I think she's cute. Her new looks is funny and different.

But I have a compleatly different opinion on her owner, VioletDragoness. She's imature and rude. If anyone as much as MENTIONS that they dislike Violet, she starts a flame-war. I try to stay on her good side(I hate flame-wars), but GOODNESS it hurts me, when she's so mean.

People can lie about what they're thoughts were on a character. If her character was made WAY before Cynder showed up, I think some of us would have had second thoughts.

When i made my charicter it was just a head start becouse i was using SFRB's pretty wittle Cynder DRess UP!x3

I agree with several other people on this topic... who the eff is Violet? Where did you people hear about her in the first place?

PS... YES, some people CAN come up with dragons who are completely unrelated to Spyro. Take me for example... Tobyas. Raizel. Ansel. Cuffi. Sekoiya(ME). Kaedo. Kraeda. Garwhyde. Sabur. Kaital. SarhGreba. Spurdoc. Metal Wings.

I was looking in her gallery and she's improved a tiny bit but just a few things have been shifted around.

Being an enemy-turned-friend of Violet's creator, I find it pointless and mean-spirited that everyone keeps bashing on her. It's not like anyone else is that much more original, and Violet went on to come into her own as well as any fan character can be expected.

Trust me, I have seen way more original, and I don't have a problem with the creator, I'm just not a big fan of all the agknowlagement the character gets when she's not even all that original.

Mary-sues become well-known for some reason.

A lot of Violet's fame came from her creator, who made a lot of videos and, in her early days, joined forums just to talk about Violet. One of her videos is, in fact, how the two of us clashed. After that, she stopped being so pushy with her creations. She's also got a Violet-centered comic going, which I have yet to read.

I think my initial fight with her may have brought some attention to Violet as well, as did the subsequent spite art and later friendly art.

And then threads like this show up, which only get more people interested in Violet...

And if you wish to share your opinion you should just put it on your anouncments and get it over with (or sig) but other then that we should just close this topic and get on with our buisness....

I personally know Violet. And I'm just insulted. What you never realize is not the character but her story. The next generations purple dragon, a new threat, etc. Now it is filled with cleches like how hse has a dark form, the new threat is a relative (anybody say, other evil brother), a rebellion, etc.

But What I'd like to say. Who else here has a fan dragon that gets so much respect that it gets its own comic book, and a youtube movie deal (Thanks to yours truely. Coming soon... At some point).

And just putting logic in there. Female dragons all have a cynder design (never saw any other female dragons in Spyro)

The idea of a new threat and another purple dragon is so chiche, there are MILLIONS of stories about a new purple dragon!

Also, joining forums just to get your character recognized is kinda begging for fame, doncha think?

There was Ember. And not all female dragons have to look like Cynder or even be somewhat Spyro-based, I've seen many artists prove that.

Anyways, yes, not all female dragons look like Cynder... in fact, I'd say the Cynder-shaped dragonesses have only started to become more popular since Legend of Spyro. There are more non-Cynderish dragonesses than Cynderish ones, I'm sure (just look at Sekoiya[me] for example... silver-blue. Furry. Feathery-membraned wings[membranes that just happen to connect all the way down the back, as is only aerodynamically correct]. Whiskers. Foxlike face and catlike eyes. NOT Cynder!).

And most dragons don't have to look like Spyro characters. Honestly... Spyro is a dragon. Which dragons did not originate with Spyro, they originated with folktales and legends. There are designs. But stealing another's design, and one from a video game at that, is pretty stupid.

It says i haveno imaganation, but seeing how Spyro alwas changes, its hard NOT to make them look like a spyr character, ya know? But you keep telling them it was made before the suposavly stolen character and bla bla bla.

Oh yeah and my friend made a purple one too but she wasn't a sue and she was named Myro. And they both fought over Spyro along with yet ANOTHER purple dragoness named Lor.
