There wasn't even that much Disney in the first game! It was like 90% Pixar then had Lone Ranger which was an old black and white tv show that Disney tried to remake as a movie yet didn't seem to do so well.

I know there was that much legit Disney stuff but it was there nonetheless, and like there is little Disney stuff in 2.0 as of yet

Personally I'm not a fan of Mickey, Donald, and alike haha so I guess I'm completely fine of all this Marvel.

Still the point remains the game is Disney Infinity yet there seems to be very little actual Disney in the game. They could've just as easily made the game a side spin-off called "Marvel Infinity" or something that is compatible with the first Disney Infinity figures and discs then made Disney Infinity 2.0 on top of that which would include actual Disney things. Instead they ignore their own characters and movies to promote and cash in on the latest fad that they own the rights to. Frankly, it shocks me that Tinker Bell and Stitch are playable even, though the fact that they will likely never get Playsets disappoints me.

This is why I will never buy a DI game. While I love Disney like crazy and will until the day I die, I dislike how the game was handled and turned into nothing more than a cash cow for a quick buck.

It give rumours about a second starter set later in this year only with Disney characters, while the Avengers Playset should sold be seperatly. It will give at least two more toybox adventure discs. One with Merida and the other with Stitch.

But if they will be make more playets, indifferent if Marvel or Disney/Pixar, they should make no more town playsets.

I know you want more classic Disney characters but the Marvel characters will likely sell over 3 to 1 better so I understand their focus being on them. The Marvel characters also make it much easier to produce placesets with 4+ possible figures. It's tough to think of many classic playset possibilities that could have 4+ figures that would sell well. The cool new toy box game discs to mitigate that issue somewhat though since they don't need to produce a full playset game.

possibly something to do with "psyched" maybe its professor X, or another psychic marvel character.

Depending on how they are planning on portraying her powers in the upcoming Avengers 2, I could see the psychic comment being aimed at Scarlet Witch as part of a Wave 2 figure or something. Marvel is pretty much black listing all things X-Men and Fantastic Four on the toy market at this point because of the bad blood right now with the studio. I cant see them pushing anything mutant related like Professor X. There are plenty of psychic characters to pick from, but not as many in some sort of upcoming television/movie project for cross promotion.

They have announced all of the Wave 1 Marvel Characters so its rather obvious that the anouncement tmrw will be Disney-related. Of course they could announce Scarlet Witch as a Wave 2 figure may be along with her brother Quicksilver, but it seems a bit early to announce Wave 2 of Marvel, and not know more than 4 Disney Characters....

I got nothing if its non-marvel and the "psyched" is meant to have any double meaning. Guess its just wait and see.

Well, I guess that means the Aladdin rumor is confirmed. Though its a bit disappointing if there isnt an Agrabah playset. Yay for classic Disney though!

its nice to have another "disney princess" figurine (its sounds kinda funny to say i have the figure of a disney princess).
Agraba is the ideal setting for a playset i think, lots of platforming and hunting, but i guess that could be said about a lot of classic disney.

on another note, tinkerbell and stitch are pre-orderable on the ebgames website now, with a date of TBC 2014.

also new sky and texture discs, a circle disc, and the flying carpet!

I will definitely be getting Aladdin and Jasmine. Now, if only I could have a Raja disc: would make a cool sidekick.

Definitely excited for Jasmine and Aladdin! Jasmine's abilities and combos look really cool and I love the lamp attack with Aladdin!

Here's a little theory ive managed to pile together....Remember how Johnny V said the Ps Vita would have a special starter pack coming out in 2015? EARLY 2015? Now, think about this... Aladdin has been confirmed for Fall of this year, meaning, a release in either Oct., Nov., or maybe even September too. Whereas his other franchise character Jasmine is rumoured to come out in EARLY 2015...Ring a bell? I was hoping.... Could this possibly mean that Jasmine is one of the characters in the Vita starter pack? Of course she could just be released along with the Vita Starter in THAT specific wave, but I digress

i'm racking my brain to come up with a marvel superhero that is going to be well known enough, most likely from the movies, to be in wave 2 for the game.

the only ones i can think of are;
Agent Coulson, hmm, maybe an "Agents of SHIELD" playset???????
Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, from the next avengers movie,
Ant-Man and Doctor Strange, getting their own movies in 2015/16, but that seems like its too far off to be putting in this game
Wolverine???? is he owned by 20th century fox? he is technically an Avenger, even though he hasn't been in any of the mainstream movies with them.
maybe its going to be some villains from the movies.

maybe it means some "lesser known", ones that haven't been in any movies characters from the avengers are coming.

Im guessing Scarlet and Quicksilver are most definitely figures... It seems like an obvious choice for characters. Along with them we may or may not see the Fantastic Four or X-Men

deadpool and wolverine would be awesome, unfortunately disney doesn't own the rights to those characters, unless there is a difference between the live action movies and the video game. it would be awesome to have X-men and fantastic 4 in there too.

My prediction still stands that there'll be another Avengers playset with an Ultron themed story line. New characters will be Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, Vision and the villain of Ultron. A couple Avengers will be cross over and maybe have a playable Hulkbuster.

I'd LOVE some sort of x-men themed playset too but if there is only one more I think the above prediction makes the most sense. I think only one more Marvel playset seem low because there is a LONG gap between September 2014 and September 2015 to only be filled with just one measly playset.

No "Animal" characters coming this game, as in 4 legged animals like Simba or Pluto. They say that's too difficult to code, and that it may come in 3.0...

yeah, Marvel Studios/Disney owns the rights to everything in cartoon and comic book form still, its just the character rights to live action movies that was sold and hasn't been re-aqurired, i don't know how this translates into video games, as far as i can see the Avengers playset seems to be based on the movie characters, same with GotG, and not the cartoon or comic book ones, whilst the Spider Man one seems based on the Ultimate Spiderman cartoon, so it is possible for and X-men one based on an X-men cartoon.

a second Avengers playset with a couple of new figures based on Ultron movie seems likely, although it will be odd to not have the actual "Avengers" able to be in it, but i suppose no more so than Fury not being playable in the Avengers playset.

perhaps the 6 Avengers will be playable in the possible Ultron playset. that would be a positive direction for DI to go

A second Avengers playset would be cool. And I would like the idea of shorter dlc playsets for the single Avengers, so that every character would become his own nemesis (Mandarin, Red Skull, Leader, etc.). But that is wishful thinking.

Just saw the Donald trailer, and while the figurine looks alright, his in-game look is absolutely dreadful...

I mean, it's kinda bad when he looks way better in the 3DS game Disney Magical World than he does in what I assume is the best (graphically speaking) version of Disney Infinity 2.0... I guess the awful artstyle is to blame. :/
