Heard of the person who got three Zune tatoos only to end up hating the Zune and then hating himself and blaming Microsoft?

It looks cute now... But if it's permanent, it's stuck for life. So think: Would you like it on your skin after a year? For 5 years? Ten years? 20 years? 40? 80? For life?

Because when you're 25 and no one even remembers what the heck a Spyro is, you'll be smacking yourself in the face.

Guys, quit ragging on him. He's a legal adult and able to make his own decisions with what goes on his body. There's nothing wrong with body art and "Well, I don't like it" is not a valid reason for anyone to not get ink, especially when you're people on the Internet whom he will likely never meet in person.

I think this is pretty awesome, AssassinTyler. smilie Just make sure it's absolutely what you want, because you'll have this tattoo for a long time. And be sure to do your research on the place you want this done. Make sure they're clean, that they don't reuse needles, and that all of their health code and license information is up to date.

As for the image to use, well, what are you looking for? I know where you can see the original concept art and designs for classic Spyro (some of which are pretty awesome *points to user icon*). I can also help you find more of his official model designs (check the galleries in all of the Insomniac game areas of this site for some good official art of Spyro, for a start).

I'm considering getting an Elora tattoo myself, though I'm not sure if I want that to be my first tattoo. smilie Not sure where I'd get it, either. I'd love to be able to see it, but there's only so much real estate on my left arm and I'd like to save it for a more personal symbol. I'm open to suggestions if anyone wants to make them.

I wouldnt get a tatoo, cause this person at my moms work had one on her foot and she was allergic to the ink. Her foot swelled up really big and she was really un well.

That's why you should always do your research before having any sort of body art done.

^ My point exactly. You never know what'll happen. People do go off things. I wouldn't get a tattoo anyway... the fact that it's permanent puts me off completely, and they look awful when they turn green.

Oiy...

Spyro isn't just for kids. It was made by adults and intended for gamers of all ages. I'm 27 and I still love the games. There's nothing wrong with an adult enjoying stuff that is marketed towards kids. How do you think animators start out?

As for tattoos, a lot of you are very misinformed about them. Tattoos don't turn green over time. Earlier in history, the only ink color was green, so all tattoos were that color. Modern tattoo ink is durable and long-lasting. The worst that happens with it is that it may fade a little over time, in which case, you can always get it touched up.

Regarding the people who get tattoos, it's a brave and distinguishing thing to do. Very few people have the guts to get a tattoo at all. If he likes dragons and Spyro is his favorite dragon, why shouldn't he get a tattoo of him? He's a legal adult, he's thought about this, and you guys aren't giving him any good reasons not to do this, you're just preaching your opinions at him.

Keep in mind that some of you might grow up to want tattoos. I didn't want any when I was a kid, but as I got older, I did start getting interested in them. The only reason I don't have one now is because I can't afford it yet.

Um...look, you a really going to regret this. Spyro is a three plus game for tiny kids, and when you're 30 you are going to wish so hard you hadn't done it. It'll get to the point where it'll go green and blobby. A dragon will be ok (as tattoos go) but Spyro.

God.

But I suppose it's you're decision...

*groan* Hello, adults can play kids' games and love them. As previously stated, where do you think game designers and animators come from and what do you think they do on their free time? I'm 27 and I still love the old Spyro games and a lot of other things made for kids. Stuff aimed at adults isn't always as fun.

Please don't assume that everyone who gets a tat is going to regret it.

And I'm 21 and I love Spyro. I have since I was tiny and he'll always have a place in my blackened heart :3 Anyway I was going to dig up this picture I'd seen a few years ago of a girl's tiny Spyro tattoo holding a rose in his mouth but I couldn't find it. It was actually *really* cute.
