Thanks, though I don't think I did too well, it was meant to seem that the battle lasted for hours, but whatever. There's another long battle, so I'll try to make it seem to stretch out then.

Chapter 12

Cynder clambered to her feet, Spyro beside her. She saw a black moving dragon out if the corner of her eye. He spoke in words only she could hear.
"I had to strike again. Forgive me." he whispered.
"No." She hissed, still walking with Spyro towards Hakiu.
He stood next to Infinity, who was wounded in the stomach. She was still alive, but barely. She glanced at Spyro and Cynder as they arrived.
"Thank you, for everything you have done. And Hakiu, I - I love you." Infinity said as her last breath escaped her.
"No. How could you do this?" Cynder asked Death, who was standing, oblivious to the others notice, next to her.
" It is not my fault. Her fate has been written on the pages of Destiny's book for as long as time. She knew it would happen." He told only her.
Hakiu broke down in tears. Spyro padded over, to comfort him. Tears stung Spyro's eyes too. Cynder mourned, but Death just stood there. She turned on him, fire in her eyes.
"WHY ARE YOU HERE? WHY ME?" She screamed in her silent conversation with him. His look was fearful, though he stood his ground.
"It is not my choosing. I wouldn't strike if I didn't have to."

De ja vu over now. D: Infinity? NUUUU. *She has her own story, not interlinked with this, so I just used her for this story, to add to the epicness, hopefully. xD *

Chapter 13

The three warriors carried her back to Warfang, where all dragons held a vigil for her, staying outside to mourn. Hakiu, who was the second in command, asked for Spyro and Cynder to lead their war party. They turned down the offer, they had to keep moving. The darkness knew they were in Warfang now, and would destroy anything and anyone to get to them.
They left the day after the battle, telling Hakiu to take over. Hakiu accepted, though said he could never be a proper leader.
Spyro and Cynder headed North, towards the deserted Mountain of Malefor. They would need to rest there, then head on to the land beyond dragon territory. Cynder kept having the dreams, seeing Echo, then Infinity, then the massive tree, then the hatchery, then the hatchling. Surely not, becuase the first two had come true, were the others real? She hoped not.
It took a couple of days of flying to get halfway to the Mountain, and then they rested. Cynder dreamt, for the third time in that blue, misty world. The mist started to reform again, turning into a wyvern with a kindly face, watching her sweetly. The mist then slashed itself in half and became a huge mountain. The mist zoomed to the mountain, and entered the top. Cynder saw herself and Spyro, facing Death and a female dragon similar to him, a misty figure, real and not real, but blue with a smirk and a look of never ending power. The mist started to reel away, slipping into wormholes in the fabric of the blueworld. She woke up calmly this time, but with more knowlege than when she went to sleep.

Then how did you post? And yes it is very possible to wake up when your dead, my grandpa died he was dead for a few minutes then woke up. He was alive again. So you CAN wake up after being dead!
