Just for Faun has an entire section in "favorites" devoted to romance, with a lot of Spyro/Elora stuff.

Haven't really thought of any good songs for the pairing though. Give me some to think about that one.

SpyroxElora is very cute. I didn't quite understand it when I first played RR/GtG when I first got it, (probably since I was like... 7) I'm happy that they're pretty much canon in the Insomniac Era.

I second it. Ignitusforever, how is Elora annoying? She puts Spyro in his place, and helps everyone out whenever she can.

Even though Elora's fictional, Elora's a good videogame-character role model.

I don't really see Elora's "bossing" around of Spyro as being any different from Ember ("You'll do it because you like me") or Cynder ("Why your lead?!"). Honestly, of them all, I think Elora was the nicest about it. She at least didn't drag Spyro to Avalar on purpose and she couldn't force him to do anything he didn't want to (and he did imply that he wanted to kick Ripto's butt personally). She was doing what she could to help him and her homeland. If she sounded a bit bossy, it was likely more from panic ("Spyro, Ripto's locked us out of the castle! We need your help!").

Anyway, there's my mini-rant on that subject.

Obviously if you're life depends on someone then convincing them to help isn't normal behavior then.

<3 This pairing, its rather cute :3 More interesting than SpyroXCynder, although seeing as legend Spyro and Cynder are from a different universe, i think we should just leave that pairing out of this. I doubt Insomniac Spyro would tumble into the legend universe and fall for Cynder, it would just be weird.

Although, i would support the SpyroXCynder pairing if Cynder's personality was of that in AnB and TeN, she was RUINED in DotD!

Anyway, yesh, i'm sticking with SpyroXElora = Awesomeness Noone like it? Mine and Others opinions, get over it... (not aimed at anyone in particular btw)

Agreed with you on Spyro/Cynder being cute if she'd kept her ANB/TEN personality. DotD just pushed it way too far.

Heh, I can't imagine Insomniac Spyro getting along too well with Cynder. He's not the nice pushover that LoS Spyro is and I think the two would butt heads pretty badly. Which would be pretty funny, now that I think on it...

The great thing about the Spyro franchise is that the main three pairings can all be canon because they each exist in different universes (word of god, folks). But of them all, I still prefer Spyro/Elora. She was the first and she remains the only character to have ever kissed him (and given him a second chance when he dropped the ball the first time).

I actually madified Cynder's looks and personallity in my own AU so I could pair her up with Original Spyro.

As for cannon, I prefer SpyroxElora.

i just hope in the next spyro game it doesn't go all loveduvvi and stuff . i dont mind having cynder in the game just as long as she doesn't change spyro's persenality.... oh wait she allready did i liked him in ten and anb but he became all serious in dotd

Spyro was a tool from the moment he learned Cynder wasn't really evil.

Eh, the next game probably won't be based on the trilogy, but set in a different complete storyline in one game, but set in the same universe that has nothing to do with the LoS trilogy. That means they won't add the lovey dovey material in the game, and Spyro and Cynder will probably be just friends. Sorry, if I'm being off-topic.

I hope you're right Aura. I can't take the love bull****, especially what it's done to Spyro. Even if they fix everything in the next game so it's not so bad I will still preffer the old. That might not make sense to some, but really, if you think about it, it does.

Out off all the Spyro parings, I prefer SpyroxElora.

Besides, Elora is better then Cynder and Ember. She isn't a marry-sue, and she isn't extremely girly and annoying. IMO, she is the right choice for Spyro.
