Toon Link's just been confirmed. YUSH! MY FAVORITE CHARACTER FROM BRAWL IS BACK! Although I really didn't see that coming and I have a feeling his placement is gonna piss off alot of people so... eh, I'm glad to see the lil' guy back. ^.^

Though, I'm happy, because I LOVE using Toon Link. Much better than Adult Link, for me anyway.

I love Smash Bros. and the graphics on this are amazing. Unfortunately, I own neither a Wii.U or 3DS...

Also, this game has done so much wrong by me! Worst of all, that there will be no more cutscenes in story mode.

Agreed, to be fair, when I first heard about the news I didn't mind that much, but the more I think about it, the more I hate that idea! Seriously Nintendo just calm down. >.>

It's not the lack of a story mode that bothers me. It's just that, I enjoyed the Subspace Emissary as a game, especially in co-op. Having no story mode means it's less likely there will be a full-length adventure mode. I'll be sad if we don't AT LEAST get the latter.

I know the 3DS version is getting a platformer mode of sorts, but I really hope it ain't a 20 minute deal like in Melee. Unless they have character endings like in a Tekken game. Otherwise, I'd rather a full-length action-adventure game like Subspace was, but I wouldn't mind them cutting the story out.

It's still going to be an awesome game, but I want to have as much memories with this game as I have with the other games. I have the most memories with Brawl in part because of it's Adventure mode and how my best friend and I always played it.

OK, I agree, but I think Subspace Emmisary was great. I just think the whole doomsday idea was neat, and seeing R.O.B evil for a bit in the beggining (Because no one bought him and he was angry so he started keeeeeeling things) was cool. We need something like it.

I wasn't saying to cut out the story because I disliked it. I actually really liked it too, but I mainly liked that mode because it was actually quite fun and engaging (freakin' Intense mode, man).

I'm just saying that I wouldn't mind them toning it down on the cutscenes and story if they at least included a fully fledged-action adventure game in some way. Personally, I don't think Smash Bros is a game that should be rushed at all. I personally would be perfectly OK with them pushing the release date back to 2015 if it ever came to that (though that's not gonna actually happen).

I wouldn't say it's a chore, I was never like 'uuuugh, when's this level gonna end!?!?' even at the Great Maze.
I will say that I hate how dull the level designs, how small amount of level tropes there are and how many times they're reused. Especially the desert ones. >.>

I must admit, I didn't expect Toon Link to be revealed. It has pleased a lot of people, and it makes sense because of the Ocarina of Time 3DS game coming out. I'm still waiting for another Kid Icarus character, though.

I heard rumors that Nintendo wanted to put Goku (Dragon Ball/Z) in the game, they're probably just rumors though...

So pumped for this game now, more than ever. Now that Megaman, Sonic and Toon Link are confirmed, I just am waiting for Nintendo to surprise me from now on with all new characters.

I never really played as Sonic much in Brawl, and I'll have to wait until Wii U until I can, cuz my Wii's broken.

So there was a big system update today on Wii U. For some reason, one of the update's biggest features seems to have gone under the radar, with no real indication of it's addition, not even within the official notification you receive on your Wii U regarding the updates features - the ability to use the Wii U GamePad as a screen for Wii Mode, meaning every single Wii game can now be played on the GamePad's screen (you can't use it as a controller for Wii games, but that would be asking for too much).

One of the biggest concerns people seem to have for Smash Bros Wii U is how the game will look on the GamePad screen, due to all of the camera movement in the game.

So I decided to give Brawl a little test run on my GamePad screen, and it works just fine. I was sitting at a distance from the screen, and it looked fine. The Subspace Emissary was also just as fine as normal matches.

I also tried Sonic & the Secret Rings, and found that completely fine. So yeah, considering that these games were not designed with GamePad support in mind, Smash Bros Wii U will look absolutely fine.
