ANB is boring once you complete it and replay. I mean, you carry over your powers, and you CAN get bored of them.

I think once the movie hits theaters (that is if it does) and a new game is released, I'll be playing more of him.

Right now I haven't touched my PS2 in weeks... the only Spyro game that I've recently have been playing is Season of Ice.

I kinda agree with that, there was a lot more stuff to do in the older series.
I just enjoy TLOS series more as its the type of game i like, although they can get boring after a while due to the lack of activities.
In the older series you had puzzles and all that.
I's say i'm more of a TLOS fan more than the Originals, but i give both series a fair shake. If it werent for the originals people, Spyro probablly wouldnt have started off, think about that before anyone criticises it.

Good story x Mediocre gameplay = Not good game

A GOOD game doesn't always have a great story. Hell, some of the greatest games don't even HAVE a story.

Yes, I am quite bored with Spyro at the moment. Mostly because there's so much great content out there right now.

I'm seriously bored with Spyro. Still love the games, but I've played them so much I'm sick of him.

^ well number 1)maybe ignitusforever thought it would be a good game befor she bought the game, and then she thought the others would be more fun then the first one she bought so she bought other ones. or number 2) they were fun to her at first then she got bored of them.but that might not be the reasons.

I don't get a chance to play it much, but I do think it's gone downhill lately.

To be honest, there's not a lot you can do with Spyro anymore. At least, this is coming from a guy who has little to no experience in game design. :P Point being, I just don't see what else they can add beyond new breaths. Plus, I'm more worried about gameplay and story. But still, Spyro is one of my favorite characters and I would hate to see him go. Without the purple dragon, I wouldn't be into the mythological creatures, let alone be writing a book. Spyro, you're a literary hero!

Go read a book, playing is for games, stories are for books. And while you're looking at books, pick up a grammar book. I have a feeling it will help some issues that many people on this website have problems with (English).

The whole internet is plagued with bad English, at least he's decent.

Because i play it alot i sometimes get bord. But its very rear

My statement was that video games don't ALWAYS or REQUIRE great plots. If the gameplay is great, and the story is at least decent, that can make a great game. If the story is even better, bonus points. But if the story is considered very good, but the gameplay is monotonous, then that's a poor game.

A game is defined as an activity to have fun. But a story doesn't always come out of it, if you get what I mean.

Tetris was one of the greatest games of all time. But where's the story? There isn't any, but its still awesome. So as I said before, a game DOESN'T require a best selling story to be great.
