Definately. I'm just okay with most characters(my list on another thread says I like most designs,but that doesn't mean gameplay and overall wanting to play as them) except Fiesta and she's really the only other one that seems to have potential to be a must buy. Besides, her backstory doesn't reveal anything - none of her powers work into how she was recruited,just Sea Shadow.

Really, really curious to see her and Astroblast in action.

If she does walk using her hair tentacles she must have sweet animations and potentially great attacks.

You guys would've saved yourselves a derailing if with one trip to the wiki where Wheellock is called the Marshall of Iron Jaw Gulch,and is in fact a guy. But enough about that; it's a slow news day except for Battlecast and the rather empty gameplay previews but that isn't an excuse.

Terrafin's video shows him briefly riding the Tomb Buggy. For some reason the exaust is some strange waves that don't remind me of anything undead.

Sky Slicer's video gives us a small glimpse into what seems to be the Sky zone of the farm level. Kiinda looks like the brambles we've seen in other trailers are there, but it's an absolutely gigantic free roam place from the few seconds you can see. You can also see a bit more of the Future of Skylands track.

Crypt Crusher's video actually shows a small close up of the wheel when Supercharged; it actually turns into a book of musical notes... I'm sure there's an actual term for this and no I have no idea what it is.

Also, I'll admit, I complained about last year's Chill Bill/Brawl and Chain gameplay stuck between Meet the Skylander videos,but this is kinda more annoying since it shows much less gameplay - they obviously only put the levels we've seen already plus some that you can't tell apart since it's never showing the background.

Speaking of the 3DS version of SWAP Force, maybe the Academy will act like that game's hub and increase in size by acquiring new landmasses as you progress throught the game.

It was very small increases though, like the Boom Town residents reconnecting the islands destroyed by the Clockwork Blasters. That would be pretty nice,but from the glimpses we've seen it looks more like another island crashed rock-first into the courtyard and they just decided to keep building Academy corridors and stairways over it.

Sorry if this is "old news", but riddle me this if you know: Does the need for Battlecast cards now mean or is it confirmed if figures will come with the traditional collector cards?

Battlecast cards are confirmed to be different from the cards that come with the figures.

So even if you get a SuperChargers figure, you have to go to your retailer and buy the other cards meant for Battlecast.

I still don't get why we don't know what the rest of the Eon's Elite look like. We still haven't seen , and yet.

Don't know if this has been pointed out from the Best Buy website, but the description for a SkyLander SuperCharger has "Includes: one Skylanders Figure and one sticker sheet featuring character stats"; for Vehicles it has "Includes: one Skylanders Vehicle and one sticker sheet featuring character stats". No mention of a card for the Figure, and from the E3 Hot Streak we know that the Vehicles have only the one sticker sheet.

I know they say "think" but doubt they wouldn't have motivations to say so since they were so doubtful about stickers and codes.
If only Guha Bala didn't answered all the questions they ask him with "vehicle fantasy, V.V. tech wizards, innovation and creativity" we could know so much more about the game and I would be less skeptical about it...

But yes it is a bit unrespectful we can't unlock Battlecast's content using them even if I understand they couldn't be planning it since SA times.

Battleground was released after SSA and it still supported codes, it's not an excuse really.

The Troll designs aren't new, VV made their noses heavy and chins gigantic since SF. But I'm less mad at them than I was at Chompies(which I-Wei described as being who set the design for the series pretty much), and now that they're back to their nice looking selves I'm happy enough. It's more to do with the intention - do they really think kids are dumb enough to think that a tidy-looking troll, still with giant nose and pointy ears and wrinkes, is less evil than one with exaggerated ugly features? Because if they do then their character designer still didn't learn anything from their mistakes.

Because the toy listings say it's just a sticker with stats when every other year it said it was a card with stats. And now with Battlecast it's this or hoping to RNG you can actually get one for the Skylander you have.

That and also because they changed so many of the little things (bases, elemental backgrounds, overall logo look) I wouldn't be surprised if they touched cards too.

I have to say V.V. truly improved their designs both for characters, playable and not and levels from what I have seen and I sincerely feel they are starting to find their way into the franchise (obviously not taking into consideration vehicles and everything which remotely regards them).
I still see some of SWAP Force's exaggerated imaginery around (certain crates who seem to be about to explode any moment, trolls, some animations) but I definitely think they have learned from some of their previous mistakes.

Soooo according to a Facebook Post of Skylander games. As someone asked about the possible features of those "battlecast" cards. Someone asked if previous cards would work:

Skylanders Game Hi Glenn! Skylanders Battlecast will debut all new physical and digital Battle Card packs! These are separate from the cards that come with the figures.

Sooo, basically, they are going to the Pokemon style right now. ...... You have to buy them separately?? Is their wealth in critical dangers or something?

Speaking of which, I wonder if the official site will update the elemental backgrounds, they look so pretty now;and the Dark and Light ones are way more elaborate than the symbol spam last year(Nightfall's packaging has some crystals).

Anyway that post might be the actual confirm they are still creating cards for at least the new characters otherwise they wouldn't have talked about them as things you'll still find along the figures this year.

Those three and also Splat, Fiesta, and High Volt. Among the returning characters, Roller Brawl is my #1

Tbh, I dont mind waiting for the website update if we got at least a little bit more footage. I dont care if its from the Cloud Kingdom levels (which, by now, I pretty much know where everything is) I just want more gameplay! Then again the website updating would be pretty rad

No I kinda forgot... i think it was like either 2 weeks or a week before release

A bit more than that, though I don't rememeber when. Three weeks maybe, but when it happened, it was everyone but Light and Dark at once. A lot of videos were broken too in the first week.

Yeah I think it was about 3 weeks before launch. Im not sure if that applied to SF but if it did then maybe it'll be updated next week. Either way its definitely gotta be before the beginning of September

I just remembered that they uploaded the "Meet the Skylander" videos on the same day as the website got updated. So I looked it up aaaannd it was exactly three weeks and five days before Trap Team got released in the U.S. So that means the website is going to be updated on the 25th (if the time between update and release is exactly the same). But I assume it's going to be updated at the end of August.

YESSS! That means in a week! And Im excited theres something on the same day as the website update! YAYAYAYAYAY!
