"yeah.." frostbolt miped out side and looked up.

Fireflight stood beside him.
"i doubt you have energy to fly....i wonder if i could teleport us back home.."

"i can at least do that.." frostbolt wrapped a wing around fireflight and teleported them back home.

Nightflight looked at them.
"i was wondering where you too ran off to" she said.
"it isn't any of your buissness, Night" Fire replied.

" o lighten up on her.." frostbolt kissed fireflight.

Fireflight smiled. Night chuckled.
"ha! i know!"
"what is it this time?" Fire sighed.
"i know where you guys were!" Night teased.
"how could you possibly know?"
"do i have to explain everything? i can sense your feelings, Fire. and don't tell me i'm wrong. besides, i've seen that look before. remember?"
"yeah, i remember. just don't make a big deal about it"
"aw, why not? it would be fun to tell eveyone i see"
"you better not tell Starfire. i want to tell her myself"
"oh, i see how it is. you'll tell Star but not me?"
"you figure it out!"
"yeah, but it's like you were gonig to tell me"
"yeah, and this is why"
"oh, come on, Fire. we've only known each other since forever, why can't you trust me?"
"because i know you too well, Night"

"just stop arguing.. your one in the same... just oposite..." frostbolt said with a sigh.

"they won't stop untill one or both is dead" said Star, walking inside the cave.
"and that already happened, but one of us decided to come back to life" said Fire.
"hey, don't blame me. your husband is the one that brought me back" Night said.
"Nightflight!" Fireflight snarled. Star looked confused.
"wait, you guys are married? since when?"

Frostbolt took nightflight out of the room and left fireflight and star to talk.

Fireflight sighed and shook her head.
"what am i going to do with her...?"
"her? what about me?" Starfire asked, walking up to her. "you lied to me..." Star said. Fireflight looked at her.
"no, i just--"
"you lied, that's what you did, you lied. Mom, i can't believe it. i thought you'd never do something like this. at least not without telling me"
"what was i suppose to do, Star? use my powers, predict the future, tell you what was going to happen before i knew myself?"
"well, you should have done something!"
"i did! Star, you wern't there. you don't know how i felt"
"more lies! i do know, Mom! it's written all over your face! not only now...but years ago...it is so easy to tell...i know it's how aunt Night found out, 'cuase i'm sure you wouldn't tell her...least of all before telling me...i just can't believe you lied..." Starfire said. then she ran out of the cave.
"Star! Star, wait! Starfire!" Fireflight yelled, but she was already gone.

frostbolt was in the other room with nightflight, " Why would you do that? why would you tell star? CAn't YOU AT LEAST ATTEMPT to be good?"

"it's not in my nature. i was born evil, frost. it's hard to change from that. besides, my whole life i've spent doing things like this...especially to Fireflight...i spent my whole life...trying to ruin hers..."
Fireflight ran outside, and tried to find Starfire, but she was long gone.
"STARFIRE?!!" she called, but there ws no answer.

frostbolt sighed, "your ruining mine too.... just.. i mean.. i gave a 2nd chance at life.... can't you respect that?"

"maybe that stupid shield thing was broken...maybe i'm not really good...i certainly don't act like it...maybe it's best if i just leave...all i ever do is cause trouble..." she said. then she started to walk out of the cave.

"hey!" frostbolt said. "wait.." he walked up to her and gave her a hug. "don't waste your second chance.." he then walked out of the cave to help fireflight.

Nightflight stopped, and stood there for a moment.
"maybe...he's right...it's time...to do something good for a change..." she said. then she disappeared. Fireflight kept looking for Star, and calling her name.
"it's no use...she won't come...she's long gone by now..." she said, lowering her head.

Frostbolt limped up to fireflight, 'what happened?"

Fire sighed.
"Star ran off again...and it's because of me..."
:meanwhile:
Nightflight teleported to the beach. she saw Star sitting at the water's edge, watching the waves. she walked over to her.
"i knew i'd find you here.." she said.
"what do you want?" Star grumbled, without turning to face her.
"to make things right..."
"then shouldn't you be jumping off a cliff, or something?"
"haha, very funny, Star, but that isn't what i meant. i meant that i'm here to make things right with you...and your mom..."
"it makes a diffrence, we don't really care if you drop off the face of the earth, and we never see you again"
"come on, Star, you don't really mean that"
"don't i? all you ever do is cause trouble"
"no, you don't mean it. i've been evil long enough to know lying when i hear it. will saying i'm sorry do any good?"
"depends on if you mean it...and if she means it..."
"i don't blame you for not trusting me...but your mom loves you, you know that. she'd never do anything to hurt you"
"i find that hard to believe since she just lied to me..."

frostbolt frowned, "what did you do?"

she looked away, and sighed.
:meanwhile:
"she has her reasons for what she did. you should talk to her. i know she feels bad for upseting you, but she'll feel even worse if you don't go home"
"your not leaving 'till i do, are you?"
"nope. if you stay, i'm staying, and that's a promise"
"will you be staying at the cave?"
"probally. depends if anyone wants me there, and if i have somewhere else to go"
"then find somewhere else to stay"
"i figured you'd say that. but you need to go home. talk to your mom. tell her i'm sorry, and i mean it. tell her i'm staying out of the way, and i won't bother you guys anymore. but just talk to her. oh, and next time you feel like running away, don't. one of these days, your going to drive her crazy doing this, and Frostbolt too. they care about you, you know. you should go back to them..." she said. then she started to walk away, but stopped. "..and...i'm sorry...for everything..........i love you, Star....." she said. then she was gone.

"fireflight... what happened... you can tell me.." he hugged her

Starfire flew back home. she landed outside the cave, and saw Fireflight and Frostbolt outside. she walked up behind them.
"what'cha looking at?" she asked. Fireflight turned around.
"Starfire!" she exclaimed, happily. then she hugged her.

Frostbolt sat down and thet fire and star have a moment

Fireflight kept hugging Star.
"ok, Mom, i get it, you're glad to see me, but are you ever going to let go?" Star said, jokingly. Fireflight looked at her.
"not if you're going to leave again. dang it, Star, you do this every time. you get upset, and then you run off. then i'm worried sick about you"
"but Mom--"
"i don't want to hear it, Star. i'm tired of worrying so much about you. i can't take much more of this"
"Mom, what are you saying?"
"Starfire, i don't want you running off anymore. either you can continue to live at the cave, and never run off, or you can live on your own, and do as you please. your old enough to take care of yourself. plus, you can find a better home for Nightstar. besides, you should be out on your own, with Nightfire if you see him again"
"b--but, but Mom--"
"no, Star. it's time you moved out, and gave me a break from the disappearing acts. Starfire, i love you, but i can't take care of you forever"

Frostbolt sat their, shocked.

"but Mom, i have to--"
"don't. i don't want to hear it"
"but it's about--"
"Star, no. this is what you've been wanting, isn't it? a chance to be on your own? well, this is it. just try it, and see what happens. if you want, you can always come back, but i could use a break from this..."
"but Mom, it's really impor--"
"no. just go find a place to stay. i'm sure there much better places out here than here with me"
"but Mom, there's something i gotta--"
"just stop. i don't want to hear it. go find a better place to stay"
"but--"
"go on, go"
"but--"
"what are you still doing here? go. right now. take Nightstar, and go find yourself a better home" she said. Starfire sighed. she walked inside the cave to get Nightstar.

"let her at least say what she was going to say..." frost looked at her funny.

Fireflight looked at him.
"she can always tell me later..."

"yeah... I guesse... I'm goning to help star find a home okay?" he said as he walked into the cave to help star.

Starfire was in Nightstar's room. she was holding a large, flat stone, while Nightstar held a jar with a butterfly inside. Fireflight sat down outside by the river.

Frostbolt walked in and sat down. "packing?"

Star nodded. Nightstar walked over to frostbolt.
"i'm gonna miss you" she said, sadly. Star stayed quiet.

he picked nightstar up, "now now.... I'll come visit you guys allright? I promise. I was actaully going to come with you two for now to find a new cave or what ever you want."

Nightstar smiled a little.
"ok" she said. she looked at Starfire. "where are we gonna live, Mommy?" she asked. Star glanced at her, and shrugged.

Frostbolt sighed, "Thats why I'm here.... theres a couple un-inhabited dens i know of..."

then there was a knock at the door. Starfire turned around to see who it was.
"aunt Night, what are you doing here?"
"heard the news. came to bid my farewells to my fave niece, and thought i might be able to help" Nightflight replied.
"oh, thanks..." Star said, quietly.
"what's the matter, Star? haven't seen you this down on anything that didn't invlove a guy you cared about"
"you heard the news....home isn't home anymore....."
"man, i'd never though i'd see you so bummed about leaving a place you're always running away from"
"this is diffrent.....Mom wants me gone..."
"she never--"
"yes, she did.....she's tired of me....."

"no... shes tired of worrying and stressing out everytime you run away..." if she were to have it completly her way you would never leave the cave." he said with a slight luagh.

"well, what else am i suppose to do? it's not like anyone ever pays attention to someone else's feelings around here! we're suppose to be freaking empaths, but we never seem to care about anyone's feelings but our own! running away is the only way to get any freaking peace and quiet around here! especially with the constant fight of red empath verses black empath!" then Starfire ran out. she ran past Fireflight outside, and before Fire could say a word, Star was gone.

"hmm... i probubly could have worded that differantly..." he said as he looked over at nightflight.

Night shoke her head.
"there isn't anything either of us could have done. Star finds comfort in getting away from this crazy place, and i kind don't blame her. she's just upset right now, and so is Fireflight for that matter. why don't you go talk to Fire, and see how she's doing, and i'll go find Star. if i'm right, she's at the beach again" Nightflight said. then she disappeared in a black cloud. Nightstar looked at Frostbolt.
"is Mommy ok?" she asked, worriedly.

"yes.. mommy will be okay", he said as he threw her up into the air and cuaght her. he walked over to fireflight.

Fireflight looked at him. she looked at Nightstar, and smiled.
"hello, little one" she said in a sweet voice.
"hi, Gradma!" Nightstar replied.

Frostbolt handed nightstar to fire. "she'll probubly be back very soon.."

Fireflight hugged her, smiling. Nightstar hugged back. then Nightflight appeared, but was alone. she looked upset.
"Star's gone" she said, sadly. Fireflight looked at her.
"check the beach"
"been there, checked that. i looked everywhere. she's gone. and i mean long gone"
"what?! she can't just disappear like that!"
"well, tell that to her, Fire, considering you can find her. i teleported everywhere. i searched long and hard. i even tried senseing her. Starfire isn't anywhere near here. she's run off before, but not like this. what in the world did you do to her?"
"me?! what makes you think i did something?"
"she's your daughter, Fire! you're the one that told her to move out. well, i hope you're happy, 'cuase you got your wish. imagine how Quietfire feels right now. who knows what shes doing, or where she is"

"we... we have to get darkstar.." he said as he stuck a claw int his chest and closed his eyes.

Fireflight went to put Nightstar in her room. she didn't want her to see this. Nightflight stayed with Frostbolt.

Frostbolt reached further into his chest and he pulled a black orb out of his chest.

Fireflight returned just in time to see him pull out the ord. Nightflight looked at the black orb.

frostbolt took a deep breath to deal with the pain as blood started to poor from his chest. he handed the orb to nightflight.

Nightflight held the orb in her paw. she took a deep breath before putting it inside her. then a jet black aura surrounded her, and her eyes glowed jet black. she laughed evily and then looked at Frostbolt.
"thank you, Frost, for freeing me" she grinned evily. Fireflight glared at her.
"wheres Starfire?!" she growled. Darkstar only chuckled.
