"I don't have any parents..." he said quietly. " I was created from a massive fireball..."

"oh....sorry to hear that.....it sounds cool though, i mean, the fire ball......sometimes i wish i didn't live with my mom. i even tried running away a few times....but it never worked out....i really miss my dad though.....he never treated me liek a kid..."

"what happened to your dad?" he said sadly.
Frostbolt was still listening.

Star turned away for a moment, and then looked back at him.
"he died trying to save someone he shouldn't have.....she seemed nice....and was them other of an old freind of mine......but when he went to the temple to save her from an approaching deadly fog.....she told him that she was immune to it......she trapped him inside.......before flying away......he didn't deserve to die like that......." she wiped a tear from her eye.

"oo... shhh..." he wrapped a red wing around her. "its okay... hes still here..."

"..i know.....i've talked to him.......he comes to me sometimes......and sometiems visits me in my dreams......he's the one that always convinces me to get back home when i run away......."

"I wish he would visit you more often.... he seems to make you very happy." he smiled.

"yeah....he does....he made my mom very happy too......we were both sad when he died....."

"so you two are still alone?" he asked curiously.

"it's a long story.....my mom is with that ice dragon you saw, Frostbolt, they've been together for a while....in fact, together, they had my little half-brother, Frostfire. they also adopted an ice dragon named Icicle, though she is technically family. and i have my own daughter, Nightstar......though......" she looked down. "..i haven't seen her father, Nightfire in a while....."

"what happened? is he missing?" he asked carfully, trying not to upset her.
OOC: sorry i g2g and do HW now.. and sorry about disappearing... i am at my mom's store and i had to help her *hugs*

"i don't know......he just.......seemed......to disappear.......Nightstar was upset for a while, though she seems fine now......i have no idea where her father is......"

"thats odd..... i've never hear of that... although... hehe.. i haven't seen much." he said as he luaghed a bit.

"yeah..." Star smiled. Fireflight had gathered up the kids, and left them with Goldstar and the others. she then walked to the room, and walked inside. she saw Star with Nova.
"Starfire! what in the world are you doing?!" she was surprised to see them together, and was also a bit angry. Star looked at her.
"Mom! you can't just burst in here like that!" she snapped. she hated when Fire invaded her personal space.
"well, it's a good thing i did! now, you get away from him young lady!" she snarled. Star got up, and walked over to her.
"and what if i want to hang out with him?! she snarled back.
"you can't, because i forbid it! he is dangerous, Starfire!"
"well, he's nice to me!"
"i don't care! now, you had better stay away from him!"
"no! i'm sick of you telling me what to do all the time! it's you who should stay away from me!" Star growled. then she hit Fire's face with her tail, making a cut under her right eye. blood dripped from Fire's face. Fireflight then left the room, leaving a trail of blood behind her.

"Good greif! why did you do that to your mom? that was kind.... of.... drastic.." he said in suprise. " I would have just left and waited in a bush or something outside and waited for her to leave."

Frostbolt walked after fireflight. "hey, you alright?" he said as he wiped the blood off of her face and froze the cut.

Star looked at him.
"that wouldn't work. my mom over reacts about everything. plus, running and hiding just don't work. she'll be fine. Frost will just freeze her cut, or she'll just heal herself" Star said, acting as if she didn't really care.
Fire looked at him.
"thanks. i--i--i just don't know want to do anymore. i can never get through to her. if she wants to be on her won so bad, then she can run away for all i care. i'm just getting sick of her being fine one minute, and hating me the next. i'm only trying to look after her, protect her, and she does something like this. the anger she feels towards me hurts more than the cuts she makes on my body" she said. then Fire walked outside.

Frostbolt followed her, "she just wants some privacy.... i was.... sort of rude on how you barged in on her... i mean.... she has her own kid... don't you think.. its... time... i don't know.... to let go a little bit?" he said carfully trying not to make her angry.

Fire stopped. she closed her eyes, and lowered her head. she then turned to look at him.
"i've lost a lot of people i cared about in my lifetime......with Star's impulsive nature......she....." Fire looked away. "....i just worry about her.....she can act like Night at times......and Night often gets herself into trouble......." she looked back at him. "...Star is reckless at times......she doesn't think about the coincequences of her actions......she is bound to get herself into trouble......and there are times she thinks shes indestructable, but shes not......her very personallity could get her in danger......as long as i know she's stuck here or at cave, i know she is safe.....i don't trust that dragon.....i just worry about what he could do to her...." she looked away.

Frost sighed, "every generation is stronger than the last.... by the time star is your age, she will be stronger than you are now. By the time Frostfire is my age, he'll be stronger than I was... you have to trust starfire..... she can protect herself.."
Nova sat dack down, "So.... whatcha want to do?"

Star walked over to him.
"i don't know" she said. then Nightstar walked in.
"mommy" she said. Star looked at her.
"yes?" she asked.
"can me, Frostfire, and Icicle go outside and play?" she asked.
"well, sure, but why didn't you ask Grandma?"
" 'cuase shes busy with Grampa, and we know we can't go outside on our own"
"alright. i'll be there in a minute. go get the others, and stay with Goldstar until i come to you, ok?"
"ok, mommy!" Nightstar said. then she ran off to the others. Star smiled as she looked back at Nova.
"well, it looks like i'm on babysitting duty. you don't have to come with me to watch kids, if you don't want to"
:meanwhile:
"i know, i just......i can't help but worry about her......i just wish she would act more like an adult sometimes...."

"well.... if she acted like an adult all the time she wouldn't be her.... your not like an adult all the time either.... your quiet childish yourself, so am I." he said cheerfully.

Frostfire was already with Goldstar, "i wish they would hurry up..." he looked up at goldstar. "What do you think of my dad? I mean... as a person.."

Nova luaghed, "pass up hanging out with a cuttie like you? Naw, i'll come."

Star smiled.
"come on" she said. then she walked down the hallway. the kids jumped excitedly when they saw her. "ok, kids, lets go play" she said.
"yay!" the girls cheered, running down the hallway. Goldstar smiled, and looked down at frostfire.
"i think he makes a wonderful husband and father. now, go play with the others"
"come on, Goldstar, elders are welcome to come play" she chuckled, following the kids. Goldstar followed her.

"yes, i know. but she acts more immature than us. she acts like a reckless teenager" Fire said. she then saw everyone run past her. then she grabbed Star's arm. "where is everyone going?" she asked.
"outside to play. you coming?" Star asked.

"I'm coming... but weather or not your mom does remains to be seen." he said playfully, teasing fireflight. " mabye shes to "Grown-up" to play anymore."

frostfire smiled and ran after everyone.
Nova ran after starfire. "wait up!"

Fire gave Frost a look.
"well, someone has to look after the kids" she teased. Star looked back down theh all to see Shadow and Night trailing behind.
"come on slowpokes! everyones headed outside!" she called. then Star ran outside. as soon as she was out there, the kids tackled her, growlig playfully. "ah! you got me!" Star screamed, playfully. the kids roared, trying to seem scary. "help! i'm being attacked by little gremlins!" Star screamed. Fire looked outside, and laughed. Night rolled her eyes. Shadow chuckled. Goldstar laughed.

"star seems so be watching the kids.... so..... " he then playfully tackled fireflight and flew away luaghing, "YOUR IT!"

Nova luaghed and picked up one of the kids, "I'll save you!"

Fire gorlwed playfully, and flew after him. Night rolled her eyes, and then walked into another room. SHadow followed her, though a part of him wanted to play.
the kids then tackled Nova. Star laughed.
"my hero" she chuckled.

Nova threw the kids up in the air. "rawr!" he cuaght them and threw the back up as he luaghed.
Frostbolt looked back at fireflight, "come on mrs.grownup!"

Star and Goldstar laughed. the kids laughed, as they yelled "again!" every time he caught them.
Fire then flew faster. she was right on his tail. she reached out, and grabbed his foot.
"got you!"

"awwwww...." *teleports behond fireflight and chases her* fly fly as fast as you can!"

nova luaghed as he threw the kids.

frostbolt chased fireflight, "nova doesn't seem all bad.."

Fire flew faster. then Nightstar jumped on Nova's belly, and then tackled Star.
"rawr!" Nightstar roared playfully. Star screamed.
"help!" she laughed. Goldstar laughed, and then heard a scream inside. at first, she didn't think much of it, thinking it was probally just Fire playing around. then the scream grew louder. Fire stopped for a moment, and looked around. it wasn't her screaming.

"what was that?" frost and nova both said at the same time. Frosthad stopped flying and Nova stood up.

the kids looked around, confused. Goldstar rushed inside, with Star following her. the kids followed Star, wanting to stay with her. Fire saw them run past, and stopped the kids from going any further. Goldstar and Starfire burst through the door of Shadow and Night's room, but no one was there.
"where are they?" Star asked, looking around. Goldstar walked to thecenter of the room, and looked at a pile of ashes that lay on the floor.
"i don't know, but we're going to find out"

Frost and Nova ran in after star and gold. "what the?... where are they?" frost asked franticly. "thats odd.... why is there a pile of ash here?" he said as he walked to the middle of the room.

"i don't know....but i know someone who will...." Goldstar said. then she teleported out of the room. Star inspected the ashes. she touched it with her paw.
"the ashes are warm. i think a fight occured in this room. my guess is that these ashes belong to a dragon or possibly someone else. lets just hope it isn't Shadow or Night" she said. Fire walked in, with the kids all around her.
"what happened here?" she asked. Star looked at her.
"i don't know, but i'm going to find out. you stay here and watch the kids, i'll go find out what happened" she said. and before Fire could respond, Star was gone. Fire stood there with a worried look on her face. the kids looked scared.

Frostbolt looked around the room, looking for other burn marks, Nova did the same.

there were random scorch marks all over the walls. this indicated that fire balls were shot around the room. Fire took the kids to another room to calm them down.
Goldstar had teleported to the Council, and was now seeking the help of Silver and the others.
Starfire was flying around the land, in search of something.

Frostbolt and nova looked at each other, "soo..... akward situation hu?"... "yeah.. it is.."

Goldstar teleported back with Silver and Bronze. Bronze itmediately inspected the ashes, and took samples of it. Silver looked at Frost and Nova, greeting them, and introducing herself. Goldstar watched Bronze, and followed her when she walked out of the room to further inspect the ashes.

Frost waved at Silver, "do i know you?" Nova smiled and said, "hey"

Silver smiled and waved back.
"you don't remember me?" she asked. "i am Silver, a member of the council of wyrms. Goldstar asked us to come, and help find out what happened here" she explained. Goldstar was with Bronze in the library. Bronze had a cauldron, bubbleing, and filled with ingrediants. she then tossed in the ashes. Goldstar watched, hoping she could find out something from this.
meanwhile, screaming could be heard from the kids' room.

"O yeah.. how are yo-" he was cut short by the screaming. he and nova ran into the kids room. "whats going on?"

the room was empty, all except for a pile of ashes and scorch marks on the walls. Silver rushed in after them. she looked around the room.
"oh dear.......it happened again........"

"dam.... now the kids...." frostbolt muttered... Nova frowned, "looks like they got your son too..."... "I know..." frostbolt walked out of the room.

Silver joined Goldstar and Bronze in the library. Silver then handed Bronze a sample of the new ashes, and told them what happened.
:meanwhile:
Starfire landed outside a mountain, surrounded by dark clouds and a thick fog. she cautiously walked inside.

frostbolt walked into the library and layed down. He looked as if he was in deep thought. Nova stayed in the room, looking for some kind of clue.

"ah ha!" exclaimed Bronze. SIlver and Gold looked at her.
"well?" asked Silver.
"did you find out something?!" Goldstar asked.
"yes, i did. these ashes all belong to black dragons. so niether Fireflight or the kids were harmed. unfotunately, it means that Shadow and Night could have been harmed"
"ok, but where are they?" Silver asked.
:meanwhile:
Starfire explored the mountain. she had wandered into a large, dark dungeuon, and looked around for any prisoners.
"Star!" a female voice crid out. Starfire ran in the direction of the voice, and found many cells, each had a dragon in it. Fire and the kids were here.
"mom!" Star said, as she rushed over to her.

Spyra was flying and crashed into a rock...again...

"Flip"She said as she slid down to the ground.
