Who says that 3 years in spyro's world is 3 years in Earth? [CLOSED]

Literally the topic says it all. I keep on hearing that the characters looked to old for 3 years to pass and i was just thinking. What if 1 year in Avalar is 10 years in Earth, is there any place that says specifically about that?

there have always been concepts of interplanitary time differences let alone interdimension diferences! so this is extremely plausible... basically people should stop whining about oh it snot right this and loop hole that. this is a very good point. and also, its creative fiction, anything can happen if the author says so!!!

Well, one year is the time it takes for the planet to revolve around the sun, so maybe their planet is farther away. Looked like Earth to me, though.
