I can't decide between Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire. e.e Leaning towards AS because of the legendary, but I guess it really depends on the exclusives. Have any exclusives been announced?

Personally i like Shadypenguinn, he's gotten progressively better and is fun to watch. I also enjoy PIMPNITE cause he uses NU pokemon and is actually very skilled with them

Both look absolutely stunning in their primal form. Even though we don't know any exclusives, I thought of a good way to decide which game to pick up if your getting one called the "starter effect"
Basically the version of the game will be decided by the starter you want (via how they would work together on a team) and the reverse


Omega Ruby: Torchic or Treeko. Torchic and his evolutions are fire so it makes a great combo of drought and fire stab attacks. Treeko and his evolutions being Grass type give you a counter towards water types and they can learn solar beam via TM22 to give your drought another bonus besides boosting Groudon's fire attacks.

Alpha Sapphire: Mudkip. Drizzle with Kyogre and then Switch to Marshtomp to use Mega Marshtomp's swift swim

Who uses two of the same types in a team?

someperson one monoteams (something I don't do) two it is just an in game team. (With other Pokemon in it for countering types which give them trouble)

One weakness which is completely nullified with Marshtomp (while making flying types a bit more important)

My team is gonna be my sapphire team. Swampert, camarupt, Flygon, gardivor, Shiftey, hirioma

I prefer Ghost-types, and use nearly an entirely ghost-type team.

Mega Galade is bad-ass and I will use it.

Mega Gallade looks like a murderer (I can't stop seeing the red blades as bloody blades)

Oh and Camerupt and Sharpedo got megas? (We saw this a mile away)

Is anyone willing to let me borrow this 4iv ditto (31/31/31/xx/31/xx). Trying to breed a snubull for fairy face off and the ivs aren't being kind to me. I could try using different ditto altogether and just mass breed, but that may take too long.

Base 45. Even with 31 IVs, it's not outspeeding anything. So yes, it's best to have the 0 IVs for the Trick Room set.

dude the new Primal Groudon is OP as crap, with whatever ability it gets water moves don't affect it, it literally says, "The water evaporated in the sun!"

For those of you in Europe, some new hardware bundles have been announced. This bundle is for a special Primal Groudon or Primal Kyogre themed Nintendo 2DSs. These consoles are transparent red and blue, to match the Ruby & Sapphire theme of the games.. The consoles will be available on their own in Europe on November 7th without the Pokémon name, or bundled with the games on November 28th.

The Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire Special Demo Version will be available in the UK from GAME, Amazon, Smyth Toys Superstores, ShopTo and the Nintendo UK Official Store from the 15th October until launch. The codes will then also be made available through a number of other partners including Wikia, Bin Weevils and Nintendo Life until mid-November. Amazon, Smyths Toys, ShopTo and Nintendo UK Official Store will be sending these codes out to fans via their internal databases. GAME Stores will distribute their codes Nationwide via Nintendo Zone.
