Does anyone feel bad using cheat codes? Like, it's kinda unfair to the companies and makes it too easy.

Sometimes. I usually put them in after I beat the game.

They themselves coded the cheats in there.

However, I feel angry for those people who use CWCheat or any kind of cheats in online games. >(

I only use cheats in tLoS games, after I've beaten the game. Other than that, I've never used a cheat in a game. Glitches and little tricks, sure. But never official cheat codes and such.

All cheats are official put in there by developers, but hacks I hate people who do that, especially in online games

I don't think it's immoral, one should use any advantage he has, but i don't use them cuz the game isn't fun anymore

i only use cheats in games ive compleated them (eg. i did all 3 main quest lines in oblivion and then i started to use the cheats) plus certant cheats are there for people to experiment with and blablabla im pointing out the obvios and to arnser the question no i dont think its immoral, hacking is immoral

i'm alright with cheats.

I put the cheates on in DOTD after i completed it. For online games it is stupid, but i wish i new the pink star code...

I only use cheats after the game for the laughs, or if I'm really stuck.

The programmers actually built the codes into the game to make it easier for the testers so that while they're testing the game they can't die, lose mana, etc. So using cheats isn't bad.

The only cheats on Spyro I use are the ones that make him change colours on YotD.

Cheats are fine, don't worry about using them, like bionicle said it doesn't matter.

I cheat all the time... but when I played ANB, I suddenly reilized that using the cheats was makign nthe game seem quite boring, so I turned them off, then I couldn't resist putting the health cheat on when I came to the Stone Sentinal boss. The size of it was so offputting...

Nope. Some people have a hard time with certain kinds of games or are at a disadvantage from the start (*raises hand*). I don't play games for the "challenge" of playing them, just for the story, and some games I can't play at all without cheats no matter how hard I try.

I only use cheats when i beat the game completely. Like in some racing games i have, some people use cheats that give them an advantage online. But i beat them without cheats which is a bit funny especially that they try to act better than you on the heatset.

I used to be like that, I'd always look for "auto aim" cheats and such. But, once I found none for certain games, I just tried my best and survived through them. Now, it's so easy for me to aim that I'll be getting headshot after headshot. All it takes is practice. So, practice playing through games w/o cheats, once you know you can make it through relying on nothing but your own skills, it makes the games that much more thrilling. Being able to beat super crazy hard mode on my games using no cheats, walkthroughs, help, etc always gives me a successful feeling of satisfaction.

I only use the colour change cheats. I would use unlimited health and mana on DoTD but for some reason my 360 copy of it won't cheat for me.

Nope. xD If it wasn't for my cheats, I'd only have a level 4 Starly on Pokemon Diamond. x3 Anway, I'm rubbish at completeing games.

Do you know why?

It makes the game a bit boring.. but they did put it in there on pourpose in the first place...

That and I try to only use them when I'm almost bored with the game.. and only then if I can keep my self from doing it.

The cheats were embedded for the testers

I used them in emergency and at the end of the game. If i don't need it then i don't. I also used them when I'm bored with the game.

That's all well and good for some, but not everyone has that option. It doesn't matter how much I practice, I have no depth perception and first person shooters, for instance, are games I literally cannot play without cheats, regardless of how badly I'd like to play (case in point: the Metroid Prime games).

Some games are just too annoying to play without cheats, too. I haven't played ANB sans cheats since I found out they existed. The game is a lot more fun that way (especially since the gameplay isn't why I'm playing it and is, ultimately, just an inconvenience).

The moral effect when cheating is diffrent for everyone, some will hate it and some will like it....me?....I cheat AFTER completeing the game or during parts I can't do with the skills I have IE. stealing the jetpack from the militery base in GTA san andreass (spelling?)...I could never do stealth missions well

If I were playing against an actual person, I'd probably care. But a console is just a box and, thus far, it doesn't display any human relateable emotions, so I don't care.

I only use codes for fun and not for an unfair advantage.
