The best thing about this game is that the portal that comes with it is bluetooth capable and you can tether it to your iPad/iPod/iPhone whatever and use it to put your Skylanders into the iOS games. Really nice to not have to type in all of those codes.

All day yesterday I searched stores for scarlet ninjini. I had given up hope till my fiances mom suggested looking a walmart again, which i had already been to once in the morning. and i feel like a lucky duck cause there were 4 scarlet's out now. I bought 2. Then we went back later again with my fiances dad and the other 2 were gone. I also heard that eb games got 12 of them. and employees werent allowed to buy them.

Well poop. I didn't even know about the sidekicks EBGames promotion until today. Not like it would have mattered if I knew about it since I didn't have any money the whole month, but now it's a bit too late and none of the stores in our area have Trigger Snappy. : <

Oh well, at least I got the other three. They're super cute, and I really like them. :3 They're overall pointless, but I still like the idea of them considering they're just promotional items. You get to have a little buddy following you around, just hangin' out. Makes the adventure a little less lonely in single player. :3 Not sure if I'll bother to order Trigger Snappy online though.

^ i was thinking of getting them but there completely useless in the game, they don't do anything but there good for collections though.

I mostly bought them because I really love the Spyro's Adventure line of toys, and since I live in Canada they were something previously unobtainable unless I paid a ton on ebay. Now they're available, and also cheap online since lots of people have them now. The only things from the first set that I don't have, but don't really need at this point are Trigger Snappy, and the legendary 3 pack characters. (I have L-Trigger Happy) Volcanic Vault is useless to me since I don't play multiplayer.

^ Thats fair i mean if you like something why not buy it right, but ya i think ill get the Skylanders Giants Sidekicks instead because they look cooler in my opinion hehe

They are not completely useless. My "Lemur Looking Guy" (to quote the Gamestop employee who didn't know Trigger Snappy's name) took some bullets and grenade for me in Brock's Challenge - "You Only Live Once". For the most part they are there to amuse and look cute.

The same employee called Terra Bite - the "Shark Looking Dude". Seriously????

Got my first Lightcore character today, Pop Fizz. You need to be in a dark room to see the effect properly but his bottle does have quite a bright light in it. I've tried the beast path with my Punch Pop Fizz so I'll be trying the 'Mad Scientist' path with LC Pop Fizz.

The SSA sidekick promotion has come and gone. You had to buy specially marked Frito Lay chip multi-packs and send in money and UPC codes to get them. Word is that they will do something similar for Giants this summer.

Which promotion are you talking about frito lay or GameStop ?

Double Trouble, Lightning Rod, Dragon's Peak, Darklight Crypt, Dark Spyro, and Zook(all S1) from a neighbor for a good price a few days ago, and Scarlet Ninjini at Walmart(funny, I don't have the normal Ninjini yet).

Boyfriend surprised me with another Scarlet Ninjini when I came home today. This one is staying in the package.
Otherwise, I got another Warnado today and I purchased the Nintendo 3DS Starter for $40.00 today, so I finally got Punch Pop Fizz.

Went a little crazy this week - snagged Punch with the 50% off TRU sale, and bought Gnarly, Molten, Jade and Royal yesterday. Already have Scarlet and Granite, so just waiting to see if Polar comes to the states.

Looking forward to having the variants, but not looking forward to the heroics. Ugh.

I don't collect those chase variants, but that seems a little fishy to me. Something must be wrong for them to be selling a glitter Sprocket for $30 shipped. The picture is horrible quality - probably for a reason.

Snagged LightCore Chill and Pop Fizz from the Amazon links, thanks to a few considerate forum members who posted them. I don't personally understand the appeal of all the LightCores, but my son sure does, so I'm excited to be getting them. Just two more to go...

Just got my warnado in the post today but was a little disappointed as its box was completely battered as I bought it as a collectible one, Im not that fussed though as now I am just going to take it out of the box and play with it properly.
