I see we have a topic for everything else about the games but nothing on favorite background music pieces, which are like, 60% of the game experience...

So I made a topic to discuss it.

The best background music is the Valley of Avalar music in DotD aka A New Beginning theme song

^As currently, my favorites would be Twilight Harbor, The High Plains (from ANB, if it's different for the others), the stuff of Cynder's Castle and her battle theme (I arranged a bit more of a kick-butt version of it using just an orchestra only as opposed to choir, it's actually more brutal that way). There's some others, but I can't think of them. There's even one from my the GBA games (I think season of flame), considering I really didn't like those because of the gwaky gameplay.

Ah yes, how can I forget the epic Cynder battle music. It's my 2nd favorite song.
I really want to play it now!

I liked Winter Tundra music, I forget the rest though.

I played only originals and ANB, so my favorite is STD music. That music reminds me of Spyro like nothing else, it's perfect. GTG music is pretty too, homeworlds especially. In YotD I think I really liked the track in Buzz's Lair or so, and some others. In ANB that one at the opening, it's awesome, and Tall Plains. I don't remember all now.

i like the theme when you are battling the enemies on the destroyer in DOTD. It just seemed....i dunno catchy? i also liked the valley of avalar theme when you have to find the hermit, burned lands and twilight falls.

i havnt played the originals in aaaggggggeeess so i have to try and find them. xD

I liked the music when you fight with Golen in the level "Attack Of The Golen"

Yeah, I like a lot of Copeland's tracks. And some of the ANB/TEN tracks are good. DotD is not that great of a score IMO and unfortunately my liking of Copeland's tracks diminished slightly due to the awesomeness of David Bergeaud's scores for the Ratchet & Clank series. <.<;

Well considering Copeland's style (he can be a living drum machine... all to literally too [he once provided a steady rhythmic pattern for over 2 minutes]), it's kind of easy to find someone you like better...

Anyway, concerning the Legends, does Mr. Mann do the orchestrations, or do they both do them?

Oh, I love the music in Twilight Falls in DOTD.

The orchestrations are composed by Gabriel Mann and arranged by Gabriel Mann and Rebecca Kneubuhl. At least, that's what iTunes says. <.<;

I really like most all of the songs from the first Spyro.

I also like the music it plays when Ignitus is teaching Spyro to fly on ANB. Alas, I don't know what that track is called.

DOTD:I like Twighlight Falls,The Floating Islands, and the second music piece in The Valley of Avalar!

I also like Cloud Spires from YODT

And I like Wizard Peak in the first Spyro game....!DD

Oh yeah! The Floating Islands music was cool, too! Almost forgot about that.

You idiot, that doesn't even come from Spyro. Hell, Spyro wasn't even made then.

Replaying YotD, and I gotta say, Spike's Arena and the Midday Gardens music is very nice. <3
