Well . . . I sort of pity Ember because she is the "Eponine" in the love triangle . . . I guess if she really loves Spyro, its wouldn't be so bad if they ended up together.

By the way Eponine is a character from "Les Miserables" who loves a man named Marius, but he loves a girl named Cosette. Eponine ends up leading Marius to Cosette despite her own feelings. She dies at the barricade after being shot. Marius holds her in his arms as she dies.
This is even sadder if you listen to the songs "on my own" and "a little fall of rain", which Eponine sings.

Ember and Cynder are both owned by Elora.

Have you even played an actual game with Elora in it? She's irritated because she's surrounded by a bunch of moronic boys. If I were in her situation, I would be too.

Elora has authority, and tries to do what is best for Avalar. Sure, she maybe sometimes bossy but she does a good job at getting it done. Her temper is a flaw. :D

I don't see that at all. Spyro was sort of "bossed" into saving Avalar (no one asked "Will you help?", he was just told the story (in part), given a guide and told to reach Summer Forest.) but that was just an excuse to get things going. A dragon like Spyro is the only one who can save Avalar, and he already has experience in the hero department, not to mention the fact that Ripto's Rage would be boring if he didn't become the hero. Besides, Spyro is a good guy, he would have helped anyway. Has anyone seen any post saying Spyro is selfish and jerkish? I have. Would a selfish jerk leave a suffering world/country like Avalar at the mercy of a ruthless dictator like Ripto just so they could go on a themepark vacation? I think not. Elora was very greatful to Spyro for all his hard work, and Spyro was greateful for being appreciated. True they both act a little snippy occassionally, but that happens in times of stress. Spyro's got whole worlds to save, and Elora has watched her people suffer at Ripto's hands for a month and is anxious because everything Avalarians hold dear rests on one small dragons shoulders. I imagine such a burden weighs heavily on Spyro too, despite his toughness.

It's better than Cynder. Besides I don't see enough gay relationships in videogames. Ember's cute, but at least flame isn't girly, and he seems like he can fight. He also doesn't seem like he'd be a ***** or uncertain about so much like Cynder.

Spyro is a game for kids. Do what you want in fandom, but leave homosexuallity out of the equasion in cannon.

Wow, I leave for a couple of weeks and this thread goes crazy...moreso.

Some folks just don't like Elora's straightforward, "can do!" attitude. I, for one, love her for that since she didn't just stand by and do nothing (Ember) or run away/get kidnapped (Cynder) like other girls. Also, faun/dragon is one of those great fantasyland interracial pairings that should be acknowledged more.

But to each his own.

As a tribute to faun/dragon stuff, I made one of my characters based off of my friends a faun while my self-based character, Cookie, is a dragon. Also, about four others were made centaurs.

I have tons of faun/dragon pairings in my original works and I'm going to be playing a faun-like Tiefling in an upcoming D&D game. Honestly, I think I like fauns more than dragons.

I think that Cynder is more serious and down-to-earth than Ember.

Spyro deserves her.

Cynder is better cause Ember is really creepy looking with all the creepy hearts and pink is a very bad color for a dragon.

I've read so much fanfiction I could almost say ember but nope cynder ember and flame are one of my fav couples other than Spyro cynder I even did a little fanfic myself about it

I have played it. But theres no proof of Spyro loving her back.

Also it's so rushed! Maybe Ember was pushy but SxC was completely forced. At least SpyroxEmber/SpyroxElora aren't cannon so the fans can choose. But with SxC you can't deny it! We're all stuck with it including those who can't stand it!

There is no SxC. There is no proof of Spyro loving Cynder back, but there is proof of Cynder loving Spyro.
