It bugs me when ppl say Classic Spyro sucks just because of the graphics! Or who constantly insult the graphics of the oldies. Those ppl fail to realize the time in which those games were made and the limited resources avaliable to the maker. They made the oldies look as good as possible with what they had.

I get annoyed when ppl judge games in general just by the graphics. I call those ppl "vain gamers" or "shallow gamers"; these types of ppl don't have any idea what really makes a good game.

I just had to say that...

I agree, it's the content of the game that matters, not the graphics.

I Love both the eras equaly. although i prefered TLOS series. its just my type of game, but thats my opinion. i miss the older spyros too, and some of the things in it.

I love them both as well. I miss the older games but it was interesting to see what they did with Spyro when they made the TLoS series.

Graphics don't make the game people. Why do you think so many people still give the 70s and 80s the "Golden era of Gaming" award despite everything looking like crap? Gameplay people, gameplay...

TELL THEM TO GO PLAY SOME SUPER MARIO 64. THAT IS A DAMN GOOD GAME WITH BAD GRAPHICS.

And then tell them to play The Legend of Spyro.

They'll like Super Mario 64, and barf on LoS.

No, they need to play something WAY older... a 70s or 80s arcade game. After a while, they'll hate the consoles and want the arcades back.

Do great graphics make a great game? No, no they do not. I have more fun playing crappy, cartridge-based N64 games than I do playing the stupid disc-based software of the PSX. <.<;

They were great for it's time. People forget that these are 90s games.

Seriously, do some people forget that games existed before they were even born? I wonder what they would say about Spacewar!, Mouse in the Maze, and Pong (all of which are fairly casual too).

Another thing that bugs me is when ppl make a fan character that is a rip off of an orignal character. I also hate it when they recolor or redesign a screenshot to fit their fan character or world.

(considering Arthur isn't even a Spyro dragon to begin with...)
