Eli tries to wave his hand, playing it off like he's fine, but couldn't.
"Ugh.....I'm fine." He tried to say convincingly.

Jackor nodded at Equius.
"Any idea where he went?" He asked him.

Aradia shakes her head.
"No you aren't."

Equius points.
"That way."

Eli smiles.
"Ugh, whatever, I'm not fine." He says, again coughing up a little blood.

Jackor nodded.
"Lead the way." He said.

Aradia smiles.
"You can admit it. I'll take care of you."

Equius nods.
"All we need is Lone's necklace."

Eli nods, smiling. The smile went away as he bit his I'll as a jolt of pain went through him.
"I need some serious help with this." He said when the pain stopped.

Jackor nodded as he followed him.

Aradia nods and looks Eli over.
"Do you feel broken, like broken bones at all?"

Equius dashed ahead quickly.

Eli shrugs, then gasps in pain as he does it.
"Well, my shoulder had a knife stabbed in it." He said. "Probably through it too."

Jackor sped it to catch up with Equius.

Aradia nods and gently touches Eli's shoulder, examining the wound.
"Tell me if it hurts too much." She says softly.

The cloaked figure turns to see Equius and Jackor. He sighs and stops, holding out the necklace.
"You want this, hmm?"

Eli bites his lips as Aradia touches his shoulder.
"Like hell." He managed to get out.

Jackor looked at the figure and gets into a fighting stance.
"Yeah." He said.

Aradia pulled her hand back.
"Sorry. I would like to help, if I may." She says softly.

The figure laughs.
"If I can finish off that fire boy's brother, you can have it."

"You can't kill Karkat!" Equius barks.

Eli nodded.
"It'll on,y get worse, or maybe even infected if you don't." He said, biting down on his tongue in preparation for the pain.

Jackor quietly cursed.
"How about you give us the necklace, and you don't kill Karkat?" He said, dashing forward, and getting ready to punch him.

Aradia nods and takes out her supplies. She worked carefully, preventing hurting Eli too much.

The figure disappears in mere seconds, reappearing behind Jackor and kicking him to the ground.

Eli winces a bit as she begins to work on it.

Jackor curses as he hits the ground, rolling a bit, and spinning around on his foot as he picks up a rock and charging towards him again.

The figure jumps into a low branch above.

Aradia cleans the wound, adds ointment, and bandages it.
"There. Better?"

Eli nods, feeling better than before.
"Better." He said.

Jackor curses.
"You wouldn't happen to have a gun, would you Equius?" He asked him.

Aradia smiles.
"That's good." She says, collapsing gratefully against a tree, gritting her teeth in pain from her shoulder.

Equius shakes his head.
"No. I don't shoot."

Eli laughs a little.
"Funny how me and Jackor were chasing after Karkat and Equius yesterday." He said, chuckling a little.

Jackor laughs.
"I was being sort of sarcastic." He said. "Though, a gun would be useful."

Aradia smiles despite the pain.
"And now you're friends, funny how that works out."

Equius nods.

The figure looks down at them. He sighs.
"What a monotonous game. This ought to be more interesting, hmm?"

Eli laughs again, wincing a bit as he felt some pain from the movement.
"The Fates are a weird bunch aren't they?" He joked.

Jackor looked up at him, then shrugged when he remembered he had the rock in his hand.
"Worth a shot." He said, throwing the rock at the cloaked figure's head.

The figure moved slightly, and the rock flew by.

Aradia smiles.
"They are."

Jackor cursed, then turned to Equius.
"Any good ideas?" He asked him.

Eli laughed.
"Always messing with people." He joked again.

Aradia smiles and leans back against the tree.
"You're funny, Eli."

Equius shook his head.
"I don't know. We need something or Lone will die."

Eli shrugs, wincing again.
"I've been told that." He said, a smirk on his face.

Jackor nods.
"I say we climb up and get him." He says.

Aradia smiles.
"I bet."

Equius frowns.
"Do you really believe we can reach him in time?"

Eli laughs.
"I've also been called loud on many occasions." He said, a smile on his face.

Jackor shrugs.
"It's worth a shot." He said.

Aradia laughs.
"I don't believe that for a second."

Equius nods.
"At best, he'll drop the item."

Eli smiles again.
"Well, then you should've heard me as I chased after Karkat and Eqiuius." He said.

Jackor shrugs.
"Let's do it then." He says, running to the tree and beginning to climb it.

Aradia laughs.
"That loud?"

Karkat's eyes were dull. He was barely alive.

Equius scales the tree at a quick pace.

The figure cocks his head curiously.

Eli laughs a little, and nods.
"Pretty much." He said shaking his head.

Jackor was also going pretty fast. Thanks to the harsh training they send their guards through.

Aradia smiles.
"I see."

The figure jumps to avoid harm, but inconveniently drops the necklace. He swears, but runs off.

Equius shouts to Jackor to catch the necklace.

Jackor nods, leaping from the tree, and catching the necklace as he fell.
"Hey, that actually worked." He said, dusting himself off as he stood up.

Eli laughs. Then frowns as he looks at Karkat.
"Karkat?" He asked, trying to get up.

Aradia looks at Karkat in concern.

Karkat's eyes had grown duller. He had lost so much blood and his breath was rasping in his throat.

Equius nods.
"Funny, huh? Let's get back. I'm worried about the two that look like the living dead back there." He says, meaning Karkat and Lone.

Eli then looked at him.
"We need to help him." He said, trying to get up to walk over to him.

Jackor nodded.
"Let's go." With that, he turned and ran the way they came.

Aradia nods but cries in pain as she tries to get up from her shoulder wound. It was severely deep.

Equius followed Jackor back to the group.
"Put the necklace on Lone." He says to Jackor.

Jackor nodded, going over to Lone's limp body and placed it around his neck.
"There." He said, looking over to Karkat. "Karkat!" He yelled, running over to him.

Eli just slumped back down to the ground when he saw Karkat was in good hands.

Karkat seemed to not be seeing at all. He was almost lifeless.

Lone coughed as his necklace was back around his neck. He howled as he saw Karkat. Struggling to his feet, he ran to Karkat and sat beside him. He holds a hand to stop Jackor.
"I will repay the huge favor you just did for me." He says.

He takes of his necklace and opens the charm, a small capsule containing a kind of liquid like a medicine. Taking another small capsule from his pocket, he puts a small bit of the liquid in it and attaches it to the chain around Karkat's neck. He then replaces his necklace around his neck and closes the capsule on it.
"Now just wait a little." He says.

Jackor just looked at Karkat as he was still looking lifeless.
"Are you sure?" He asked Lone in a worried voice.

Lone nodded.
"Trust me."

The light began to come back to Karkat's eyes. He coughs.

Jackor let's put his breath, which he hadn't realized he had been holding.
"Thank god." He says, a smile coming to his face.

"Is he fixed!?" Eli yells out, getting a laugh from Jackor.

"Yes, he's fixed." He says, chuckling and shaking his head.

Lone smiles.
"Karkat can be healed by the medicine I live on."

Jackor raised an eyebrow and loomed at Lone.
"Really?" He asked. "Well, I'm glad we got your necklace back from that guy, else we would've lost both you and Karkat."

Lone nodded.
"You forget. I'm a creation. I need that medicine to live."

((*looked))

Jackor shrugged.
"True." He said, turning to look at Eli. He gasped as he saw Eli's face a little pain, and blood on his shirt and lips. "Eli!" He said, running towards him.

"I'm okay." He said. "Thanks to Aradia." He said, looking at her.

Aradia smiles despite how much pain she was in. She didn't want to take care of herself till everyone else was okay.
"It's no problem." She says through slightly gritted teeth.

Eli just looked at her. He then gasped as he realized she needed help.
"Aradia! Why didn't you ask for help?" He asked, trying to get up to help her, but the pain was too much, so he just slumped back down.

Aradia shakes her head.
"I wanted you guys to be okay first."

Jackor turned to look at Aradia.
"Aradia!" He said, running over to her.

Eli just chuckled and shook his head.
"You didn't have to." He said.

Aradia closes her eyes and smiles.
"I'm alright." She says painfully.

"You are not Aradia." Karkat says suddenly. He seems to have recovered in such quick seconds.

Both Eli and Jackor shake their heads.
"You do t seem okay at all." Jackor said, looking over her shoulder,but having no clue what to think about it, besides for the fact that it was pretty bad.

Karkat strides to Aradia, the necklace from Lone klinking against his throat. He removes the necklace and puts it around Aradia's neck.
