Because it's the best LoS couple there is. And, no, I'm not joking here.

So, are there any other Cynder/Sparx fans around? I find them to be a much more interesting couple than the usual fan favorite pairing for the series. They're interesting together from a physical perspective, the games provide just as much evidence for them to be a couple as they do for anything else, and their personalities clash in hilarious ways.

I'm tempted even to write a serious Cynder/Sparx story. But, in the mean time, have some art!

Nope, because I don't recall ever seeing that before. I'm an unstoppable crack shipper and I thought the pairing had some merit as far back as ANB (which I played before TEN came out).

I support Sparx/Cynder! As you said, it could be pretty interesting. I've written a oneshot for the pairing just to annoy my Spyro/Cynder rabid friend I might post it later, its not very goot right now.

It's great art, by the way, but I personally am not with CynderXSparx, because Sparx is too good for her , though I must take my hat off to you because it's far better than stupid SpyroXCynder .

I actually don't see the hate on both sides. Sparx acts like he doesn't like Cynder, but she did nearly kill him and made him look like a fool by proving that he was scared of her. Cynder never seemed to have any animosity towards Sparx, though. And don't forget that Sparx did reconcile with her near the end of DotD.

I can still see Cynder/Sparx working out in the long run. Unlike Shenzi/Timon, Cynder is not a predator of Sparx's species.

I dunno... Seems like Cynder and Sparx have a lot in common on the "annoying character" front. His voice matches her personality!

Well, Sparx DOES call Cynder sexy in the first game. ;D

That's how it seems, but like SpyroCrazy, said, there's a thing called love hate relationships.

It could be extrapolated that Sparx hides his feelings for Cynder by acting like he hates her. Like I said, she made him look the fool by scaring him, so of course he's angry about that. A lot of young boys express interest in girls they like by teasing them or being mean. And, of course, we can't forget that he's the only character in the entire series to admit that Cynder is sexy (which is really strange for a dragonfly to say if you think about it, but says a lot about Sparx ).

On Cynder's end of things, she never seemed to hate Sparx as far as I remember. She was just sad around him and occasionally got snippy in times of stress (which can only be expected from a hardened warrior who wants the noisy bug to be quiet when stealth is needed). Of course, all of her snippiness was in DotD only, so that should be taken with a grain of salt (snippiness was pretty much her only emotion in that entire game).

But we won't go there. I suppose it could work in that argumentitive kind of way. It's a lot more interesting than SpyroxCynder.

Since this forum has a lot of kids on it, I'm not going into the details of how their physical relationship might not work. That's not appropriate conversation in places like this.

But, as far as we know, LoS dragons don't even reproduce the way creatures on our planet do. They don't have any visible reproductive organs and they live in a world full of magic where the dead turn into gems. In the old games, baby dragons were brought to the Dragon Realms by fairies, so anything is possible. Just use your imaginations, guys. Besides, a real relationship isn't about just baby making.
