They ruined his voice too! He sounds so old and worn out! Three years shouldn't make such a huge difference to a person's personality or voice.

He was voiced by the same voice actor he had in the previous two LoS games. They planned to have more dialogue in the game, between Volteer, Sparx, and Cyril, but they didn't have time to add them in.

Another reason why Krome should have made it! I hear they were almost done by the time they switched to EL. They probably would have had time to add dialogue, fix plotholes and ****y personalities, and generally make the game NOT suck if they hadn't switched to EL.

I find it sad. Volteer or Cyril said nothing in the DS version of DotD. There weren't any artwork of the two, either. Only Ignitus and Terrador..

thre was too much of smily iggy and terrador isnt the talky kind thay needed more long thesurasy and complicated words for volteer and cyril wasnt posh enough for my liking

Volteer's my favourite guardian, then Cyril, then Ignitus, then Terrador.

Though the gap between Cyril and Ignitus is a fair bit big.

Yeah it was OOC. Volteer can barely keep his mouth shut! And he sounded so old and worn. I didn't think three years would do that to him.

One thing that i noticed is that in ANB volteer and cyril were big characters then in TEN they barely got parts then in DOTD they got to say one sentence in the whole game, they gradually started useing them less and less each game.
