Dark mentioned camel was using proxies. Wouldn't be surprised if a returning banned user used that to get back on. Then he/she mentioned something suspicious.

A little absent because Halloween issues & family problems. Although, for a week & one day is not much, but ..., oh! well, great to be back here.

I think the habit of connecting every day, makes me have the feeling to miss here, so be it for only one week, or for a very long time.

Here's the problem, just now I checked a post from after Camel came back because they posted in Idle Chatter after claiming the proxy was turned off. The new IP address doesn't come anywhere close to any recently banned users, to my knowledge. Obviously I couldn't get a warning off.

Although, it's so vastly different from the one with the proxy that I'm just extremely confused and I'm going to go beg for the mod interface to be revised. <.>;

I was given new information[Don't want to say who. They PMd me and I'm guessing they wanted it to be private?] in which X-treme admits to using proxies to get back in.

They didn't get banned because of her, they got banned because they acted stupid by using a proxy to join the forums again on an alt, which is, of course, against the rules.

She didn't do nothin' wrong. She just helped speed up the process of him being eventually exposed.

But not only did X-treme have evidence on the site itself that he was Camelapple, but he said on another site that he'd "gotten back on an old site".

Besides, Camelapple knew too much. If X-treme wants back in the site, he's gonna have to make himself much less obvious.

Well to the best of my knowledge I can think of only a couple of banned users who have successfully returned to the forums. And I'm pretty sure they were both banned for such trivial reasons, dark didn't really care when they came back since they didn't misbehave in the slightest. <.<

It's so easy to hide your IP that any user here could do it.

Forget that. Not only can mods not view full IPs, they can only do it in the forums they moderate. Since my forums are relatively inactive (or forum games, where it's mostly the same batch of people posting over and over), it's very difficult to verify anything. On top of that, we see the IP that the post was made from, not the IP the user is logging in from. So if someone uses a proxy, VPN, or moves between different locations multiple times a year (like me), you'll constantly see different IPs popping up. <.<;
