"It is true. We do not know Migx and Vern enough to fully trust them. But we trust them enough to trust them with the Elixir. I can give you some of the cure, but you must keep it a secret of utmost importance. The SEP must not know of this. Follow me to my lab and I will show you how the Elixir is made.", Historius said. He then walked into the Lab, ready for creation.

Calia walked into the lab, the other three following nervously behind.

Vern followed as well, but Migx hesitated. "Eh, this is gonna be boring," Migx said before trying to walk away. But Vern grabbed his arm and dragged him inside.

"Alright. Now that everyone is here, Calia, I want you and your friends to promise to never tell a soul about this. The world might just get worse if you tell.", Historius said.

OOC: sorry I haven't been active guys. I started High School this week and my laptop is broken for right now, meaning I have to be on my parent's laptop. Even then I am really busy this week, so I will continue with my roleplay sometime this weekend, hopefully.

And again, thanks for all the support you guys are giving this RP. You three are pretty much the only ones who have stuck with this RP since the beginning, let alone the only ones left doing this RP, and it means a lot that you guys still continue with this one.

"We won't tell anyone." All of them said in unison.

"Alright, I will show you how it is made.", Historius said. He combined a Rawst Berry, Chesto Berry, Cheri Berry, Aspear Berry, Pecha Berry, all ground up into a pulp. He mixed in a portion of Berry Juice, with the powders of a Revive and a Dusk Stone. Last but not least, he added the Sacred Ash with the fibers of a Reaper Cloth. He put the elixir in a bottle. "Conner, your arm, if you please.", Historius said. He nodded, and held out his arm. Historius then extracted a small amount of blood with a syringe. "The most important part: The enzyme, which I will now call the Eliminator.", Historius said. He put the blood inside the elixir. "Now tell me: What do you think of the Elixir, and do you understand why I want to keep this a secret?", Historius questioned.

"The elixir looks like it could work." Calia said. "And I understand why you want to keep it a secret." "If the SEP found out, there would be large rewards for those of us who are immune to be brought in." Pete nodded, but thought to himself, "That's why we need to stay out of this."

"Exactly. Now, I think we need another Pokemie to show you it would work. Conner would you get another Pokemie from the Wasteland? "Historius said. "My pleasure.", Conner answered. "Vern, would you go with him, just in case that fool Varmy comes again.", Historius questioned Vern.

Vern watched as the potion was made. Deep down, he was still thinking of his friends. He didn't want to break their trust, but he still wanted the elixer, to help save his friends who have been turned to pokemies. ...But that's if the pokemies didn't kill his friends.

Eventually, Vern woke up from day dreaming. "Vern, would you go with him, just in case that fool Varmy comes again?" Historius asked him.

"Huh, yeah, that's probably a good idea," Vern said to Historius.

"Good. You should get going now. Be quick, if you can.", Historius said to Conner and Vern. "We will try to be quick. Come on Vern, let's grab a Pokemie.", Conner said to Vern and Historius. He grabbed his special pouch of sleeping powder on his way out.

"Okay," Vern said as he followed Connor. He couldn't help but notice the Sleeping Powder. "What's that for?" he asked. "Are Pokemies susceptible to Sleeping Powder?"

"Yes. You see, the easiest way to catch a Pokemie is to make it fall asleep. As I do not know any moves pertaining to sleep, I use, the sleeping powder. There should be a Pokemie nest close by.", Conner answered Vern.

"Well, I know Hypnosis," Vern said. "I could try putting one to sleep, too. Wait... there's one now. ...Huh?" Vern eventually saw a Pokemie. It was a Mr. Mime. A Mr. Mime with a crooked tuft of hair on one side of his head, a bandage on his right shoulder, some black smudge below his right eye, and a black glove on his hand. "...Francis?" Vern said, acting like he recognized the Mr. Mime.

OOC: Can the Pokemie be one of Vern's old friends? I don't plan on making him a full-fledged character, but...

OoC:Sure, but let him contribute to the story.

"This Pokemie was one of your friends? In any case, we should put him to sleep.", Conner said. He hit the Pokemie with a puff of sleeping powder, and it dropped asleep.

"What do you need us to do?" Calia asked.

"Well, I have nothing at the moment for you to do, but feel free to look around the hut. If you want to leave, that is fine, but we wouldn't be able to show to show you if the Elixir works.", Historius answered.

Vern looked at the Mr. Mime. "Francis... I guess we should take him back to the shelter," he said. "At least there's no idiot father of mine this time around."

Heart looked at his map. they had at least 2 more miles before reaching Apple City's ruins.

"Let us bring him back. We can heal him here, but I do want to show Calia and her friends that the Elixir works. Help me carry him.", Conner responded. He then lifted him up.

Pete walked over to Calia and whispered, "We shouldn't get involved in this." "You know we've been trying to lay low." Cameron and Emily nodded in agreement. Calia sighed and said, "Yes, I know, bu I want to help as much as possible."

"I suppose," Vern said as he got to one side and helped carry his friend.

Eventually, they got back to the hut, with Historius waiting. "Good, you got back all well. Now, just set him in the cage there, and just wait until he wakes up.", Historius told Vern and Conner.

"Please don't hurt him," Vern said, helping Conner hoist him into a cage.

"Don't worry. We are just keeping him in here until he wakes up.", Conner answered Vern.

Calia began walking around the hut, looking at everything inside.

"The Pokemie is coming around. Get prepared to spray Conner.", Historius said.

"This is remarkable." Calia thought. "An actual solution to the virus." "I thought it would take many more years before anyone even scratched the surface of making a cure."

"Well, it does help when you have someone who is immune and is cooperative. The Pokemie is awake Conner, spray him!", Historius said. Conner then sprayed the rabid thing. It quickly calmed, and changed back to it's normal self.

"Francis?" Vern asked. "Francis? Is that you? Francis?" The Mr. Mime's head was spinning as he looked around and saw the others. He immediately looked at Vern. "Vern? ...Are you Vern?" he asked. "The only Drowzee I ever knew was named Vern, so I'm assuming that's you, right?" Vern smiled. "Thank goodness you're alright, Francis," he started. "I'll never forget what that idiot father of mine did." Francis tilted his head. "Huh? What happened now?" Vern couldn't help but feel happy, but he noticed Francis didn't have all his memory.

"He is healed. Francis, do you remember what happened with you and Vern's father, Varmy?", Historius asked the confused Mr. Mime.

Francis started scratching at his head. "No, I don't," he said.

"Hmm... Well, whatever he went through must have caused him to hit his head. Vern, do you remember how long he has been transformed?", Historius said.

Vern scratched his head. "At LEAST three or five years," Vern said. "Or at least it's felt like that. I spent a long time getting away from Vern on this excruciating journey, so it might be less than that. ...Or even more."

Well, his continual Pokemie form might've caused some memory loss. I think it is for the best though. I wouldn't want to remember what I could've been through with Varmy.", Historius said.

"I wonder where that idiot Varmy is, anyway," Vern asked himself, and whoever was listening.

"Well, we would need to head back to the Wastelands. We need to heal some more Pokemies. Vern, Migx, are you ready to head out again?", Conner asked them, preparing a pack.

"What about the others?" Migx asked, pointing to Calia, Cameron and Emily.

OOC: again, sorry I haven't been active. been a busy week.

"So, was that your brother back there?" Crystal asked Tika.
"Um, yeah, it was, why you ask?"
"He just seems like a nice Pokémon. What does he do?"
"He works for the SEP. He was at New Angeles last night."
"Oh wow, is he okay?"

Tika thought. it never came to her to ask him that question. "Um... Yeah, he's fine." Tika lied.

"Oh, that's good."
"Yeah, it is." The thought made Tika worry though. "What if Mars has ever gotten really hurt and I've never been there for him? Am I really a great sister like I thought I was?"

"Hey guys!" yelled Soul and Heart. Crystal and Tika caught up with them.
"What's up?" Tika asked.

Soul gulped. he pointed to a city. It looked really old- vegetation could be seen growing from where they were. it looked decades old. in the front area were some Pokemies.

"We're here. Welcome to fabulous Apple City."

"Hmm.... good question Migx. Calia, Cameron, Emily, would you like to join our little party?" Conner asked.

"As long as we can help, we'll be happy to join." Calia said.

"Well that is fine. Prepare to leave. We should probably try and find where Heart and Soul went. I remember them saying that they were heading back to New Angeles. Let's head back. Things might have gotten better.", Conner said. He shouldered his pack, and clipped on his Elixir spray.

"Sounds good to me." Calia said. The others followed her without question, though Pete had some talking to do with Calia when he got the chance.

"Yes, I suppose we can go there," Migx said following the others. But Vern stayed where he was. "I... I think I need a minute to talk to Francis," Vern said. "May I stay here?"

"As long as Migx and Historius are fine with it, by all means you can stay. Historius, what do you think about the situation?", Conner said. "I'm fine with it, as long as he doesn't touch my important instruments.", Historius answered.

Migx turned around towards Vern. "Are you sure you'll be fine here?" he asked. Vern nodded. "Absolutely," he said. Migx started to head for the door. "Well... okay then." He then followed the others out.

"Why are we headed out to find someone else if we need to ind and cure he pokemies?" Emily asked.

"You see, I am friends with Heart and Soul's group, and we trust each other, so I gave them some Elixir spray. I would like to see their progress, so I would go back to their destination. Besides, we need to have somewhere to go to find Pokemies, right? We should make a nice pace. It will take an hour walk, so save your energy." Conner answered Emily. He then walked out to the Wasteland, hoping Heart, Soul, Tika, and Crystal were okay.

Emily nodded and followed Conner and Calia.

Migx raised his hand. "Is it like some sort of a crime that I've already forgotten who they are?" he asked.
