Blocking [CLOSED]

I was thinking that it would be cool if we could block users from the indevidual topic we make, but not altogether. Also, the users we block altogether could no longer post on any of our topics. Also, they could not read the posts we make on other topics. (not sure about that one) I suggest this because I notice some fight happen in the threads, not in guestbooks, and In my case not in PMs either. What do you think?

I thik you're spamming now. Why all the spaced? Is the truth of why this was denied really that bad?

I suggested the same thing, although:

That's unlikely to happen Robo-Spyro, it's going a bit too far.

I agree with dark with that. I would like to be able to block a user's posts from our view unless we choose to read it, though.

If this was enabled, then certain users will no longer have to be banned.

I very disagree with it, a lot of the users here don't like being wrong.

Maybe someone experienced with GreaseMonkey can write an ignore script. Then install it on Firefox 3, input the names of the people you'd like to disappear and they're gone!

I'm not to sure about blocking them from topics and forums but stopping them from PMing you and posting in guestbook might be a good idea

Hey, it'd stop some of the younger members from having those stupid insult-wars.

You and I can at least bicker at each other intelligently. [User Posted Image]

Not all of us are great with making programs and such. I even have to find a guide every time I wanna script most HTML.

I can't code at all (save for very basic ones).

If anyone is reading that knows Greasemonkey scripting, could you please make a post blocking script?

Eh what? How is blocking someone from posting with a FF plug in work?

There was a greasemonkey script that you put in the user's names in the block list then it would remove the posts you don't want to see. Sure they can post, but you can't see them.

I am thinking about making it so that you can ignore somebody's posts completely, but blocking people from posting in topics is not something that I think would be any help at all.

If for any reason you're not completely satisfied, I hate you.
