or is DotD better on DS then on the console in your oponion? It is in mine. To be truly honest, when I play DotD on Wii, it not for very long, until I starts to get bored with it. When I play it on DS, I find it more exciting, and the boss battles are harder. Malefor on console is a totally pushover in my oponion, and I only died twice, because of pressing wrong button in the death scenes. Tho, on DS, Malefor is not hard, but his a bit more challenging, plus he has a final form there, actully, that earns him more the title as "The Dark Master" and the final boss of the whole series. In console, both Cynder and Gaul are harder then him. I died alot more with them, then with him, epsecially when I faced Gaul.

End of rant.

I can agree on the DS thing... Even if it did take me two hours on my first try to complete.

Malefor took me a heck of alot longer to kill on the DS version and his "final form" was awesome IMO.

Can't get a picture. I do not have the DS version due for the fact that I cannot switch to Cynder.

EDIT: This video contains it. xD

I agree! He was alot more "Dark Master" worthy on DS.

Bad guys with a final form are awesome! They're also a little bit harder and everything. Which makes them fun to battle. I usually died alot due to that final battle. x3

Plus, Cynder was black/dark-gray in the DS version. I find the DS version lots of fun, even though it took me the whole weekend to get through.

And the cutscene artwork! For some reason, I just really like Tantalus's design. If there is another Spyro game and it comes out for the DS too, I hope Tantalus returns to develop it!

The bosses are challenging! The Golem killed me more than 20 times during when I first encountered him when I flew through the valley. The Heart of the Destroyer was tough, but I handled it. Just switch dragons for strategy, and you'll do fine. Malefor, I actually like him battling in 2-D. XD I like to swipe at him.

For some reason, when I go through The Burned Lands reminds me of some of the levels on TLK for the NES/Sega/PC exc. I guess it's because of the 2-Dness, lava, and platforming. :3

I have it for PS2 and the DS and I agree that if a new Spyro game is made for the DS that Tantalus will return to develop it. The controls for the DS version of DotD were a little frustrating at times but for the most part it was a decent game, certainly alot better than TLOS: TEN was for the DS.

The DS version looks much, much, better. That's saying a lot coming from me too, considering the fact that I hate most handhelds.

I have to give credit to the DS version. It is similar to ANB in that it is definitely better than its console compatriots and less frustratingly bad than TEN for the DS.

The fact that the bosses are more challenging then in the console, is the main reason I like the DS version ALOT better. Especially when I think of how easy Malefor was on PS2 and Wii.

I didn't die once, I thought he was TOO easy >.>
I generally play harder games than Spyro, though, so that could be why I find it easy. If you only play games similar to tLoS, then yeah it's gonna seem hard.

Same. TEN was a bit of a hitch though. Well, that was before I played DJMP1 and then DJMP2.

I remember thinking ANB and TEN were too hard when I first got them, but that's because Spyro was the closest I had ever come to serious gaming at the time.
Now, as I've stated before, I can beat both in 2 hours (each) no cheats, fresh file.

I did so that I got behind him and attacked him there. It best to use fear with Cynder or electrcity with Spyro, since it damage and paralyze him. Thats how I defeatet him so easily.
