Chapter 4

Toby stood face to face with the most vicious dragon he had ever seen. Cike had a magical crystal that made him practically invincible. "Toby!" Fireball exclaimed. Jerking away from his thoughts, Toby saw Cike rearing back a mighty paw. "Ragh!" Toby leaped out of the way. Swirling around, Cike jumped into the air and pointed his tail straight at Toby. He thought of being impaled by that huge spike... Then he leaped again, landing next to Fireball. "This is gonna take a while," he said. Fireball nodded. "You're tellin' me!" Jumping away, Cike landed right where the two friends were just seconds ago. Blowing a spray of water from his mouth, Toby stunned Cike for a moment, using that to his advantage. He leaped onto Cike's head, which was almost as big as Toby's body, and gouged his eyes out with his back claws. "Whoa, Toby!" Fireball exclaimed. Surely that crystal couldn't put eyeballs back in his head? Apparently not. Cike yelled in agony. Shaking his head from side to side, he yelled, "Freakin' crystal! Why won't it fix my eyes?!" Toby laughed. "It won't, apparently!" "You little shi-!" Cike said. "Ragh! I can't see!" he began to panic. Toby suddenly felt bad. This dragon was acting against his will. But there was no un-possessing him. Was there? It was too late now. "Erm, Toby..." Toby's eyes grew wide. The crystal had worked. Cike's eyes were back. And blazing with the intensity of a thousand desert suns. "Crap..." Toby muttered. Spreading his wings, he and Fireball took off, Cike hot on their heels. Would this ever end?

sorry if my posts are slow, i'm running a virus scan and it's making my computer super slow.

my mom did it because when i got onto the internet, it said there were viruses.my mom didn't run that scan, because IT WAS FROM OUR OLD VIRUS SCANNER! lol. i thought, what the heck! we don't use that anymore. probebly wanted us to click yes so we would have to pay them, but we arn't that gullable! or, at least, my mom isn't. i was clueless weather i should've clicked ok or not. i didn't know then that it was from our old one. >.>

Chapter 4 - Continued

Flying quickly, Toby thought, There's no escaping this beast! Cike snapped at his tail, but Toby lashed it out, cutting Cike's nose. He growled, but the scratch, of course, grew back. Fireball barrel rolled as Cike shot a multi-colored fireball from his mouth. It exploded, and gave birth to a rainbow of various colors ranging from pink to blue, to green to black. "Yikes!" Toby exclaimed. He too barrel rolled. Maybe if I did something to his wings... Toby thought. He flew upwards and behind Cike. Fireball quickly glanced back, casting a questioning look. Dashing up to Cike's left wing, Toby stretched out his paws, and beat down on Cike's black and purple wings. He snarled in pain. Catching on to Toby's plan, Fireball, quick as lightning, did the same, and Cike spiraled to the ground like an airplane with no engine. "Nice," Fireball commented. "Quick thinker." "Thanks," Toby said as they flew on. The two friends flew for miles. The sun had set, and the moon cast an eerie light throughout an unfamiliar land. "We should land. Get some rest." Fireball said, stretching his jaws wide in a yawn. "I agree." Toby said. They landed on a mountaintop, and found a cozy little cave to rest in. "G'night, Fireball," Toby said sleepily. "Back at ya," Fireball replied, curling up in a tight red ball. Resting his head on his paws, Toby pondered on how to defeat Jay-Doque. And Cike. After Cike was out of the way, then he could move on to Jay-Doque. That'll work... Toby muttered, sliding into a deep sleep.
He jolted awake in a dark, forbidden forest. "What the-?" he muttered. "I've been waiting, young one," a voice rasped. Toby swirled around. "Who are you?!" he exclaimed, frightened. "Jay-Doque," the voice echoed. "Where are you?" Toby said. "Everywhere." Jay-Doque replied. "Wha-?" Toby felt a cold breath behind him. He spun around. Nothing. What kind of twisted place was this?! He was suddenly bowled over. "Ragh! Get off!" he struggled to escape. "There is no escape," Jay-Doque's rancid breath steamed in his face. "Just so you know, there is no defeating me. You try, you die." Then, Toby jolted awake, next to Fireball, who was deep in sleep. Breathing heavily, Toby thought, Now I know it. There's no way.

Chapter 5 Man, I haven't typed in a while.

"So, she came to you in a dream?" Fireball asked. Toby nodded. "Yeah."
"Hm." Fireball looked like he was thinking really hard. "Then I dunno what to say." he said. Toby was disappointed. He knew there was no way to defeat Jay-Doque. "Well, better to try and have failed than to never have tried at all. I won't let Jay-Doque continue with this." Toby rose to his paws, puffed his chest out, and shouted, "I will kill you Jay! If it's the last thing I do!" Something told him it would be the last thing he done, but he didn't care. He was going to try. Like he had said before, he might be the one of a million to defeat this evil dragoness. "Yeah, I can see that happenin'." Fireball remarked. Toby glared at him. "Yeah, real supportive," he muttered. Fireball shrugged. "Well, I can't. Some of the most powerful dragons in history tried and failed. If they weren't killed they were caged up." Toby looked at his friend. "Well, too bad if it happens to me. But I've said it before and I'll say it again. I have a pretty decent feeling that I can overcome her." Fireball simply shook his head. "Well, I'm getting tired of sitting here. Come, hunt with me. Get your mind off of it for a while." Toby shrugged. There wasn't anything else to do. As the two walked through the unfamiliar forest, Toby felt as if he were being watched. He could tell Fireball did too. It was probably Cike, watching intently from the shadows. As they progressed through the woods, the feeling grew worse, and Toby said, "I feel watched." Fireball nodded. "Me too." The words barely had time to escape his mouth when Cike lashed out from the shadows. "Well that figures!" Toby said, preparing to battle the big black dragon yet again.
