Three years later after spyro and cynder saved the world from the DEADLY ( yeah right ! ) Malafor a new child was born the parents were thats right you guessed it SPYRO and CYNDER !!! they named their new born child layla. they were so happy that they had given birth to a girl
that they decided to invite all of their friends over to see the beautiful baby dragon. But everyone was shocked when they saw the baby becuase they saw that she was gold !! but not only was she gold but she had a pink belly !!!! After everyone left and spyro and cynder put baby layla to sleep they disussed some issues. spyro announced "Cynder what happens if layla turns out to be as bad as malafor ?" "dont worry im sure if we saved the world then im sure our daughter wont turn out to be evil ! " cynder replied *sigh*"i guess your right cynder we will just have to trust that our daughter will be just as good as we were"spyro said. " yeah i guess we will just have to trust her not to turn evil and see what happens in the future" cynder said wearily. " come on lets get some sleep honey" spyro replied and they fell asleep.

"come on dad lets go! " said layla "im going as fast as i can dear !" laughed spyro as they chased each other around and around in circles in the cyrstal clear sky with a few clouds dotted here and there. spyro glanced over to see cynder relaxing on a grassy flower bed down beneath them. underneath a big oak tree. Spyro smiled down at cynder and she smiled back. Then as soon as Spyro had looked back to see what layla was doing layla was gone ! Spyro searched franticly all over the sky but he couldnt find layla anywhere! then out of the blue layla jumped out of a white fluffy cloud and pounced on Spyro and nearly gave him a heart attack ! ( but he didnt die !) "AHHHHRRGGHHHH" roared Spyro as he got a massive fright ! "dad whats wrong ?" grinned layla. "whoa nothing dear just a little bit tired gonna take a break ! " Spyro panted as he flew down to rest. next to Cynder. " had fun ?" said Cynder as she tried to hold back her laughter. " hey dont you start !" growled spyro but calming down a little. "okayyy i think somebody's had a enough play for one day" said cynder "awwwww mummm !!! "groaned layla cynder narrowed her eyes and huffed "layla listen to your mother shes knows whats best !!" "ok" squeaked layla. and they flew back to the temple having no idea that malafor's brother was behind them and had been listening to every word they had said !!!
" muah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha HA !" said malafors brother
pooki . " finally i am going to DEFEAT Spyro and cynder and when i say DEFEAT i mean DEFEAT!!!" pooki's servant was a bat called Tiny and he said " uhh Pooki how exacly are we going to DEFEAT Spyro and Cynder ?""im THINKING of a plan you idiot !!!" Pooki roared * shocked face* "ok" squeaked tiny and with that he flew to his hole and hid. ............
Meanwhile at the temple layla was just about to learn what elements she could master. " oooooooo im super super excited mummy !!! " said layla. cynder smiled " im sure you are sweety" "lets just hope you dont turn out to be like Malafor" she mumred underneath her breath. as they walked into the temple cynder got to the door and stopped "here we are layla now im gonna leave now so just walk through the gates and find volteer ok?" ok mum! said Layla excitedly and with that Cynder left. layla ran through the front gates and found volteer. "ooo there you are layla now it is time to begin!!!" squawked volteer. "ok now i want you to just clear your mind " said volteer think of nothing at all but elictrictey zooming through your mind and out of your mouth ok?" cynder nooded. she closed her eyes cleared her mind and suddenly felt botls of electrictey zooming through her body she opened her mouth and expected to see bolts of thunder come out of her mouth but instead nothing but a sizzle came out. " o yes well sometimes it dosent always work on the first day my dear it normally takes a few days how about you come back tomrow ?" o yes ok volteer" said cynder with a deep look of dissipointment on her face. and with that she walked out of the temple and started back to her nest where spyro and cynder would be waiting.
"mum mum mum dad dad dad !!! wake up wake up ! " cynder and Spyro groaned and rolled over in their nest. "what is it honey?" "dont you remember its my second day in training to see what elements i can master !!!!!!" said layla bouncing up and down. " o yeah thats right" said spyro rubbing sleep out of his eyes. " Spyro can you take layla to the temple im gonna sleep for a little longer" said Cynder sleepily. "yeah ok sure" replied spyro. " well what are we waiting for COME ON COME ON COME ON !!!!! " squaked cynder. "okay okay!" said spyro laughing as he got pulled out of the nest and to the temple. when they arrived spyro left layla at the door said goodluck pick you up in an hour and walked back home. cynder bounded through the gates and saw volteer waiting. " hello my child are you ready to try again to see if you can master electricity?" "yes yes yes !!!" said layla excitedly. "ok do exacly what you did yesterday and when you are ready try and hit that monkey dummy ok?" "yes ok!"said layla. she did exacly what she did the day before and cleared her mind felt sparks go through her body,opened her mouth and roared but instead of electricty and thunder coming out of her mouth confexiti came out instead!!!!! she opened her eyes and jumped backwards. " ahhhhhhhhrhhhh" volteer dodged out of the way as a spark of confexiti came his way and missed him by an inch. "w-w-what was that!?" asked layla speechless. "OH MY WORD." was all Volteer could say. "i must alert the guardians at once !!!! " "w-w-why did i breath confexiti instead of electricity???!!!" "i have no clue but you must go back home and the guardians will call you once we have figured out why." "o-ok" said layla still speechless ans with that she flew home and couldnt wait to tell Spyro and cynder what had happened. but nobody seemed to notice that tiny was hanging upside down on the temple roof in a small crack and saw and heard everything that has just happened!! ...
Tiny flew through a hole in pooki's evil lair and sqawked " POOKI,POOKI I HAVE SOMETHING IMPORTANT TO TELL YOU!!!" pooki was just resting on his hammock in the air when he heard tiny. " ARRRRRGHHH!!" pooki yelled in shock as he fell face foward to the ground. tiny looked guilty and slowly creeped back getting ready to esape when pooki roared " STUPIED BAT!!! YOU KNOW WHEN AND WHEN NOT TO WAKE ME !!" tiny answered by saying " yes boss but its something about the girl!!!" "o yes well heh heh go on spit it out then !!!" roared pooki. " o-ok well then yes boss" " well i was hiding in that hole in the temple roof for ages and i thought about giving up when the girl and volteer bounded into the room" ! said tiny. "yes yes carry on said pooki getting impatient. " well she had come back to try and see if she could master electricty and when she opened her mouth CONFEXXITI CAME OUT INSTEAD !!!!!" yelled tiny. " great job tiny!!! i think i may have a plan after all yelled pooki in happiness" "ok heres the plan we will leave it a week before we will proceed because we will need to plan it out very wisly but here goes " said pooki. " on a day next week when all is silent and everyone is fast asleep we will sneek into the temple tiny you will get out a sack and when i give the signal you will grab the girl and throw her into the sack!!! then we will sneakily take her back to my lair and keep her hostage untill SPYRO and urrgh CYNDER will oviosly come to her rescue !!! so then we will make a army of dragons who will be on out side to FIGHT them !!! " but i will also be fighting them too!" " and then we will DESTROY them once and for all and i will finally follow my brother's footsteps and this time i will not fail !!!" ......
A cool breeze swept across the temple and over into Spyro,Cynder and laylas nest was where they were all cuddled up together sound asleep. the firery orange sun rose up and lifted itself up over the cloudless sky. the sun shone in through the window which where they were sleeping when layla woke up because the sun was shining in her eyes. She woke up and yawned. then she streched and wandered over to the door she pushed it open with her claws and wandered outside. she watched the sun rise. But then she heard a voice whispering " layla" she didnt hear the voice the first time she was so tuned into staring at the day. But then the voice whipered again but a little louder" layla-layla...LAYLA!" layla darted her head around but she couldnt see anyone so then she looked back at the sky. Then cyril the ice dragon tapped her on she shoulder. "WHOA!!" layla cried as she got a fright. "layla it is time for you to see if you can master ice" said cyril. "b-b-but i thought i have confexiti"said layla confused. "yes you do but some dragons can master more than one breath"said Cyril softly trying not to wake Spyro and Cynder. "wow really ! ?" said layla excited. "Yes but it only happens every 15 dragon years"explained Cyril. "So come on then lets go to the training room" and with that they walked to the training room. up in the sky tiny just happened to be flying around and saw Cyril and Layla and dived down and followed them into the training room with a grin on his little batty face ...
"Alright lets begin" said Cyril when they had walked into the training room."ok just relax and take a deep breath and clear your mind from everything going around you"said Cyril Layla cleared her mind and thought
of nothing but freezing cold ice pounding through her body she imangined the whole world freezing she imangined lakes and ponds turning to ice she imangined rooftops including the temples with icicles hanging down on the gutter just waiting to drop she imangined snow falling from the sky and with that she opened her mouth once again and breathed but before she got the chance to do it she heard a cry and dragons screaming. She paused and opened her eyes with a puzzled expression on her face she glanced at Cyril who was just as confused as she was "come on wed better check that out we will continue your training later" And with that they ran out of the temple. Layla pricked her ears up and said "oh no that sounds like all that noise is coming from mum and dad's nest!!!!!!" layla cried and they ran to where spyro and cynder were. They pushed open the doors to their her home and saw dragons running around everywhere panicing. " what is going on here ?!"boomed Cyril galncing around the room and saw spyro and cynder trapped in a ring of fire including some other dragons and one of them happened to be Layla's best friend crystal who was crying and was jumping around like a lunatic. "OMG" said Layla "i have to do something!!" Cyril said "well whatever you do HURRY!" and with that he went around breathing bursts of ice on top of the fire rings surrounding innocent dragons freeing them by the minute. then layla looked over to see that nobody had noticed that Spyro and Cynder were trapped!!! so Layla ran over to them and said "dont worry mum and dad i will find help!!!" but there was nothing she could do flames were jumping and darting around Spyro and Cynder barly missing them. layla needed a miricle if she was going to save her mum and dad. he eyes were darting like the speed of light around the room looking for anyone that could help then she saw Frozo one of the ice guardians she went to call out his name but he couldn't hear so she opened her mouth and called FROZO!!!!!! but he couldnt hear again. She felt a urge of panic for her parents she was crying but she wiped the tears away and tried again only this time she was in so much need of water or ice that when she opened her mouth as wide as it would go and screamed his name again she didnt feel words coming out of of her mouth but something much more stronger than that then all of a sudden she opened her mouth and breathed as hard as she could and a surge of icy water blasted through her mouth and onto the firery flames that surrounded her mother and father!!! astonished at what she she has just done layla did it again and again untill all the flames had dissappeared from Spyro and Cynder! "well done darling!!!" cried her parents you just saved out lives!!!!!!" once Cyril and the other ice dragons had saved everyone else from the fire they flew down to where Spyro,Cynder and Layla's nest once stood "well i think we know what Layla's other element is!" he said proudly as everyone crowded around Layla and congradulated her. "wow" was all layla could say."if it wasnt for you darling we would of been killed!!!" said Spyro and Cynder proudly and relived. "well i think that you should all get some rest for tonight and we will all have a big meeting at my house tomrow morining at 10:00 sharp since half the temple is ruined!! said Cyril shamefaced "oh well theres nothing we can do about it now" said Cynder comfortingly. " hey where are me and my parents gonna sleep untill our nest gets fixed?!"piped up layla" "oh yes well you can stay where the rest of the guardains sleep on the safe bit of the temple for now you can just move your stuff over to there now and get some rest i will see you in the morning" said Cyril "thanx!" said Spyro. and they flew into the temple where they are staying and fell straight to sleep. nobody seemed to notice that after all the commotion that had happened that Tiny flew half heartly with a singed wing out through the temple gates and out into the moonlight.......
At the strike of midnight Tiny flew in from the hole in the wall to Pooki's lair
to find Pooki striding from one end of the room to the other. Tiny flew in squaking" boss,boss,BOSS!!!" Pooki jumped and roared"why won't they just give up!!??" "b-b-boss what do you mean?" squeaked tiny. but before Pooki could reply Tiny said " boss there was a massive fire at the temple and most of it was on urgh Spyro and Cynder's nest!!!" "And the worst part was that Layla saved her parents by breathing icy cold water onto the flames!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Pooki stopped in mid walk with a thoughtful look on his face. " Tiny i know that there was a fire at the temple because i started it !!!!!!" "WHAT???!!!!" squawked Tiny "i got half my wing burnt because of that dammed fire!!" " DONT SPEAK TO ME LIKE THAT!!" roared Pooki. " but what i dont understand is that the girl breathed ice cold water just in time to save her parents." " I mean she must be one of those dragons who can master up to two or more elements!!" Tiny piped in and said "but boss what i dont get is that she can breathe confexiti and water!!!" "yes i agree with you there that is not normal" said Pooki. "well we are going to have to do plan B" said Tiny. "The one where you told me how we dragonnap her!" " Yes indeed we will have to proceed with that plan " said Pooki " we will proceed in the morning and we will get everything prepared then when everyone is asleep we will proceed and we will succeed!!" and they went to sleep................. untill the morning of course.............................
CHAPTER 7

By the time Layla had woken up it was early morning. She streched and stood up only to look over to a window in the temple and a pebble hit the window. She flew over quitely and opened the window. Another pebble hit the window and barly missed Layla " Whoa!" then all of a sudden a little voice said from down below " opps tee hee" Layla could reconise that voice anywhere it was Crystal her best friend who had nearly got killed by the fire. Layla flew down and out of the window and onto the lush green grass below. " Crystal what are you doing here it's nearly time for the meeting at 10:00!". " said Layla "i just wanted to thank you for getting Cyril to save my life!" said Crystal. "oh no prob anytime" said layla with a smile on her face. "you would of gotten saved anyway" said Layla. "omgsh im just so glad you are alright!!" said Layla tears pouring from her face. "yeah me too!" commented Crystal. "Anyway we had better go wake up mum and dad and go to the meeting!" said Layla changing the subject. and wiping the tears away. And they flew up to the window,woke up Spyro and Cynder and flew off together to the meeting at Cyril's place....
It was time for the meeting at cyril's place. all of the dragons flew and sat down on the spongy window couches at cyril's house. "Alright we need to sort this out" coughed Cyril clearing his throat. "first things first we need to figure out who or what exacly started that fire yesterday!!"after all the dragons had been adding things to the conversation spyro said"you know there might be one person who could maybe be involved" said spyro wisely but thoughtfully "who who who???" queastioned all the dragons. "well i dont think it would be possible because he was claimed to be dead but it maybe would of been malafor's younger brother Pooki!" "sweety who the heck is that??! Malafor defintly did NOT have a brother that anyone who has heard of!" said Cynder madly and confused. "exacly what i mean nobody has heard of him but that dosen't mean that he dosen't exixts!!!" commented spyro smartly. " well now that you meantion it that does make sence cause Pooki's brother is ovdisly Malafor so he must of been jelous of him all of his life so when he died he must of followed in his footsteps!!!" "yes yes yes" said cyril thoughtfully this must be true because who else would of started this fire yesterday and nobody has heard of pooki so he must think that nobody knows who he is but now we do!" "alright lets get to the bottom of this" said Layla and they moved in a circle and started to chat privatly. meanwhile Pooki and tiny had their own plans something to do with a army of dragon robots!!!!!! .....
""now tiny come here !!" barked pooky "o ok y-yes boss squeaked tiny as he flew down from the bench he was working at trying to make an atempt at creating some giant metal dragon robots but frankly it just wasn't working. so tiny flew over bangind into stuff as he went." TINY WHY ISNT ANYTHING WORKING!!!!?????" boomed pooky ""i-i-i dont know boss but maybe this is a sign or something maybe we should just- "WHAT ARE YOU DARING TO SAY THAT WE SHOULD GIVE UP !" screamed pooky in anger
n-nno not at all boss it' just that we have been working at this plan all dam week and its not working !! " said tiny " hmm i supose your right im not too impressed with this idea " said pooky " hey i have an idea we could got to the park and take a break from all this work" said pooky " yeah ok said tiny and with that they flew to the park.
They had been flying around and resting in the park for nearly three hours now and when they were just about to give up something shiny caught Tiny's eye. " tiny lets go home now im tired " commented pooky. " n-no wait boss i'm sure i just saw something shiny on the ground!" " nah it's proberly just your eyes playing tricks on you it is getting quite dark anyway " yawned pooki " " b-b-but im sure!! tiny sighed there was no point in arguing it was getting quite late anyway. and tiny trailed miserably after pooky to the cave back home. But that night when all was quiet tiny would sneak out of the cave and go explore and see if that shiny thing he saw on the ground was real or if it really was just his eyes just playing tricks on him!
