Dalazer began searching for handwriting similar to the one on the map, splitting up from the others.

Though the writing was foreign to Umbra, she was sure she could distinguish what she was looking for. She followed Dalazer to the Assassins' quarters, and chose a room opposite the one he had disappeared into. It was vacant of any occupants, and she scanned the room for any journals or notes. Her eye picked out a sleek black book on a bedside table, and she gingerly scanned its contents. It was mostly drawings, though, and what handwriting she found did not match up. Finding nothing else, she left that room and went to the next. Such thrilling work, she thought cynically.

Umbra leafed through the pages of a few books she found in the second room, but still did not find what she sought. With a sigh she made her way to the next room.

Outside in the hallway was heard steps, suddenly stopping when hearing people searching for something. "crap..." person in the hallway started running away.

As Umbra was going to the next room she saw this said figure. Alarmed, she looked around for one of her friends, and the first she spotted was Dalazer, in a room across the hall. She called his name and then took off running in pursuit.

Dalazer looked into the hallway, seeing Umbra going after this shifty person, he turned into bats, flying in front of him, turning back and grabbing him from throat. "Traitor, I assume?"
"Urgh..." Young looking man tried to speak, but didn't get enough breath for that.

Umbra skidded to a halt, thinking crossly, Wish I could do that. She stepped up behind the suspected traitor, hand on her ebony dagger. If she still had her tail, it would be lashing behind her.

"I was... Urgh... Hired for this..." The traitor said, still having hard time to talk.
Dalazer's grip around his neck became tighter. "By who?!"
"By D-" Before the traitor could finish, he was shot right through his head with Daedric arrow, piercing through his brains.

Umbra nearly jumped out of her skin. "What in Oblivion!?" she hissed, her voice sounding much more Argonian than human.

Dalazer let go of the traitor, watching as he fell on ground, looking around for the person who shot him, but not seeing anyone. "This is strange..." He muttered, picking up the bloody daedric arrow.

"Looks like our Tamriel friends have found us," Umbra commented dryly.

"Indeed, but we shouldn't let this to distract us from what we are doing." Dalazer said as he threw the arrow on ground.

Kevin came rushing to Dalazer and Umbra "what the hell?"
He then saw the dead body with the arrow through his head "Che cazzo...?
He looked around for anything, "what happened here? What;'s going on?"

"Seems like we found our traitor, but before he could tell anything, someone assassinated him." Dalazer replied to Kevin, watching the body.

Kevin stared at the lifeless body "any idea...who he is?" He asked.

Dalazer turned his look away from the body, walking away to find Ezio. "Just someone who has sold their honour."

Umbra listened to their exchange silently, and watched Dalazer as he walked away. She glanced at Kevin and shrugged, then followed the Vampire Lord.

"Ooh. Loot." Kevin looked down at the body and crouched next to it seeing if he could find anything of use.

[Anything Kevin should find that could serve the plot, Dacon?]

After searching the body for while, Kevin could see a letter from Templars, it seemed like traitor had given them the location of the Apple.

Better give this to Ezio Kevin thought Or Dalazer?
He put the letter in his pocket and continued looting the dead body.

Kevin couldn't really care less about dead people...how as an Assassin he should be respectful of the dead, or whoever he's just assassinated...but in his opinion THEY'RE DEAD. It doesn't matter. Unless it was someone he cared about, he just doesn't care bout it- "Rest in Peace" didn't mean much to him.

In the end Kevin just got a dagger and some florins.

Kevin walked around the Assassins HQ trying to find Dalazer to give him the letter he had found.

Umbra saw him wondering and trotted over to him. "Looking for something?" she asked, calm as ever.

Kevin just stared at Umbra for a second, he hadn't really talked to her lately and he still remembered her as an Argonian so he was momentarily stunned as to who this beautiful girl talking to him was.
"Um...I dunno."
"Dalazer" he finally said, pulling out the Templar Letter "a letter to the Templars from our little traitor that's now dead. I was gonna give the letter to Ezio, but it looks like the Vampire Lord is leading this little investigation."

Umbra raised a brow, then stepped closer to see the letter. She peered at it, then looked back at him. "I have no idea where he's disappeared to now," she said. "Or Ezio, for that matter..."

Dalazer walked back to them. "Can't find him."

Umbra jumped, almost falling into Kevin. How does he do that? I'm not even that sneaky...

[What the puck? o.O I say, 'helped the plot!']

[It did, it did.]

[So. We have/had a traitor in the Brotherhood, a letter about the Apple of Eden (from the Templars), our beloved Mentor kidnapped or something and is God knows where and a crazy kick-ass Vampire Lord leading an investigation...this is a fantastic plot ]

Kevin handed Dalazer the letter "the Templars know the location of the Apple...and it seems, so do we now."

Dalazer stared at the letter, then at others. "We have to find Ezio and then go find the apple, taking it to safe."

"Yes, but where the hell is Ezio? We've checked everywhere in Rome, and Michiavelli didn't send him on any assignments...don't think he went back to Skyrim either..." Kevin paused "unless...I dunno...maybe he was taken"

[Speaking of which, anyone seen Taken? ]

"Taken? By who?" Dalazer looked at Kevin, questioning.
