I'm having trouble with the avatar thing! [CLOSED]

I'm trying to upload an avi to see if it works, but it keeps saying Error: Invalid file name, please remove any illegal characters such as ', \, /, :, *, ?, ", <, >, or | thank you.

How am I supposed to remove that? smilie It's always there!

maybe the picture you are uploading has one of those characters in it..? xD

I know that. smilie I just don't know how to get rid of it. smilie The file name dosen't have any of those characters until I select the file. smilie

Rename the avatar so that the filename is shorter.
