I know I'm not supposed to respond to people's PT but my grandpa died last week so death has been on my mind quite a lot lately too, idk how much help I can be but if you ever need to talk to someone I'm available

thank u so much. my boyfriend's dad suddenly died in december and the whole thing is a big mess. we never dealt with death before and it's hard seeing him so sad. i wish things like this would never happen

Skylanders era was the age the mods were best here because the bias wasn’t the absolute worst and controlling the site based on what their friends wanted. dark52 on his own unironically made for better moderation than the current mod team.

it's incredibly stupid that inactivity can cause so much pain in your lower back. it's not like i can just. go out? and do things? there's a pandemic, and because my mother would be so much at risk, i refuse to go out unless i HAVE to. so i'm stuck in my room, because this house is small, and with no reason to get on my computer, i lay on my bed. it's not MY fault that my best writing/drawing position is on my stomach.

looking it up, lower back pain can last for 2-4 weeks. ****. i can hardly get out of bed i'm in so much pain. medicine isn't helping.

i know ur not "supposed" to reply to PTs but i thought this would be okay-

i'm sorry about your pain my dude, can i suggest a couple things? don't lie on your stomach so much cause that actually puts a lot of pressure on the spine :/ but I KNOW that position is SO comfortable, so maybe try prop a pillow under you, around the lower abdomen area, if you do lie on your front? also, stretching, like proper standing up and stretching your whole body, just for 5-10 mins a day will do absolute wonders. sorry if you knew this already i'm just tryna help

nah man thanks, i didn't know that it puts pressure on your spine. i thought it'd be the opposite; lying on your back puts pressure on your spine. but that makes sense. i've tried the pillow thing but i forget a lot and end up not using it, i should try to do it more often. i can't really focus on my art unless i'm on my stomach, i don't know why. but i should start stretching more too, since i don't really do that. thanks for the advice!!
