Starfire was still unconcious. Fireflight was barely breathing.

Nightfire walked over to Starfire and returned to normal.
'Starfire? I need you.....'

Starfire slowly opened her eyes.
"........wheres......the Source......? is he.......dead....?" she asked.

'No, but i need you. He's taken your mom somewhere, but i need your empath powers to get to her.....'

Starfire jumped up. she looked mad. she started glowing red.
"What?!!! he took me mom?!!! he'll pay for that!!!!"

'Starfire! calm down! Im angry too, but we need to find him first!'

Starfire tried to calm down. she stopped glowing.
"i'm sorry.........i'm an empath....i can't help it......" she said. then she started glowing purple. "ok.....now i'm glowing the right color.....hold onto me...we're going to him!"

Nightfire grabbed hold of her.
'Ok, im right beside you'

then Starfire glowed more purple. then they were taken right outside an old city. Starfire looked around.
"ok.......where are we? i don't see my mom, or the Source........."

Nightfire looked around.
'I dont know why, but be careful.......you can never be sure about places like these...'

Starfire walked up to a large iron gate. there was a large lock on it. it couldn't be opened from the outside. then Starfire froze it with ice, then she broke it with earth.
"well, that was easy" she said. then she walked inside.

'Be carefull.....' He said as he entered looking round.

"i'll be fine" she said. she walked around, looking all around. the city was desserted. then suddenly, a large black dragon swooped down, grabbed Starfire, and started to fly away. Starfire then stabbed him with her tail. he yelled in pain, and dropped her.

Nightfire ran over.
'Are you ok?!'

Starfire got up, and looked at him.
"i'm fine. i can take care of myself...." she said as she walked along. then the dragon came at her again. he grabbed her, and started to fly away again. Starfire glowed red this time. she used an empath rage fury on him, and killed him. then she landed on the ground.

'It doesnt look like it, be carefull. the Source wants you, but i dont think its good....'

"look, hes dead now. he can't get me again. besides, i'm as strong as my mom. if she can survive two attacks from a dragon slayers sword. then i can handle one dragon" she said, as she continued walking.

Nightfire followed.
'Yes, but im just being careful.' Nightfire then stopped. 'You never know who will attack or why'

then they heard a voice.
"you won't find her in time to save her!! Fireflgiht is breathing her last few breaths!!" said Belthazor.

'Starfire! Are you sure you cant try use your empath powers?! It may be our only chance!'

Starfire then started glowing. she was glowing black.
"uh oh......." she said worridly. then she disappeared.

'Starfire?!' He said, looking around him.

Starfire then appeared in a large dark room.
"welcome Starfire! welcome indeed! i knew i could trick you into letting all your emotions loose. thats not hard to do. now that your glowing black, your becomming evil! but, i'd like your little friend to watch this!" he said. then he brough Nightfire there. Starfire glowed solid black. she was turning dark. "welcome Nightfire! your here to witness the birth of a new dark dragon, Starfire!"

'You levae her alone Belthazor!!'

"i'm not doing anything! your friend here has done this all on her own! shes becomming dark, just like Fireflight did once before!" he growled. then Starfire changed to a solid black color.

'Starfire, calm down! We'll get your mom back! I promise!'

Starfire roared angerly. Belthazor laughed.
"give up Nightfire!! you've lost her to the dark side!! now, you can either join us, or die!!"

'No! My dad wouldnt join, and i never will!!'

"then, prepare to die!!!" he roared. then he threw a dragon slayers sword right at him. Starfire saw it. then she jumped in front ot it, it hit her in the chest. she changed back to normal, as she collasped to the ground.

'Starfire!!' Nightfire yelled as he picked her up. 'Are you alright?!'

Starfire looked at him. she ocughed up some blood, and was bleeding badly.
"Night........fire........save.........my.......mom.........." she said weakly. Belthazor then used his powers to bring Frostbolt there.
"i'd like you to see her die as well!!" he growled.

'........starfire..........' He said sadly, begining to get upset.

*Frostbolt runs over to Nightfire and Starfire* Listen.. i'm sorry for killing your dad...... but now is not the time for that. we need to fight together if we are going to have any chance of killing this guy. *Blows ice on Starfire's stab* that should help a little bit.... Now.. Lets fight Nightfire!

"..........i.........love..........you............" she said very weakly. then she started to close her eyes. Fireflight crawled over to them. she then started to use everything she had left to heal Starfire. Belthazor watched. he knew it wouldn't work. Fireflight ketp trying to heal her. Starfire slowly stopped bleeding.

'Starfire?!' Nightfire said with tears in his eyes.

you two need to rest....*Turns to Source* I don't know who you are... AND I DON"T CARE!!! *Flys up at Source attacks him* You... you DON"T MESS WITH MY NEW FAMILY!!!!!!! RAAA!!

Starfire's wound started to heal. then Fireflight collasped, her eyes closed. then Starfire opened her eyes.

'Starfire?' He said, begining to see her eyes open.

*Frostbolt still flying around Source and shooting icebolts at him*

Starfire looked at Nightfire.
"........how.........am i.........alive.....?" she asked confused. her wound was gone. Fireflight didn't move. belthazor threw Frostbolt agaist the wall. then he used earth, and created a cage for him.

'Your mom........saved you.....' Nightfire then looked at Fireflight. 'Fireflight?!'

LET ME OUT!!! *Beating the cage* Nightfire... I know you hate me but we have got to fight together! Get me out of here!

Fireflight didn't answer. she didn't even move. Starfire looked at her.
"........she scarcirficed herself..........to save me..........shes gone......." she said sadly.

Nightfire looked back at Starfire.
'Im....im sorry...........'

*Frostbolt countinuing to beat the cage* Nightfire.. i understand your upset but if you don't get me out of here i'm going to die! *The cage now pressing him against the wall*

".......she would have died anyway.........at least now.........she died saving me.......she would do anything for me......." she said. belthazor laughed at Frostbolt.
"your not getting out anytime soon!" he said. then Starfire got up. she glared at him, with firey red eyes. she glowed fire red.
"you'll pay for what you did to my family!! prepare to die!!!" she roared. then she used a empath rage fury on him.

*now being crushed by the cage* Frostbolt saying out of breath,"H..help"

Nightfire glowed black and had gotten his pure white eyes back.

Starfire still glowed red. she was ready to attack again, if she had to. Belthazor lay motionless on the ground. she walked over to him. then he suddenly stabbed her in the chest with a slayers dagger. Starfire backed away, and them coallsped on the ground. Belthazor then got up. he grabbed a sword, and walked towards her.

*seeing Starfire* NO! *pushing the cage away* I"LL KILL YOU LIKE THE SCUM YOU ARE!!! *Frostbolt turned Pure white and his eyes turned a cold blue... rostbolt charged at Belthazor* RAAAA!!
