Why flame it could be a viable excuse? One that Is.nt explained in the game but could be more feasable reason. Also the developers just wanted to make it that for the first coop game they both felt equally powerful instead of having the weak little one element female compared to big strong and powerful Spyro, I dunno it still fits the game though i'm not complaining about extra elements

I understand why you would want two co-op characters to be equaly powerful, but couldn't you use some other ability to do that instead of giving he rthe same amount of elements.

They should have used different attacks.

Spyro = Meleeing like in ANB/TEN, Fire-Electricty-Ice-Earth.
Cynder = Shadow (or Shadow-fire), different abilities of melee. (the bite, the heavy melee, exc)

So cynder would be more of a melee trained fighter with a single element like venom while Spyro is elemental? That would work

Hey, remember in TEN when Spyro turned BLACK? Who's to say Cynder was not black originally? Her egg looked either gray or lilac. Not black.

Spyro was in hs dark form, Cynder can't be in a dark form because we have seen her in her )two) dark forms.

I agree. The dark forms are boring, why not some kind of shadow that schreechs?

I think cynder was a black dragoness from hatching, and Spyros dark form is a little weak yeah. and it makes such a small appearance! It was I big thing that he was exposed to darkness in ten so why not ro much in dotd? I bet the next one has something to do with Spyro fighting to rid himself of the evil

I hate the DoTD Cynder.

The only Cynder I don't like is DotD Cynder. They should really correct her, if she's going to appear in the next game.

I prefer my recreation of Cynder.

im not a cynder fan. personally, ember had a waaayyy cuter look and personality.

I think Cynder is: DOTD-Just OK, TEN- Good, but if she reatins form which is something between DOTD/ANB, and will be good with ANB personality, I think she will be badass (Tough not as badass as Urahara of course...)

Yeah all we know is that Cynder says she loves Spyro. But we don't know if Spyro loves her back or if he even heard her say 'I love you' before he used his power to save the world.

Cynder had a sudden change in attitude in DotD, and EL didn't even bother to make her completely black. This, and the rushed storyline in DotD shows evidence that they were rushing to have the game completed by October 2008, but made many unnecessary plotholes in the process to make the game epic.

No I have no clue, it's certainly not somebody who is portrayed as perfect in every way, somebody who can overcome any obstacle without hindrance. But I think the whole "Mary Sue" thing is just another excuse to say they don't like somebody, because if that's the case then Lara Croft is a Mary Sue and Bayonetta. They are all the same thing. A Mary sue is a dragon that has no flaws and has had a tragic past. Loads of characters look like Cynder or have a tragic past. Its getting boring with the same characters with a tragic past over and over again.

i see lots of fan draggies that have either cynder's posture, cynder's wing shape, her tail blade, her wing blades, her coulours, her underbelly patern, her horns and others. it really bugs me sometimes.

I think it's actually Activision's fault, for changing developers and rushing the game.

Its ok to have ideas from Cynder, but not the same. Theres no reason for them to bug me really though. They don't annoy me, its just I would not wanna read a story about their dragon.

*eye roll* theres nothing wrong with making up a story that dont have to have the same old chars that are over and done with for some people.
