Ryker nods quickly.
"Yes! Shiny, and gold."

Jack nods with a smile as she walks to where she last saw something shiny and gold. "It's gotta be around here some- Ahh! There it is!" Jack says bending down and picking up the necklace.

Ryker takes it from her gratefully.
"Thank you so much Jack!" He says, clipping the gold cross around his neck.

Jack smiles "It's nothing, I just happened to notice it while we were walking" She replies

Ryker smiles and nods.
"I'm so grateful."

With my travelling cloak wrapped around me and my hood over my head, I make my way alone toward the entrance of the school. My wounds are bandaged up but I am still very weak from all the blood loss as well as severity of my wounds. However I do not wish to endanger anyone else by being here, so I make my exit as quickly and silently as possible.

Hiruko catches Jyerin leaving and his expression is confused, but he knows to not bother the young ninja. Jyerin's matters are not his own.

Jack smiles as she begins to walk again as she noticed the rain began to pick up a little.

Ryker walks behind Jack, the rain soaking his silver hair, pasting it down to the back of his neck. His bangs stick to his face and he sweeps them out of the way.

Jack smiled as she looked behind her. "Getting a little wet, huh?" She said with a little laugh. She too was getting pretty wet.

Ryker chuckled.
"You're sure talking." he teases.

Jack laughed "Yeah, yeah" She said, grinning from ear to ear

Ryker smiles.

Fallen Ashes covers his small head with his charcoal grey wings.
"While you guys enjoy it, I don't like the rain." he says angrily.

"Then why don't you fly inside?" Jack suggests

Ashes looks at Jack. (I about wrote Jay. )
"I can't leave my partner. I would be a disgrace."

(It's so hard transferring from saying Jay to Jack Especially considering they're so close in spelling )

"Well, suck it up then" Jack said with a small laugh

(Ikr?!)

Ryker laughs.
"I love how you can back talk to my dragon."

Jack smiles "It's true though! If he isn't going to leave, he needs to suck it up and be.. well... a dragon!" Jack says

Ryker grins.
"You heard her, Ash. Man up."

The grey dragon just glares.

Jack playfully glares back at the dragon. She giggled as she stared up at the sky.

Suddenly I stop by the gate and slide down it onto the cold, wet ground. Tears fall down my face but I make no sound to betray my feelings. My fox eyes glisten brightly in the light within the darkness of my hood. My ears twitch as I listen to all around me but do not move.

Ryker and Jack had begun to reach the gate. Ryker noticed
Jyerin, but the demon seemed to want to be alone, so he didn't bother him.

Jack cheerfully walked inside, soaking wet of course.

Ryker chuckles.
"You're soaked."

After some time there, I stand up and walk through it toward my destination. As I do the thickest mist envelopes the area beyond the school. From my room a dark aura glows within. The note falls onto the ground and is blown outside into the rain. Replacing it is the symbol of the group, the symbol of ones that desire me for their own. It is a hand holding a bolt of lightning wrapped in chains. I continue on my way toward the pass, alone. Tears still fall down my cheeks as I tread through the rain and wind.

Jayce spots Jyerin heading off and she changes to her demon form, following him, but staying well hidden.

"I see." Ami says.

Pascel sighs.
"We lose too many ninja every year."

"Yes I am... But so are you!" Jack said with a laugh. "I hope sensei won't be too mad at me"

"How so?" Ami asks confused.

Ryker laughed, then cocked his head.
"Why would sensei be mad at you?"

Pascel shakes his head.
"Ambushes and kidnappings."

"I'm as soaked as possible" Jack replied with a laugh

Ryker grinned.
"They won't care, don't worry."

"Alright, fine" Jack said with a smile

Ryker smiles and turns to see Hiruko sensei walking toward them. He bows.

Jack bows as she sees Ryker bow

Hiruko smiles.
"Hello."

"Hello, Sensei" Jack says with a polite bow.

Hiruko smiles.
"Please. I'm not very formal. Just call me Hiruko."

"Oh okay, Hiruko" Jack says with a smile

Hiruko smiles and nods.
"I see you are all doing well. Our scout, Topec, reported Shadow Ninja wandering around."

Jack nodded "Oh dear" She said

Hiruko looks at her.
"Have you seen any?"

"I think I may have... Hey, Ryker, were those ninjas we encountered Shadow Ninjas? I can't remember" Jack asked

Ryker nods solemnly.
"They were."

Hiruko shakes his head.
"Oh no. And Topec is out there in the rain scouting. The poor boy is not good at fighting!" He says in worry and takes off.

"Should we follow?" Jack (almost put Jay again >.>) asked, looking in the direction Hiruko ran off in.

Ryker shakes his head.
"Nah. Hiruko can take care of it. Poor Jay. If Topec gets hurt or kidnapped, she'll be devastated."

"Why is that?" Jack asked, sitting on the floor as she leaned up against a nearby wall.

Ryker smiled as he sat beside Jack.
"Because Jayce and Topec both have little crushes on each other."

"Oh really now" Jack (OMG I PUT JAY AT FIRST >.>) said with a small giggle.
