Quote: GoldenfireWe glared... and glared... and glared some more. I wondered if we were going to keep this up all morning, when the dragon let out a tiny sigh, and suddenly shot forwards, snatching me up around the waist with one big paw, and shooting into the sky. I am sad to admit that I screamed like a girl. I know I am a girl, but i don't scream like one. Except that time... Anyway. The dragon flapped into the air, let out a loud screaching roar, and shot off across the sky, still carrying me. I struggled, flapping my wings frantically. I couldn't do anything. the dragon's claws were biting into my side where they met, and I grimaced, trying to keep myself from gettins skewered. Through all of this, I was wondering just WHY a dragon was in the Great Plains of the United States. What the H was a prehistoric, possibly mythical creature doing in modern US!? I couldn't stop thinking that. I was also starting to hyperventilate, which is REALLY bad when you have oversized lungs like all bird kids do. To much oxygen, way to fast. For some reason, I started to glow again. At first, nothing happened, and I looked back, still panicing, and saw Shaun and the twins flapping after the dragon. It looked back too and roared, jetting fire at them. they dodged, and the hot air shot the upwards. Shaun recovered fastest, and flapped harder, gaining speed like mad.
Suddenly, he blurred, and shot forwards, a BOOM sounding loudly as he broke the sound barrier. He slammed into the dragon, smashing it downwards. It roarede in pain, and we fell, free fall. Its claws were still locked around me.
"SHAAAUUUUNNN!!!!" I shouted, reaching up for him uselessly as the dragon dragged me downwards. I struggled, and my glow intensified. The dragon's paw smocked where it touched me, and it roared again, letting me go. I flapped frantically, but I was in free fall. "SHAAAUUUUNNN!!!" I houted one last time, before the drastic change in pressure knocked me out cold.......
SINCE it's been so long, and I've FINALLY figured out how to end this, here's the refresher*is seeing apalling number of spelling mistakes* that is very misspelled.
Also!!! Part... whatever this is, I don't even really care anymore.

-----------------------
It all blurred after I passed out. I don't have a clue what happened and didn't pay atention to big details. Shaun said it was actually kind of a funny situation afterwards though, when he thought about it later on. I geuss he's right. I mean, I was kidnapped by a dragon! Damsel in distress! I actually was too. I couldn't do anything against the giant lizard. And we both admited that it DID look miffed when we didn't run and scream, like it had been trained to think we would... Well, anyway! I'm getting off topic! Back to me waking up!
----------------------------------------------------------------
I blinked awake to Shaun and Lina's faces. "...My throat feels like a freaking desert." I mumbled, aching all over.
"Thank God you're alive!" Shaun cried, hugging me suddenly, and the world swam before my eyes.
"Ohhh..." I probably sounded ill, because Shaun pulled back, gently laying me down again, now on his lap. I gave a weak smile as my head rested on his knees. "...Water?" I asked.
"Right! Sorry!" He said, and looked around. Koto appeared in my field of vision with the water bottles, and handed me one. i tried to chug it down, but Shaun snatched it away before I got three gulps. "Yeesh! Slow down! Don't make yourself sick, Terra!" He snapped, concern obvious though. I heard Lina snicker slightly.
"Someone's concerned, aren't they?" She teased Shaun, and I rolled my eyes slightly.
"Lina, do stop talking." I muttered. I then tried to sit up slowly, using Shaun for support. I somehow ended up sitting sideways in his lap. I'm still not sure how that happened.
"Now don't chug this, I don't want you puking on me." He said, only partially joking, as he held the water bottle to my lips. I forced myself to drink slowly, letting him pour the water into my mouth. I somehow got him to stop pouring water into my mouth without choking on it.
"Okay, okay, thank you. I'm good." I said, wiping my mouth. He sighed, and gently rubbed my back. "OwowowowOW!" I cried, leaning away from him. "Hurts! Ow! Pain! Shaun, stop!" He stopped, looking dismayed.
"What'd I do!?" He asked. I finally registered how close he was-I mean I was sitting in his LAP-and blushed, but my back did hurt.
"Nothing. It feels like my back is a raw mess." I muttered, wondering how it had-oh yeah. Dragon. "Where's that d@mned dragon? I have a word or two to shout at it." I growled. Rima walked around into my field of view.
"Gone. While you were passed out, Shaun somehow cought up to the falling thing and saved you. You were glowing like a star too." She told me. I made a 'do continue' motion with my hand. "It hit the ground far ahead of you, and broke its neck in the fall. Then, for some reason, it... changed." she said, and a small lizard crawled onto the top of her head. I stared at it as it fanned little miniwings, and a few sparks flew out of its mouth.
"It SHRANK!?" I shouted, and regretted it. I was bruised all over and ended up almost blacking out from a searing pain in my ribs. I refocused curled up against Shaun's chest, with him just sitting there awkwardly, seeming unsure if he should touch me or not. I also realized I was literally whimpering, making whining noises. As the pain slowly faded, I managed to stop that.
"Ah... yes, it shrank. We don't know why..." Shaun muttered. I glared at the mini dragon.
"I'm going to kill it." I said, and leapt up somehow, grabbing it by its scaly neck in one leap. It peeped at me. I felt no pity. "It's just gonna change back when we're asleep or something and eat our heads." I growled. Lina was suddenly hanging onto my shirt.
"No! Don't kill im! Don't kill Maro!" She whined. I looked down at her.
"You NAMED IT!?" I shouted again, and came out of my daze this time with Shaun holding me up carefully.
"Would you stop shouting already!? I can't keep dealing with trying not to hurt you while I stop you from hitting the ground!" He said, sounding paniced. I didn't blame him.
"Excuse me. I was just stolen by a DRAGON!" I cursed my stupidity through the pain this time, forcing myself back up into that world of hurt to find that Shaun had just sat down again, me yet again in his lap. He was looking at me with a

expression.
"Just don't move, Terra. Please? Lina can fix your three broken ribs, but only if you don't make them
worse." He muttered. I mumbled profanities on all dragons, glaring at Sparkles the Evil Freak of Nature who was sitting on top of Rima's head again. Both of them ignored me.
"Then that thing is not staying with us." I growled. Shaun sighed as Lina came over to me.
"fine. Dragon goes. Alright? But we can't kill it or Lina will hate us forever." He muttered in my ear, and I blushed again at how close he was...
