This is a fanfic about Cynder, Spyro, Flame, Ember and all the other characters. The setting is the AHT world and the plot is... well I don't wanna give it away.

I'll start with the first chapter and see what comments I get.


Chapter 1

Spyro and Cynder walked through the Dragon Kingdom. The warm, summer breeze blew over the swaying, green grass. A few yards away, hidden in the tall grass, Ember stood with her teeth gritted.

"I should be the one with Spyro! That black she-monster doesn't deserve him!"

Ember watched with annoyance in her eyes. She pawed the ground and growled. Suddenly, Spyro and Cynder padded over to Ember.

"Hey Ember, what're you doing?"

"Oh! I didn't see you there!"

"You look pretty upset... is something wrong?"

Ember lied. "Oh no, everything's fine."

"Well ok then, I guess we should get going."

"Yeah, see you around."

Cynder and Spyro left and Ember growled.

"I've got to find a way for Spyro to like me..." Ember thought for a little bit then said, "Flame! He'll know what to do!"

Chapter 2

Ember paced back and fourth in the grass. Flame sat staring at her.

"Spyro doesn't know who's he's dealing with!"

"So what are we supposed to do about it?"

"Well I heard Spyro telling Cynder he was going to take her to Dragonfly Falls today."

"So what?"

"Just listen closely..."

The waterfall crashed down into a glistening pool as Ember and Flame sat on a small island in the water.

"Spyro should come any minute now; just do exactly as I said."

"I'm not sure this will work."

"Trust me, this plan is fool-proof!"

Cynder and Spyro walked by. Cynder looked around the Falls.

"This place is beautiful!"

"I thought you'd like it."

Ember saw Spyro and Cynder.

"Flame! Now's our chance!"

Flame began acting.

"Um, I have to go now. Bye Ember."

Flame hugged Ember.

Ember smiled slyly.

"Bye, Flame, I love you."

Spyro's head immediately turned.

"Oh, you two are dating?"

"What? No, I-"

"Congratulations!"

Cynder and Spyro padded away.

"So, um, did the jealousy plan work?"

Ember roared.

"What do you think!?!"

"Ok, I'm sorry."

"We'll just have to try a little harder to get Spyro's attention."

*thinking* "How do I get myself in these kind of messes?"

bwavo! more!

OOC: I'm still thinking of what'll happen next. I should have more by tonight.

hooray! (if my mom dosn't find out i've been on the internet all day) i found a way to get past the time block. it's so funny!

Yeah, my mom's been too busy to realize I've been on the internet all day.

no, she knew that i went on the internet at, i think, 1:00. if she sees me online right now, she'll be thinking O.O
the timer is set for only 3 hours.

Chapter 3

Flame and Ember sat in Ember's cave. Sergeant Byrd was with them.

"Ok, Sergeant Byrd, we'll need your help with this."

"That depends on what you want my help with..."

"She's obsessed with Spyro."

Ember growled at Flame.

"This is the deal: I'll go to Moneybag's Shop and buy you some new missiles, if you spy on Spyro."

"Why should I spy on Spyro?"

"Tell me if you see something I can use to make him fall in love with me."

"Like what?"

"I dunno, just something that would make him fall in love with me!"

"Like a love amulet?"

"No!"

Flame rolled his eyes.

"Why don't you just find a different dragon to fall in love with? You know, someone without a girlfriend?"

"You are not helping!"

"As much as I'm going to regret this, I'll help you..."

"Yes! You should start immediately."

Sergeant Byrd nodded and flew out of the cave.

"Now we just have to wait and see if that penguin finds anything."

"I still don't even know what he's supposed to be looking for."

Ember growled and rolled her eyes.

*thinking* "Why do I get stuck with a sidekick like him?"

lol. never thought he would actully help...

Yeah, but Ember can be very persuasive.

OOC: Wow, I have just about a billion different ideas! I'm already on my FOURTH CHAPTER!

Chapter 4

Sergeant Byrd had been spying on Spyro and Cynder for what felt like hours (even though it was only about twenty minutes).

"I hope Ember doesn't feel to bad."

"What do you mean? She seemed fine."

"Well she seems kinda... I dunno... jealous."

"I'm sure she'll get over it."

"Yeah, I guess you're right."

There was silence for a few moments, then Spyro pulled something from behind his back.

"Hey Cynder? I've been meaning to give you this."

Spyro gave Cynder a black-pearl necklace with a heart-shaped ruby on it.

"Oh Spyro, it's beautiful!"

Sergeant Byrd, from above, looks at the necklace.

*thinking* "I bet Ember could use that..."

Ember and Flame were still waiting in the cave.

"I'm starting to think Sergeant Byrd ditched us."

"No, I'm sure he just has to take his time."

Suddenly, Sergeant Byrd flew into the cave.

"See? I told you he wouldn't ditch us! Ha!"

Flame rolled his eyes.

"I saw something that may be of use to you..."

Cynder lay sleeping in her cave. Suddenly there was a loud racket and she opened her eyes.

"Hello? Who's there?"

Cynder knew there must have been a thief and she immediately began looking through all her valuable items.

Cynder gasped.

"My necklace! Someone stole my necklace!"

poor cynder.

Yeah, I feel sorry for her.

OOC: The story continues!!! Also, this is the first time Sparx has been in the story. He talks like he does in AHT.

Chapter 5

Cynder flew out of her cave and over to Spyro's. She ran in.

Spyro yawned

"Cynder? What in the world are you doing here?"

Sparx, who was sitting next to Spyro, nodded.

"Someone broke into my cave! They stole that necklace you gave me!"

Spyro's eyes immediately widened.

"What?"

"We should go back to my cave and see if we can find any clues."

"Good idea,"

Cynder and Spyro looked around when Cynder suddenly found a clue.

"Spyro! Look at these!"

Spyro bounded over and saw footprints.

"We've got to find out where they came from..."

"How about we follow them?"

"Good plan."

Cynder, Spyro, and Sparx followed the foot prints. They stopped at another cave.

"This is Ember's cave!"

"I knew Ember was jealous but this is ridiculous!"

"We've got to go see if she really did it."

Spyro, Cynder, and Sparx walked into the cave and saw Ember asleep. Spyro saw there was a lump under her pillow. He put his claw in and dug around a bit. He pulled out Cynder's necklace.

*snores loudly*

"So she was the thief!"

Ember suddenly awoke. She saw Spyro holding the necklace.

"You stole my necklace you little thief!"

"I didn't do it! I swear!"

Anyway, Chapter 6

Spyro and Cynder stared accusingly at Ember.

"I swear! I didn't do it!"

"Yeah right,"

OOC: I need to get off, I'll finish chapter later.

I posted the comment before the topic was moved.

OOC: Oh, yeah I was kinda confused.

Chapter 6 (continued)

"Face it, Ember, all the signs lead to you!"

"But I didn't do it! You've got to believe me!"

"I kinda believe her -- I mean, why would Ember steal a necklace?"

"I dunno, but I know she did it!"

"I swear I didn't! I have no clue how that necklace got here!"

"Than you've got to find who did."

"That seems fair enough -- if you didn't take it than you must find who did."

Ember yawned.

"Fine, but I need to sleep first."

Spyro sighed.

"Fine, you have to find the thief tomorrow."

"Ok, g'night Spyro."

Ember turned over and began snoaring immediately. Cynder took the necklace and put it on. Spyro and Cynder flew out of the cave, Sparx following behind them.

"Do you really think Ember stole your necklace?"

"I'm honestly not sure; only time will tell."

Ember oaced around the room with Flame sitting and watching; they were in Flame's cave.

"I can't believe they accused ME of stealing that stupid necklace!"

"Um, didn't you?"

"Well I was going to, but I didn't!"

"Then who did?"

"That's the problem, they expect me to find the real theif!"

"Maybe you can ask for some help? I mean, Sergeant Byrd helped you, right?"

Ember grinned.

"Oh, Flame, you a genius!"

It was two hours later. Flame sat in Ember's cave as Ember told Bianca the whole story.

"So you stole a necklace from Cynder?"

Ember practically turned red with annoyance.

"I DID NOT STEAL IT!!!"

"It's an easy mistake to make, you know. I mean, you are all into Spyro."

Ember growled.

"You're a sorceress, right? I mean, couldn't you just use a spell to find out who stole it?"

"I'm not really a sorceress -- I'm still learning. But I might be able to... it may take a few weeks."

"A few weeks!?!"

"I can only work so fast."

Ember growled and rolled her eyes.

*thinking* Why, why do I have to work with Ember?

i want to name the green thing, um, Kasi.
yes, it will be a girl.

Ok, Kasi will be in the next chapter.

Chapter 7 (with a special appearance by Kasi)

Spyro decided to see if Ember had any clue to who stole the necklace. He flew over to Ember's cave. Ember was inside, talking with Flame.

"So Bianca needs a whole week to finish that spell?"

"Yes,"

"I think we should probably find a way to be productive during the time we wait."

"Like what?"

"You know, like maybe we could search around for the thief our selves."

Spyro walked in.

"Hey Ember, hey Flame -- I see you're helping Ember."

"Yeah, I thought she'd need a little help."

Spyro nodded.

"Ok, I just came to see how you guys are doing with the case?"

"Well Bianca's helping, and we're about to look for clues."

Spyro nodded.

"Sounds like a plan."

"Well we've got to get going now, we're about to search for clues."

Spyro nodded again.

"Ok, I guess I should let you get back to it then. Bye!"

Spyro flew out of the cave and into the sky.

"So, how are we going to search for clues?"

"I dunno, we could go back to Dragonfly Falls? That's where this whole mess started."

"Ok, we'll try that."

Ember was looking for clues underwater as a strange, green, llama creature watched her in the bushes.

"You know, I don't think anyone will actually find anything under the waterfall."

Ember slipped on a rock and dove head-first into the water.

The creature with the green fur and long, llama neck laughed.

:kasi: "Ha-ha! You fell in the water!"

Kasi bounded away.

Flame helped Ember back out of the water.

"Maybe we should try a different approach at finding clues..."

"You think?!?"


OOC: Kasi is that green creature on Pinkdesi101's avi and it made a special appearance on request.

Yeah, I wasn't sure if the thing had fure or not -- my computer graphics aren't too great.

Ember and Flame now sat at the entrance to Crocadilla Swamp.

"So- So we need to go in there?"

"Yes,"

"Um, why?"

"Well almost every crime commited comes from Crocodilla Swamp. I bet you the theif will be in here."

"How do you know?"

"I just know, ok? Now c'mon,"

"But, but there are crocodiles in there- crocodiles that eat dragons like us!"

"C'mon, we've got no time to lose."

With a sigh, Flame followed Ember into Crocodilla Swamp.

OOC: The other half of the chapter will come tonight.

"C'mon, slow-poke, what're you waiting for?"

"Sorry, I just don't wanna be killed by natives!"

Ember and Flame finally reached the end of the tunnel and saw the swamp. Flame covered his eyes with his wings and shook.

"Hatchling,"

"Hey! I'm not a Hatchling!"

"You are too."

"Am not!"

Ember and Flame didn't have any time to argue, a giant plant came out of the ground and shot at them.

"Whoa! I almost got killed!"

"Good for you, can we leave now?"

"No! We've got to find that theif, remember?"

Flame sighed. The two continued down the path until they came to five crocodiles. They ran at the dragons with bone clubs.

"AHHHH!!!!"

"Run for our lives!"

Ember and Flame ran out of the swamp faster than you could say "crocodile".

"Mission not accomplished."

Flame couldn't help but laugh.
