It was never officially announced that they would release a movie, all info comes from unoffical sources. Though there is sufficient eviedence to say that it was in production at one point, whether or not it will ever be released is unknown.

Fail, so just because the movie didn't come out in december, the movie which isn't made by Sierra/Activision or with much help from them, the movie that is indipenant, you suddenly don't trust the whole franchise... Fail.
