Hullo sorry it took so long, school and crap. xD
This chapter was supposed to be longer but I thought I would give it to you guys now. So here it is. :3

~Chapter 3~
Outside the cave, the air was cold and moist. A storm was slowly approaching the valley. Lyda flapped her large pink wings faster, hoping she could out fly the upcoming storm.
She had left to find Siyana something to eat, it felt like she had been gone for days. It had only been a few hours; Lyda was worried about both of them. She had no idea what could happen or what she would miss while she was gone. Her mind raced with through the possibilities, she was already becoming a frantic mother and it had only been a few hours since Siyana had hatched.
The carcass of the rabbit she had killed draped from her jaws. Its blood lingered on the back of her taste buds. Trees passed in a blur beneath her, the sounds of animals and the crashing of water against the rocks below drifted up to her.
Lighting struck somewhere over the mountains, the clouds lit up in response to the sudden flash of light. A low roar of thunder echoed in the distance.
Lyda spotted the mouth of the cave hidden in the cliffs; she pulled in her wings and dived towards the rocky floor. The ground rushed to her in seconds. She opened her wings before she hit the ground and gently landed. The rocks were cold underneath her paws and raindrops had begun to dot the grey rocks. Lyda pulled her wings in and quickly made her way inside, the rain began to fall hard when she reached the safe haven of their cave. She made her way through the narrow tunnel that lead to her home.
Her thoughts shifted to the cave that surrounded her and she grew irritated at the small amount of space. She had always wanted a larger home with more tunnels to keep out intruders and more rooms for future hatchlings. The earth dragons had ignored her pleas; she still held a small grudge against them for that.
The mention of future hatchlings' rooms came back to her and she exhaled through her nose. Both Dione and she had been disappointed that she had only laid one egg. Lyda knew she would have laid more eggs if she had taken better care of her health when the eggs were developing. If only she had known sooner maybe there would have been more hatchlings running around. She loved Siyana but craved other children in her home. There was nothing she could do now, besides wait until she was able to mate again.
Lyda rounded the last corner of her home. At least those earth dragons had done something right, the main part of the cave was dug out deep inside the mountain. She stepped into the wide opening and stopped in her tracks. There was no one there.
She looked around quickly worry was overtaking her emotions. Horror flooded through her mind and she rose up on her hind legs, getting ready to fly out of the cave and hunt whatever had took them down.
Suddenly Siyana tumbled down in front of her, she let out a loud playful growl. Lyda jumped back in fear, the rabbit falling from her jaws as she let out a loud squeal.
A deep chuckle began above Siyana's suspended body. Lyda peered at Siyana; she noticed the blue tail that was wrapped around her. The tail was keeping her in the air and it was connected to something above her.
"Dione," She hissed. "Don’t you ever do that to me again." Siyana's little body was pulled back above. Lyda picked up the rabbit and walked into the opening, she turned around and stared at the room that was carved from the rock above the entrance. Dione and Siyana sat there, there was room for at least three large dragons to sleep. Dione had a huge smile on his face, Siyana was happily wagging her small tail.
Lyda bent her head and laid the rabbit down on the ground. Dione grabbed Siyana with his tail and lowered her to the ground. She jumped out of his grip and bounded over to the rabbit, when she reached it she jumped on it enthusiastically. Her sharp teeth tore into its flesh and she gobbled up the bloody meat.
Dione jumped down and walked over to Lyda. He watched her slyly, making sure she did not move to hit him or yell at him. Lyda watched him closely but didn't move towards him.
He let out a sigh of relief and sat down. Siyana crunched through the rabbit's bones, the sickening sound echoed through the cave. Her claws dug into its muscles, making blood pool underneath the body.
Dione stared at Siyana, amazed. He still could not believe that he had a daughter, his own flesh and blood stood in front of him. He smiled happily and glanced at Lyda to see her reaction. She was staring at Siyana with worry on her face.
"What are you thinking?" Dione asked, putting a paw in front of her. She looked up at him and smiled a weak smile.
"I'm worried, worried how she's going to grow up, how others are going to treat her. Worried about everything." She answered staring back at her daughter. Dione put his paw on hers.
"Don't worry, I'm sure she will grow up fine and we can't be with her all the time. So we won't be able to do anything about the others, we could try-" Lyda huffed.
Dione stared down at her and sighed. "If you want we can visit the healer in the morning and ask for his help."
Lyda nodded absently she was still watching Siyana. Siyana chewed on the last bit of meat and sat down, her stomach was round from her meal. She licked the blood off her snout and yawned. Dione chuckled and Lyda walked over to her.
"For a hatchling you sure have a big appetite." She laughed and picked her up by her neck. Lyda carried Siyana over to the sleeping nest above the entrance and jumped up to it. She laid down and put Siyana beside her. Siyana happily curled up to her and fell asleep, she enjoyed the warmth that was given off from her mother.
Dione leaped into the nest as well and laid down beside Lyda, he made sure Siyana was in the middle of them and that she had enough room to move. He laid his head on Lyda's back and smiled at her.
"I love you." He said to her.
"I love you too." Lyda smiled and closed her eyes, drifting off to sleep. Dione looked down at his daughter and mate, he smiled. He closed his eyes and fell asleep as well.
