugged.

Spyro sighed and rolled his eyes.

Chapter 14 (second-to-last chapter)

Spyro, Cynder, and Ember sat in Spyro's cave.

"Spyro... you've got to help me find Flame!"

"I'm trying! He's not easy to find!"

"You guys, we don't have time to argue!"

"Says you..."

Cynder growled.

"You little..."

Spyro rolled his eyes.

Bianca sat, throwing ingredients into a cauldron.

"Only two more minutes and Ember's mystery will be solved."

She waited and suddenly the cauldron began to bubble. She looked in and saw something that made her gasp.

"This can't be! It makes no sense!"

She breathed out in amazment.

"I've got to go tell Ember right away!"

Bianca ran and found Ember, Spyro, and Cynder in Spyro's cave.

"Bianca! Did you solve the mystery?"

"Oh I solved the mystery all right."

"So... who was it?"

Bianca shook, only able to say one word.

"Flame..."

Flame? Then how did Cynder hear rackets?

"You can't be serious - how could Flame steel the necklace?"

"I dunno... but he did."

"Well... maybe he... um..."

"Face it, Ember, Flame is the real thief."

"I still don't believe it."

"I guess the only way we'll know is if we find him and ask him."

"Yeah... I guess."

At that moment, Elora and Hunter burst through the cave.

"You'll never guess what we just found!"

"I'm not in the mood for guessing games right now... just tell me."

"Foot prints into the Sunken Ruins... Flame's footprints!"

*thinking* Sunken Ruins? Why on earth would he go there?

"We better go find him, then."

"C'mon."

Spyro, Cynder, and Ember all left the cave.

The three dragons were now in the Coastal Remains.

"I haven't been here since Red took over!"

"Who's red?"

"That's not important right now."

Cynder sighed and nodded.


OOC: The fanfic should be finished by tomorrow!

Lawl... Spyro should tell Cynder about his life. Like all the enemys he defeated.

Spyro, Cynder, and Ember found the Sunken Ruins.

"Um, Spyro? I don't really wanna go in!"

"Too bad! You're going in whether you like it or not!"

"Will you two stop arguing and come on!"

Spyro sighed and leaped into the hole to the Sunken Ruins. Sure enough, inside Flame was hiding behind a giant rock.

"Flame! There you are!"

Flame sighed.

"Hi Ember."

Cynder looked at Flame and gasped - her necklace was on HIS neck!

"You are the thief!"

Flame sighed again.

"Ok, you got me. I stole the necklace to make Ember's job of stealing it easier. I was so clumsy that you heard me when I stole it! Then, Ember got close to cracking the case so I ran and hid."

"You... you stole it for me?"

"Yeah, you were all jealous of Cynder so I hoped it would make it better if I stole it for you."

"Why?"

"The truth is... I'm in love with Ember."

, , & "WHAT?!?"

"Now you know."

"Why didn't you just tell me? It would've saved me a bunch of trouble."

"I just... you loved Spyro so much that I was embarassed."

"I don't mind being your girlfriend!"

"Really?"

Ember nodded and kissed Flame on the cheek!

"You guys, this is all great but we should probably get outta here!"

All four dragons left the Sunken Ruins.

Ember and Flame sat next to Cynder and Spyro at Dragonfly Falls.

Ember kissed Flame on the cheek.

"I couldn't agree more."

Flame kissed Ember back.

"You said it!"

"We should do this more often!"

"Yeah, this is fun!"

"I'm happy everything worked out."

"Yeah... hey! You're wearing that necklace I got you!"

"Do you like it?"

& "It looks beautiful!"

"Ahem!"

"Oh... sorry. You look beautiful to, Ember!"

Ember and Flame kissed and then Spyro and Cynder kissed.

Coming from an author.... Chapters need to to be longer. Less dialogue and more describing where, when, what and how it all came to be. But overall....good.
