I did like Cynder in ANB and TEN. If you saw the deleted cutscene, she seemed fun loving and cool.

Now she's bratty, and her DOTD fantards really annoy me.

It wasn't a deleted scene, it was an advertisement short made by Krome Studios for TEN. And TEN Cynder didn't sound emotionless with Mae Whitman as her voice actress, and she had a better personality in that cartoon short too.

Mae Whitman and Cree Summer rocks as TEN Cynder and ANB Cynder respectively.

Oh I agree, her voice suited her perfectly, she was just a cute, character with an interesting, dark personality.

Now she's like..a shell of the Krome Cynder. Like someone stated before (not sure who) they should have let Krome finish TLOS.

Krome Cynder should definitely come back in the next Spyro game, with the same personality she had in the TEN cartoon short, but with Mae Whitman as her voice actress.

Krome were better with characters and storylines- however I HATED their gameplay.

I DOTD cynder makes a lot more sense.

how come you always go along with teen cynders design and atttitude?, mabye cynder just wanted to add a little light in her life and forget the whole thing? also i dont get teen cynder either, her attitude turns sassy and enthusiastic. although i like teen cynder

The Cynder in my AU is dark, rebellious, and bold.

Oh, Sethisto. We all know you'll do anything to justify DotD Cynder simply because you find her more attractive. And there's nothing wrong with that. However, your logic here is a bit off.

Cynder was twelve. Even children who have been tortured have times when they like to be kids and play. The scene in the short film was one such time. Cynder felt relatively safe in the Temple and let some of her guard down, though not all of it as we see immediately when he accidentally summons Gaul.

Really, if DotD Cynder is what you like, this isn't the thread for you. Go to the other 8027 threads about her. This is the place for Krome Cynder fans, of which there are few.

As for the topic itself, I guess you could still say that I like Krome Cynder. I'm not really a Cynder fan of any sort these days, but Krome gave her a better personality and a much more interesting character design (backwards wing blades FTW!). And I loved both Cree Summer and Mae Whitman as her voice.

Krome Cynder, with her wing blades curved inwards, has a small beak and not an avian-like mouth, a ridge of connected, white, spikey horns on the back of her neck instead of spikes, she should at least have these back in the next Spyro game. That's her correct design.

She should have the same personality she had from TEN, still confused about her purpose and destiny after she was freed from the Dark Master's evil influence at the end of A New Beginning, and unsure about befriending other characters who had feared and hated her while she was under Malefor's control..

I didn't like how in DOTD, she showed no signs off being sad about her past. The only time when Cynder gets sad about her past is when the Hermit comes in. But she gets over it as soon as the Hermit disappears. ._.

Uh...that didn't really resolve anything since I have no idea if "desing" is even a word. Unless you meant "design" and combining the two designs, which I did once and it doesn't help. The big problem with DotD Cynder isn't just her design, it's her personality (or lack thereof) and role in the story.

No, there will be no Cynder having a body mixed between her TEN form and DotD form.

This is a thread for Krome Cynder, not Krome-EL Cynder, so it's really a moot discussion.

And why on earth would we want to combine Krome and DotD Cynder's personalities? That's like mixing dirt into your chocolate pie. D:

The biggest reasons why people don't like DotD Cynder are her obnoxious personality and her design.

And Krome Cynder didn't have any negative side of her fandom.

Oh, she did, but they were mostly just emo kids and those you find everywhere and they're not particularly annoying or in the majority.

Yeah, wish it would've remain that way until probably the end of the trilogy. Krome Cynder will never be forgotten, unless they, I don't know, have her reappear with the same personality she had in TEN with no body others drool over.

It would only make Cynder worse anyways if they mixed TEN Cynder with her corrupted DotD counterpart. Ugh... Think about two different personalites in one video game character, and those personlites keep switching between each other by that character during the storyline of a Spyro game. That wouldn't make any sense.

Krome Cynder should definitely deserve more attention, if they bring her back in the next Spyro game, which I hope Mike will bring her back.

I miss ANB Cynder... I want her to be in the next game, but I don't think she will.... Unless Spyro and Cynder are fully grown. But I don't want that to happen...

Me too, maybe through some way we can show Mike Graham how much we want the old Cynder back. Like a big picture of combined concept art, pictures, and fanart of Krome Cynder all merged into one big poster.

Meh, I could worry less about trying to Mike what you want, since Activision has the final word in his case.

It was just a suggestion. Besides, Mike is in charge of Spyro, not Activision. Activision is just going to publish the next game anyways, and hopefully not make changes in the game with their ideas.

Back on topic:
Krome Cynder should come back.

Yes. But that won't happen. Unless somebody can adapt the Krome Engine of the first two LoS games to make their own fan game. e_e
