I got to say...Dotd. Plz dont start flameing me, i thought he looked cute.

I wouldn't do that!! In fact, that's my opinion too.

I wasn't just talking t you, i was talking to anyone that comes on this topic. And it's nice to know someone likes Dotd, Spyro. Becuase if there others i havn't seen them.

I like old Spyro. I've never played DotD so I don't know how he looks in the game.

I'm fine with anyone's opinion, no matter what they think.........But my preference is still for DotD Spyro.

Well the ANB was cute but he had kinda oversized head, i guess DOTD

A New Beginning FTW in the TLoS series~ Spyro made me say "Sqeee" because I found him adorable at the time. :D


But, out of everything; i'd say "A Hero's Tail" Spyro. 83

I like all of them, but DOTD was the most practical body so thats my fave.

ANB he looked so adorable! Especially when he tilted his head so we couldn't see his mouth but his eyes were so big and cute!

Well, here's the "evolution" of Spyro's design... so to speak:

I like the wii version of DOTD for spyro AND Cynder, I know it is not about Cynder, but it is just my opinion.

I like the Hero's tail looks and ANB looks. DotD looks are ok, they make him look like a lanky teen.

Well.....I love both...all the games were really exiting though!

I like Spyro The Dragon design most.

DotD for me, dragons looks more natural to me, but still not natural, like too small wings etc.

Yeah, If they all had slightly bigger wings, and longer claws, they'd look almost perfect.

True.A western dragon can't fly with such wings.And I didn't like the scales.They looked weird.And there are none of them on their heads.And their size looks like a 9-13 human years old hatchlings.

I know. Technically, dragons are REPTILES. They should be scalier. Also, the areas where their wings join with their bodies would look better (especially with Spyro) if they had more muscle tone.

i have to agree with u GoldenDragon. i studyed reptiles for 10 years.( im turning 15 in june so it counts) the scales to a reptile is very important to detail,and ability

I'm working on weasling a deviantart account out of my parents, and may EVENTUALLY *sigh* be able to post pics of what I think Spyro and Cynder should look like, but I TOTALLY agree with you, Nick.

I agree with you, guys.As for myself, I too have reptiles at my house.
And to GoldenDragon, by you meant 'Also, the areas where their wings join with their bodies would look better.', you meant that the wing membranes should connect to their body?I also agree with that.It looks unnatural connecting to a wing bone.
Seriously, the creators of the Spyro games should have looked more at naturalistic/realistic.But all they want is money.

These gaming companies are motivated far more by profits than realism and pleasing loyal fans.

In my opinion though, DotD came closest to the "optimal" look.

I pesonaly don't care about 'realism', hello, std(1)! but i liked th cuteness of anb/ten (they are the same spyro on console) but in dotd, he looked, like a muntant or something. sorry, its just my opinian. If they would have only fixed the preportions...

The first three Spyros for complete and utter cuteness and the dawn of the dragon for being Awesome and grown up and also quite attractive. hey i'm I guy but I think he's hot lol so in my opinion the DOTD Model is awesome, but cynder is like my favourite xD
