My TRU had wave 2. They only had four Hot Heads, but they had a nice stock of everyone else. I got all of them including the reposes. Only 5-6 people there BTW

... So, I missed my chance at getting hot head today. ;~; Though, I did get LC-Jet vac, and a DS series 2. What bothers me most about this though, is right when I went to go get hot head [I saw it on the shelf!] Some big fat dude went and pushed me, and grabbed the hot head, and bought it. [This happened at TRU. :c] Like, wtf.. I could tell he was one of the losers that sell them all online 'cuz of everything within his bag. [No offense to fat people or anything, by the way. D':] Oh, also, I got L-bouncer, too. >.< So, I'm very happy about that.

My TRU Had one HOT HEAD Left and they are holding it for me till the end of the day. Im going to start by getting him and Legendary Bouncer. HOT HEADs trailer really looks sweet for gameplay. I still have to pick up the game, but I think I will start getting the figures and wait till the game is 50% off like last time. Oddly enough the lady said they did not have Sprocket or Flashwing at my TRU.

I was able to get Flashwing and Sprocket today! I put Flashwing on display with all my dragon/bird/etc Skylanders!

I'm very upset that I've had no luck with Granite Crusher...they will be restocking, right? Also, has he been able to purchase online? Maybe that will be an option for me. Thanks.

Just got back from TRU wave 2 run. First in line of about 20 people. Was there 45 min before opening. It was a cramped fight at first, but when everyone saw they had plenty of boxes things settled down a bit. Was able to get Hot Head, LC Jet-Vac, Flashwing, Sprocket, along with S2's of Stump Smash, Flameslinger, Gill Grunt, Sonic Boom, Double Trouble, Drill Sergeant, Bash, and Hex. Disappointed they didn't have the three packs, but with the 40% savings I have no reason to complain.

Here's what I have so far

Chill, Fright Rider, Pop Fizz, Flashwing, Sprocket

Swarm, Crusher, Legendary Bouncer

My TRUs is in the hood so that wasnt that busy I am surprised they are holding them for me. We will see when I go there tonight.

Is the TRU event a one day thing, or will they steadily be getting more Wave 2's until they release everywhere? Any idea when they do release all over in US?

I had classes this morning and missed my shot. I called to check on getting them held for me and they said they don't do that, then I called later and was put on hold for 30 mins just to be finally told they were all out.

This is too funy though. It is reminding me of last year when they couldnt be found anywahere and people panicing and getting in fighs over them now u see the overload of the Skylanders adventures that no one wants all indue time the same thing will happen with Giants, so for now I see no rush. I am still mad about Wham-Shell and the March 21st Fiasco. I will go to TRU tonight and see if they are telling the truth about holding them, but Activision sickens me knowingly they distribute it this was on purpose.

I agree. I am holding off on Series 2, for now at least. I am just trying to collect the new characters at a gradual pace.

My mom got almost all of Wave 2 (except for LC Jet Vac) this morning!!

Wait, some people are saying the have seen wave 2 already at TRU, but my 'sources' say they've only came out with wave one. Can someone please tell me what the released characters are?

My TRUs got only 4 Hot Heads in today. I was 5th in line, so no Hot Head for me this go round. I did pick up FWing and a few others. I also got a Legendary 3 Pack that was returned.

My dad just picked up sprocket and flashwing and saw some one with ten of each. Why scalpers why!?!?!

My TRUs was limiting one of each per buyer today. They were getting picked clean yesterday.

Yesterday at 7: 00 in the morning, a scalper grabbed three of each figure, and 5 of each starter and portal owners pack!!

I was second in line this morning at my TRU. All that ended up showing up was me and two other people. We causally chatted as the employees handed each of us a box and filled them with whatever we wanted. It was a wave 2 dream! No limits and they had boxes if everything! Not to mention piles of wave 1 as well. So needless to say I was only expecting sprocket and flashwing but loaded my box with the others i needed haha

Wave 1 was already out of production before some countries put it on the shelves. Stores in the US that did add on orders to supplement launch day figures recieved wave 2 already. At this point all reorders will be filled with wave 2 until wave 3 comes out. TRU does not have an exclusive. TRU was just the only company aware enough to promote and capitilize on this. As stores from all countries exhaust wharehouse supplies from initial orders expect to see more and more wave 2. I also expect that wave 3 will be released around Black Friday containing a mixture of new releases and wave 1 rereleases.

So the wave 2 thing for TRU was not some special "limited" teaser release of the 2nd wave? I'm thinking that Activision has a pretty good idea of how much they need to produce for the entire series including the first waves that are slated for the Christmas holiday shopping season. I'll be suprised if we experience another form of "shortage" considering how full the shelves are right now.

I'm expecting another wave too before Christmas because on how early wave 2 was released. I'm sure Activision wants to maximize the holiday sales but I do hope that the last wave before Christmas do come with plenty of supply. I hate it when only certain stores get stock of the last releases before Christmas is over and I'd be stucking getting the figures from ebay.

I never found any chase figure but would love to. Do we know the rarity of the stone characters?

I don't care when they release wave 3, as long as we get a legit confirmation date of its release. :c It's gonna be hard enough for me to get the rest of wave 2... </3 Also, the 4 new sidekicks.. Mini-jini, Barkley, Eye-Small, and Thumpling.. I hope they are as easy to get as the last 4 sidekicks. :/ Those Giant-Sidekicks look SOOO much cuter than the other 4.. Mainly Thumpling, lol. They've already got spots for them on Universe, so they may come out soon. Dunno.. Also, target doesn't even have any of wave 2 available. Like, they said they didn't have any in the back either. They said they'd have them in November. x.x

Whos got to be nuts to spend 500.00 on these things again there about 60 figures? Wait till there giving them away. I have come to a conclusion. I dont burn my hand in the fire twice. So glad I bailed on my original set in time, but sadly stuck with 22

Went to TRU at 5pm and they still had Sprocket on the pegs. Also picked up all of Series 2 wave 2 figures.

^ all i was able to get today was hot head, i perordered sprocket and flashwing on tru.com and received an email on the 21st that they were backordered assuming they would be shipped the 22nd, however i got no email confirmation today that they shipped so i'm trying to find them in stores.

^ Mine only had a few hot head. They were trying to pawn flashwing off on people walking in. what state are you in? Maybe its regional? All the employees at mine said wave two will dominate their shipments after this week.

When I went to TRUs this morning, I took my Hot Toy order receipt in to ask them if I could get the BOGO 40% off on my Hot Toy order for 2 of the Legendary 3 Packs. First they said no, then a second manager came up and said that they would honor the discount and wrote a note to that effect on my receipt. I was there yesterday and could have easily picked up 2 of the 3 packs and got the discount. I was pleased with TRUs for doing the right thing.
I did pickup a 3rd 3 pack this morning that someone had returned to the store while I was there. This will make a great Christmas gift for one of my daughter's friends! I remembered that some of her friends are into Skylanders too.

Not as of right now. Stores are a lot more prepared and most have overstocked with new figures. Hothead and Granite Crusher might be the only two I heard of being hard to find.
