But her personality was so sudden. I mean, she was still supposed to be sad and remorseful about what she did while under Malefor's influence like she was in TEN, and she didn't show any of that during DotD.

Yeah probably, and having a movie star, like Christina Ricci who's an inexperienced voice actor for an animated character, voicing Cynder, was a bad idea.

Let's see: Elijah Wood = Big Nerd Gary Oldman = Good Actor, can fake an American accent, but he's specialized in working in front of a camera, not a microphone. David Spade = Funnier in live action. Christina Ricci = Young inexperienced actress who's not a big nerd. And the "nobodies" are like: Billy West/Cree Summers = Screwball comedians Mark Hamhill = Used to play good guys as an actor but liked to be bad guys when it came to voice acting. And a comedian in some ways... Scott O'Neil = Did a lot of voice acting for video games... Anyone else I forgot = I forgot and should do my research... So we have actors who aren't trained in voice acting and are more of an ink-suit actor thing being grouped with voice actors who mostly worked in comedy shows... No wonder the voice acting never fits!! =P |

There was a Batman Beyond movie from 2000 on tonight. I'm surprised Mark Hamill had voiced the Joker in it. I thought he'd stopped doing the Joker WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY back in the 90s. <.<;

And I noticed that Christina Ricci had the highest score on being Cynder's voice actor Cynder in a past poll on here.

But I thought Cree Summers was better...
I don't know about you, but I agree with Billy West on the whole issue with having Hollywood actors being voices for characters in cartoons and video games; it's ridiculous because voice acting is such a totally different thing than regular acting... |

Cree Summer and Mae Whitman were the only ones who voiced Cynder way better than Christina Ricci, in my opinion.
