And more you shall have!
(Woohoo! 50 chapters! A major milestone!)
Chapter 50.
Spyro flew over the snowy plains and cliffs, the clouds had faded away from before him, and he could clearly see the lush, warm forests in the horizon..
His trek here had been awfully hard, and he was worried about could he make it back, he hadn't had food or drink in many days..
Then, like a blessing from the ancestors, Spyro saw some movement to the west..
A distant shadow moved slowly, even from this far, Spyro could see it was not an enemy..
Approaching it, Spyro noticed it was a caribu, propably separated from it's herd by something..
"An easy target, it's a shame to kill innocent creatures, but I'm starving.." Spyro thought..
He got even closer, and then, saw something appear from bedind the snowy hills.
"Grublins?.. What are they doing in the mountains.." Spyro thought..
A small swarm of grublins were following the animal, whitch had a great trouble trying to run away in deep snow. And were gaining on it, fast..
One of the grublins dug out a small, crude hand crossbow, and shot the caribu to it's leg.
The animal fell down to the snow, and stopped moving..
Grublins hadn't yet seen Spyro, who was already near. He took a deep dive towards them, and sliced a deep wound to one of the grublins, with his tail.
Soon, the grublins noticed Spyro, they started to harass him with spears and clubs.
Spyro was running out of options, he couldn't use his powers, and if he got near, he'd get stabbed..
Then he came up with an idea. Spyro dived deep into the snow, and strated digging towards the grublins. They were spinning around, trying to see where the dragon would reappear.
One by one, the grublins were pulled under the snow, and strangled alive by Spyro, then he made his way up from the snow..
The caribu was alredy dead, the runaway had weakened it's powers, and it couldn't deal with the blood loss..
"At least I'm getting something to eat.." Spyro thought, and started to rip the body open..
Now, with food in he's belly, he felt warm, and ready for anything..
He's trip should have continued to south, but insteaad, he decided to go see where the grublins came from.
By following the caribu's footprints backwards, he should be able to track them..
Spyro had a quick rest, and left towards a new destination..
More in two days, or I dunno..
It may be that I'm going to look at the story a bit, and then think about how it continues..
But anyhow, you're going to have more soon.
