What do you guys think the character designs for Spyro, possibly Cynder, Sparx, the Guardians, and others, will be like in the next Spyro game? Will they resemble EL's first-time dragon anatomy of the dragon characters, or will they be redesigned again to the new game developer's art style?

I'd say keep Spyro's design, but I think they should definitely work on Cynder's design. Either redesign her into the form she originally had in TEN, but combined with the graphics and feel of EL's version of her.

And also change the Guardian's barney teeth they had in DotD.

judging by the status of spyro right now... they will probably go back to half each. plotholes D:

I think they will make him more grown up and muscular while cynder will become more tender looking and nimble.

In my opinion, the developers need to give more expression in Spyro's face when he's running/panting/breathing. It seemed to me that he looked like that ol' panting dog look in the DotD gameplay. His expression was aching with blandness all over it.

I'm either hoping that EL will do better on the next game, or a new developer is working on the next game... or just stay with one flippen developer. Really. Spyro's been through five designs. XP

They dont need to see a shrink they need to stop takeing drugs.

Sparx looked like an alien with wrinkles in DotD. EL took away one of his fingers and now he has three instead of four. Nice going, EL.

Change Cynder's design, and I'll be happy.

Yeah, do something about her chest. DotD Cynder is what drives the fantards crazy about a fictional purplish dragoness that's not even real.

and she isnt even meant to be purple. EL failed.

Probably discovered some other sexy female character somewhere, and decided to obsess over her.

They need to make Cynder black, all the time. Not just when shes in shadows. The only char. I didnt like the EL design for was sparx, the krome one was better imo.

You do have a good point. I think that Cynder should be heftier.....I mean....anorexic dragon.......talk about a BAD ROLE MODEL.

i didn't like the dotd designs too much. but im not complainin. it wasnt a bad game, wasnt a great game, i liked it, its ok. as long as they make a new game soon, im happy. i do care about the character designs, but its not the most important detail of the game. the character designs should be tweaked in the next game, but not much, or their will be plotholes

Nothing. But Cynder's anorexic.

I think they tried to make her more feminine looking, cos she's the first female you ever see so they widened hes hips thickened the base of her tail, made her lithe and 'graceful' but made her skinny and pushed out her breastbone to imply breasts and thus femaleness. I think it works, but hopefully not every female in their world is so skinny, Spyro might snap her if he hugs her too tight lol

Cynder shouldn't look THAT skinny in DotD. EL added more meat to her chest than putting some in the rest of her body.

Krome's designs were awesome!

At least make the character designs almost similar to Krome's art style without altering them.

While I liked Cynder's DotD design the best, if there's a design similar to it that the creeps won't obsess over, I'm all for it...
