"You mean you don't remember me!?" Ruuko roared with fury. He had to grind his teeth together to keep himself calm. "How dare you!"
Sky tilted his head.
"Am old is who I am." He responded.
"Old? That is no excuse to forget about me. You nearly killed me, remember?"
Sky looked thoughtful.
"I.... killing a dragon is what I remember. Dragon spirit revived him. Thought they betrayed me at first. But I began to understand. Back to the cave I ran, hoping the ancestors would forgive me for what I had done...."
"Yeah, well. I'm that dragon that you "nearly killed". I'm Ruuko! The amber eyed dragon!" Ruuko couldn't keep the words back. He wanted this wise dragon to remember him fully. He wanted to show his power to him, to show he is not week.
"Ruuko?" Sky narrowed his eyes. "Ah.... Yes... It's all coming back to me..."
"It is!?" Ruuko learned forward.
"Immature, hyperactive dragon who always talks to rocks is what you are." Sky chuckled, then snorted.
Ruuko sighed.
Nope, he doesn't remember me.
"Well, I'm sure you will remember when I show you some off my power."
Without hesitating, Ruuko breathed fire upon the wind dragon.

I thought that there should be a little bit off hummer before I get on with the battle.

CHAPTER 8:

Sky dodged the red flames, a surprise look on his face.
"What are you doing!?"
"You... You ruined my life!" Ruuko bared his teeth.
"What are you talking about!?" Sky stepped further and further away from Ruuko until his old scales hit the wall behind him.
"LOOK INTO MY EYES! CAN REMEMBER THEM DRENCHED IN MY BLOOD? Because off you, my sister is long gone. IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!" Ruuko leaped upon sky, still baring his teeth. Sky was terrified, but he stood his ground and did what Ruuko asked.

In a couple off heart beats, Sky's eyes widened.
"Yes... Remember you I think. Dragon who talks to rocks is the wrong dragon. You are a different Ruuko. The dark monster."
"Yes, and this dragon has come for his revenge."
"I can't believe the spirits revived you! Do they want to kill me?! I thought I understood why, but that was before I knew they wanted to kill me!"
"You shouldn't make decisions for yourself. What if they didn't know I would do this?"
"Don't be a fool! They betrayed me. I shell never look up to the stars again!"
"Now your being foolish!" Ruuko spat out the last words before he breathed Shadow Fire towards Sky.
This time, Sky stood his ground and breathed wind towards the blazing fire. A massive bunch off smoke appeared as soon as they hit. Ruuko new this was a perfect chance to fight back. He ran through the smoke, relying on his hearing to detect where Sky is. To his luck, he could see a faint outline in the distance. Ruuko closed his eyes and pounced towards the faint outline. He braced himself for massive paws to hit his side, but he felt nothing. Instead, he felt his head hit flesh. Ruuko opened his eyes. In front off him was a surprised Sky, his jaws desperate to get a grip on Ruuko. Ruuko knew this was a perfect opportunity to kill Sky. Ruuko aimed for the lump in Sky's throat. If he would to tear it out, then Sky would be dead in a couple off heartbeats.
"This is the end." Ruuko whispered.
Ruuko bit down on Sky's throat.

But before he could sink his fangs deeper into his flesh, a massive head ache struck him. Yelping in surprise, Ruuko let go off his grip on Sky and placed his paws on his head.
"What's happening?! Where is this coming from? It's so painful... I can't handle it! Make it stop!"
Ruuko felt a massive tail hit his side and he hit the wall.


OH NO... I just realized that the same thing happened to Bluestar.... She went crazy for a lil while too...
Why is it that every time I come up with something, it's always linked to something else? Like my character, Silverwing. There happened to be a book called Silverwing too. I didn't want people to think I copied the book so I changed it to Silverblade.

Oh, and Sky is the same size as Ignitus. And Ruuko is only twice the size as Spyro (
That is why Ruuko is finding it hard to defeat him. I know size shouldn't count, but Sky is like Terrador. Big and strong for his age. Oh, have you noticed that Sky is starting to talk properly?

Ruuko got up, the headache striking him once more. He huddled in the corner as Sky crept up towards him. Ruuko let out a load growl, warning Sky to stay back.
"I would off killed you if this headache wouldn't off kept me back!"
Sky stopped in his tracks, his eyes softened.
"Really? Do you really think so? You're so brave... for a kid..."
Ruuko was taken aback. Shaking himself wildly, Ruuko got up, he was surprised that the headache disappeared.
"How do you know!?"
"The eyes tell me everything.... They tell me all about you... Your age, if you're dark or light...
"You can talk properly now. But how!?"
"When I die, the ancestors promised me that I will be able to speak your language."
"Wait.. DIE!? Now?! No! We must finish out battle!"
"Don't worry. The ancestors don't know when I'm going to die. They told me to tell them when I'm ready."
"Well, first, me must finish our fight. I want my revenge on you, remember?" Ruuko smiled.
"Fine with me." Sky extended his claws and jumped a meter back.
Ruuko bared his teeth and flew up out off the crack.
"Good idea. It's getting warm in this cave." Sky flew out off the crack in the cave. And flew towards Ruuko.
Ruuko turned around, dodging his attack. He didn't realize that sky extended one off his claws, and it scraped softly across his stomach. Sky spun around, turning himself into a tornado and flew strait towards Ruuko. Ruuko had no choice but to fly away from it. The tornado flew him up into the air. Ruuko couldn't resist letting out a cry off excitement
"Woohohoho!!"
Ruuko breathed Shadow towards Sky while he was struck with dizziness. As he flew down to Sky's level, Sky went back to his normal self. Ruuko flew towards Sky and did the usual combat moves he learned from Cynder, horn punching, claw swiping, dodging, biting and the comet dashes. But because off Sky's size, Sky didn't fall back when Ruuko punched him continuously. The same order continued until Sky suddenly became more swift with his movement and making sure most off his claw swipes hit Ruuko, making him lose blood. Sky even breathed out ice shards every now and then, and Ruuko had to dodge them quickly.
Because Sky is the master off wind, he is one with the sky... The air is his advantage! I must make him use the ground instead!
Ruuko flew towards the ground and landed with a soft thump. He heard a louder thump near by, and he turned around. Sky had a small smirk on his face.
Wanting to get this over and done with, Ruuko sunk into the earth and popped up in front off Sky. He flapped his wings and aimed for his neck again. A huge tail slapped Ruuko and he skidded in the dirt. Ruuko flew back towards Sky again and loward his horns. He quickly peeked up to see Sky biting a tree and flinging it towards him. Surprised, Ruuko loward his horns again. The tree hit his spikes and the tip off his horns. Gathering all his strength, Ruuko pushed the tree towards Sky, but the weight off the tree was to much for him, so he quickly flew over it. He spun around saw the tree coming back towards him. Ruuko flew on top off the tree. Ruuko then jumped onto Sky's neck, dodging the claws that tried to strike him.

You know, I think this battle would be good for a video game. xD

BTW, I'm thinking about doing story that takes place in the third book in the story, "Chasing Sprits". While Ruuko is fighting off the dangers that strike him, meanwhile, three dragons are on a journey off there own. The characters are Koden (male), Axel (female) and another male character but I haven't thought off his name yet. xD

Oh, and I'm thinking about doing my first story again (The Legendary Ruuko: The Darkest Hour). The main story line is still there, but I'm going to change some things. The first thing I'm going to change is Ruuko's personality when he gets corrupted. When the corruption finery strikes him, he won't suddenly get that outgoing personality that he had in my original story. Instead, he would still be quiet, and he would hardly talk. He would only talk sometimes. And he would always have a confused/sad look on his face. Cynder would even call him a zombie some times. But as the story goes on, he gets to know most off the characters, and he gets more off a personality, and he talks more. And he becomes more ruthless.

PS: I'm thinking about doing another series. *SPOILER WARNING* It will be about the dark apes trying to get Ruuko to go back to the dark side.

I like your idea, but the original personality suits him because the corruption brings out his evil side more thoroughly. Still, I would like to see your idea of a new personality of Rukko in action

Well, I was going to make him mysterious from the start, and because he didn't get corrupted fully, his personality didn't change.....

Anyway, on with the story! ;) It's VERY long this time!

Ruuko felt a claw dig into his side, and he hit the ground. Dust swirled from all directions and exploded on Sky's face.
"Is that all you got?" Sky howled in triumph before shaking the dust away.
Ruuko snorted and stood back up onto his feet. This was useless. If he would to do the same thing again, he would just get knocked down to the floor again. He may be swift, but Sky's claws just keep on coming in from all different directions. He needed a different strategy.

Ruuko glanced at Sky's throat, then he rested his gaze on the forest around him until he spotted a pine tree, filled with spikes. Ruuko couldn't resist letting a smirk slip across his face. He new exactly what to do. It wouldn't be enough to kill this wise dragon, but it will be enough to weaken him.
"Your life is over, Sky!"
Ruuko shoot strait for the spiky pine tree. Just as he thought, Sky followed him, but lacking he's speed. Every time Sky takes a step, Ruuko would take three steps. This would be easy for him. Ruuko spun around and grabbed the tree, but in a spot that had no signs off spikes. He pulled the large plant back, and then he let go off it. The plant headed straight towards Sky. Splat. Blood splatted onto the floor as massive spikes hit Sky's body. Sky screeched in pain, but half off it was shock. He pulled the heavy plant off his body, making the tree go back to it's original place. Blood stained it's spikes, and Ruuko backed away a little, a blank shadow flickering across his face.
"So, what do you think?" Ruuko asked, flipping over a rock to show a speck off blood.
"Impressive. I didn't expect that. But, I know what kind off dragon you are now. You are a speed type, who also doesn't have a heart. It's full off black smo-"
"Shut up." Ruuko spat. He didn't want to hear it. "Gaul and Cynder and the army off Malefor are the only creatures who raised me. They took care off me. I only respect them. You took one off them away from me."
"Only to save the purple dragon, and the world." Sky spoke calmly. Even the blood that splattered from his body turned to droplets. "With this condition, I won't last.... That's what you become when you're old... It takes too long to recover from such wounds. The spikes had scraped my bones... Making it harder for me to walk."
Ruuko just stared up into the sky.
"I think my life will come to an end very shortly. I can feel it." Sky sighed.
"Then why don't you ask your ancestors to take you to the skies? You said it yourself. When you're ready, the ancestors will take you in."
"Oh, that? I didn't mean it that way. The ancestors granted me my wish as a sign that my death is nigh. They new you where coming.... When I found out, I promised I would never look to the skies again. But, when you got that headache, I new straight away that your headache was a sign, telling me that it is natural for my life to end now. And there is nothing the spirits can do to stop that."
"Then why didn't you leave to find a new cave?"
"Why would I? They told me when I was going to die. I learned to accept it, and face the challenge that was forced upon me."
"Then why did you fought back? You knew you where going to die anyway, so why bother trying?"
Sky just sighed.
"So much questions.... But who am I too judge? You young, you're only a kid with a whole life ahead off you. But my life is in the past, and now it has come to an end. I fought you because I wanted to die and be known as a brave fighter, not a cowered."
"You do realize that you're going to die fighting." Ruuko challenge.
He wanted to take this dragon down for his sister. Maybe she is close by, watching the whole thing. Maybe she is impressed! He never took down a dragon with her watching. He wanted to prove to her that he is just as powerful as she is.
"I want to prove to everyone at the castle that I'm not a weakling...." Ruuko whimpered out loud. Then he shock his head.
What am I doing!? I'm sounding like an expressionless shadow!
"So, your with me?" Ruuko grinned his teeth.
"And get torched? I'd rather not. I've already fought bravely. Right now, I'd rather leave the battle." Sky gazed up at the moon, suddenly, his wing tips began to sparkle. Ruuko blinked, and the sparkles where gone.
"And how are you supposed to do that!? I'm not going to stand here and let you walk pass me. After this, I will never see you again! So it's ether fight to the death, or... err... Well, fight to the death is the only option!" Ruuko scraped his claws on the soft earth, spraying up speaks off dirt.
"I'm not going to chose that option. I'm still going to leave this battle." Sky answered.
"I'd like to see you try!" Ruuko sneered.
"Oh, I'm certainly going to succeed."
"Then do it."
Sky walked over to the same pine tree with sharp spikes. He learned over and clamped a large spike in between his jaws. He began to tug at the plant until the spike broke free. Sky stood up on his hind legs, picking up the spike. His face looked blank, as if he was dead, and his spirit is breaking out off his body.
"Are you going to throw that at me?" Ruuko asked. "I'd like to see you try!"
Sky didn't respond. Instead, he walked over to a large stone and stuck the spike into the rock. He went back to all fours, and lifted up his head. He gave one swift glace at Ruuko, before he rested his gaze back to the thick needle.
"Ruuko, the spirits tell me that you are not a black dragon, but a black cat."
"What do you mean? And what are you- No! Sky! Don't do it!" Ruuko suddently realized what Sky was going to do.
"Fight me like a true warrior! That will keep me, and you happy!" Ruuko screeched.
Sky did not answer. A shadow wiped across his face as he clamped his left paw around the spike and bash his head continuously against the incredibly large spike.


BTW, Ruuko is a very fast dragon. And is good with his shadow breath. But he lacks in all the other areas. He loves to attack from far away places, which is why he likes his Shadow breath. He just slash and scratch the enemy lots off times, but that's because there is no other way to get a good hit onto the enemy. But during the story, he starts to use his Shadow breath ALOT more.

GAAAAAHH! I have an awesome idea for my last story in this series! >.< I just wanna do it already.... D:

Ruuko stood there in horror as Sky continued to destroy his head. Blood splatered all over the trees, staining them too a dark red.
"Sky, stop! You're going to kill yourself"
It was too late. Sky flopped to the floor, dead. Ruuko stood there, like a shadow, as his victim's eyes gazed up at the sky one last time.

PS: Ruuko has a deep voice. xD I know, I'm very random.

CHAPTER 9:

Ruuko continued to stare at Sky's dead body.
"Look at you... Committing suicide... Wanting to end this battle quickly.... You... you idiot..." Ruuko sighed before he walked away from the lifeless body. He didn't like the fact that he didn't kill him, but he was happy that he did got his revenge.... His dark revenge.

Ruuko halted as he started at Gaul's castle. Tomorrow is when they will leave to go the the mountain off Malefor. It won't be a long journey, considering it's only a couple off blocks up the hills.

"Ruuko!"
A loud call came from behind him.
Ruuko turned around. Behind him stood Gaul. He was holding his staff in his left hand.
"What's the problem?" Ruuko asked.
"Where have you been?! I've been looking for you since Sunrise!" Gaul roared.
Ruuko did not answer his question.
"Well, where ever you've been, at least you're here now. Rockheart had to organise the apes because you weren't here to do your job."
Ruuko still did not answer.
"Ruuko, you'd better be here to organise the trip tomarrow. If you're not, then someone else will take your place"
"Don't worry, Gaul, I will." Ruuko replied at last.
Gaul nodded and walked towards the castle entrance. But before walked strait in, he turned around.
"Don't forget your training, Ruuko. Never forget that me and Cynder trained you to become what you are today."
Suddently, dreaded memorise pulsed through Ruuko's head like a forest fire, and Ruuko's eyes grew wide.

Ruuko stood still, his mind spinning. Infront off him, laid a fallen dragon. It's blood stained the floor, and got washed away by the rain.
"I can't believe it.... I killed him! Gaul never said it would feel like this!" Ruuko thought.
Not baring to hear to see a dragon in this state, Ruuko turned around and fled. But he bumped into Cynder before he could get very far. Cynder's face was expresionless.
"Ruuko, see this? Get used to it. You will have to face many deaths on your way to becoming one off us. I remebering feeling like this too, when I was in training. But you get used to it. And soon, it starts to feel great."
Ruuko didn't know how to reply. And he didn't know how he could possibly get used to this feeling.

Ruuko sighed as he remembered his training. It wasn't fun at all. It was dark. It was haunting. And he couldn't remember anything else in his past. To him, it was full off dark training.
At least it's all over now...

^ Sorry, I forgot to mention that earlier on. The remake will be really different... But the main story line, and some parts will stay the same. But I don't think I will be starting it for a long time. xD

Sudently, Gaul opened the castle door again with his might strength. He swiftly ran towards Ruuko, his eyes wide with shock.
"You forgot your morning salad?" Ruuko growled jokingly.
"No time for mockery. It seems like I've miss calculated."
"Miss calculated?" Ruuko completly clueless on what Gaul was yapping about. "What did you miss calculate?"
"The eclipse," Gaul didn't seem like he even heard Ruuko's question. "The eclipse is nigh. It is not going to start tomorrow, but today, somewhere in the evening.... We have to move, now!"
Ruuko's eyes widened in shock.
But I need some rest! I just fought a dragon, and I had nothing to eat since Sunrise!
"Can't I quickly catch a small lizard or something? Just to keep my strength up?"
"Ruuko, you are a powerful dragon. Dragons like you can survive without food for months. I'm sure you can handle it."
"I'm not that powerful.... Anyway, can I at least drink from the river down stream? Quickly?"
Gaul sighed. He lifted up his staff, then he rested it on the ground.
"Alright. You can have a drink. After all, any creature has too drink in order to survive."
Ruuko dipped his head before he padded towards the river down stream.

CHAPTER 10:

The journey to the mountain off Malefor began, Ruuko was surprised that he had to stay at the rear end off the group. His role was to make sure that all the stragglers get killed. Gaul had an excuse to this, saying that "if they can't make this journey without struggling, then they won't be fit enough to kill the purple dragon.", but Ruuko felt that the more apes they had, the better the tribe would be. So far, the party manage to keep up, but he could hear some heavy breathing amongst the group.

That's all I can wright now. I have to go somewhere.
