So let me make it a mess like I always do;

First off, EVERYONE, yes, that includes you in the back in the green hat, has a sexual fetish/fantasy, it's only human nature. HOWEVER, what makes it a bad or good thing is how you act about it. Not everyone wants to hear about it or see it, so don't go around preaching about it, as well as to force others to like it or think of it as better as what they think.

Next off, biology is a thing that's complicated. It's actually true that a normal healthy human being grows out of their goofy chubbiness, but the key ingredient to that is lifestyle. I wouldn't expect some lazy kid who never eats properly to grow up taller and skinnier as opposed to one who's active (and those who are extremely active may grow up taller and muscular too, but there's a ton of variables here). Hell, even that lazy kid can become skinny if situations in the body system work differently. But the whole point is that YES, KIDS DO CHANGE WHEN THEY GET OLDER.

Finally, Big Ego =/= Good thing.

Hopefully that can get some people in the right directions.

As for video game characters, well, they're not real.

Of course, if I pulled something like that, I would be in deep crap and on the rails of fails because it's something that nobody really cares to hear about nor wants to always hear about.

Look, there's a time and a place for everything. I could see SpyroLUVA's point in this area as it is a topic about which is your favorite form of Cynder. However, Mr. Sethisto should also understand that we don't want to know everything about his fantasies, you just don't do that.

This is why so many people hate furries, fetish artists, and sexually-overcharged people in the first place; they just can't stop talking about what turns them on and how everyone else should call what they call sexy.

Look, I know liking fictional characters isn't 100% healthy, but it is normal. After all, if you like a character with specific physical attributes and personality quarks, you can then transpose those into real life and maybe find somebody who wants to be friends/lovers with you.
