Chapter 78: The Queen's Orders

"i can't believe we're stuck in here again." a male voice grumbled.
"i know what you mean, Tynan. being put back in Slean's dungeuon over and over gets pretty tiring." a female sighed.
"you two been stuck in here before?" an older male asked.
"too many times, Tundra..." the female sighed.
"so, Zanna, what now?"
"i don't know. i guess we just wait for Firefly to come save us."
"the heck with that plan. i'm busting out of here myself." Tundra snorted. he then walked up to the bars of the cell they were in.
"wait, Tundra. now is not the best time to use violence. we are greatly out numbered here, and will only be chased down again if we try to leave." an older male spoke.
"so, what are you saying, Delano? we just stay here til we rot?"
"he's got a point. we can't stay locked up here forever." another male grumbled.
"i know that, Hashim. we won't be here forever. we simply wait for Firefly to come here."
"how do you know she will?" a male hissed.
"i just know, Snake. she saw us get captured, and she will come to our aid."
"Delano's right. she is our friend, and she will come back for us. she has to." a female said.
"but what if she doesn't, Aisha? then what? we rot here?" Hashim grumbled.
"no. we will not rot. if, and only if, Firefly does not come to our aid soon, we shall free ourselves if necessery." Delano answered.
"what do we do until then?" another voice asked.
"we simply wait, Titus, and pray that Slean does not kill Icetalon." Delano answered.
:meanwhile:
Icetalon lay in a large, dark room with candels lit all around the walls. he grunted and groaned, still weak from the battle. the wound in his stomach was still bleeding. then there was the sound of footsteps as a figure approached from the darkness.
"..............please............leave me be.............." Icetalon begged.
"begging for mercy, are we?" a female said with a sly smile. "how utterly pointless."
"..............Slean............please............is is not me..........you want............"
"no, it's not. but i do, however, want another ice dragon. and you, Icetalon, will help me find him." she grinned evily.
"...............i..........can't...........i'm............weak.........." he groaned in pain. then Slean approached him, and held out her paw over his wound. her paw began to glow green, and soon his wound was healed.
"not anymore. you are healed. now, do not make me regret saving you." she snarled. he looked at her, surprised at what she did. "on your feet!" she ordered. he then slowly got up, and looked at her.
"why me? what would you possibly want with me?"
"i told you, i need to find another ice dragon."
"don't you have enough prisoners? or are you wanting to kill a random dragon?"
"i assure you, it is not random. i want the ice king." she said with a cold stare.
"the ice king? Glacier? why him?"
"now why would i tell you? hmm? what i discuss with Glacier is strictly our buisness, and does not concern you."
"it does if you plan on killing him. since i am an ice dragon, it is partially my duty to protect the king. i will not allow you to harm him, nor will i aid you in finding him." he snarled. then Slean struck him, hitting him to the ground. he looked up at her.
"do not try to go agaisnt me, Icetalon. i have ways of making you do as you are told. i had no intention of actually doing anything to an old fool like you, but i will if i must. now, take me to Glacier."
"screw you." he growled. then Slean slashed his face. he groaned, and then looked up at her with a cut on his left eye.
"i will give you one last chance. assist me, or i shall use force." her eyes narrowed. Icetalon stood up, and looked her right in the eyes. he glared in anger, and started to defy her again, but then he thought for a minute. "well? have you learned your lesson?" she sneered. Icetalon sighed, and lowered his gaze.
"i will do............ as you wish.........." he lowered his head in shame. Slean grinned and chuckled evily.
"good. it seems you are not as foolish as you appear." she chuckled lightly. then she held out a paw, and a spiked, black collar appeared. she then struck Icetalon down, making him fall to the ground. then she put the collar on him. "this is just to make sure you stay true to your word. we don't want you defying me again, now do we?" she grinned.

frost: I'm gunnnaaaa DIIIIEEEE!!!
me: what?
FROST: DIIIEEE
me: your loony!
frost: yes... yes i am

F: frost, your not gonna die. Slean isn't even after you.
nope. she's after the ice king.
Fy: that darn dragoness. wait til i get my claws on her!
uh, Firefly, you dont know what shes up to.
Fy: oh. right. i dont. still, i'll find a way to stop her. eventually.

Frost: I"M GUNNA DIEE!!!!!
me: dude! chill!
frost: KYLE'S GUNNA KILL ME!
me: I'm gunna kill ya if ya don't shut up!

Frost, calm down!
F: ugh, i'm getting tired of this..... *sneaks up on Frost and sedates him*

frost: *falls asleep*
me: thank you!

F: your welcome.

Uh oh i dont like how that chapter ended, seems like tundras dad is in trouble not good.

Tundra: Well good thing that worked, otherwise i was just thinking of poisoning him enough to knock him out. But that works too.

yeah, the ice king is about to get a visitor...

Firefly: you shouldn't use poison to knock him out. what if it actually hurts him?

Yeah not good...

Tundra: No no, my dose would only knock him out, I would never kill him unless he tried to kill me first. Im not that messed up firefly, it'll just knock him out.

Firefly: i didn't say you would intentionally, Tundra, i was just worried that it might accidently happen. i mean, knocking him out is fine, but your poison, whether you mean to or not, may hurt him. i just didn't really want to take the chance.
Zanna: she has a point there. just saying. we know you wouldn't hurt him unless he tried to hurt you.
Tynan: if it were me, i'd probally just blow him away with wind.
Flash: or you could entertain him, you know, tell a story or something.
it's getting awfully crowded over here...

Tundra: "Yeah i know you guys, but i've practiced my ability countless times, and its a small non leathal dose, it wouldnt hurt him just knock him out. Now i could knock him out like i usually do with my claws. But i doubt we want that." *He said walking up to firefly and laying down next to her.

Flash: *flies over to Tundra* just keep your paws where i can see 'em, buddy. i got my eyes on you.
Firefly: don't mind him. he just thinks he's like my dad because he gave me a name.
Tynan: *mutters* some dragonflies don't know when to keep thier mouth shut... *walks over to Firefly and lays down beside her*
Flash: *flies over to Tynan* i heard that!
Zanna: oh, relax, Flash, he didn't mean anything by it. *sits down*
Flash: *flies over to Zanna* well, if you say so. *smiles*

Tundra: *Looks over at flash and nods* "Well dont worry i dont mind, he's being a good friend at least, but i aint here to hurt no one. Especially not pretty dragonesses. *he said looking at firefly.*

Tynan: dragonesses are more than just pretty. those black dragons learned that the hard way, eh, Firefly? *winks, and bumps her with his elbow*
Firefly: i didn't hurt them that bad. i just scared them, mostly. guess since i'm the first Empath in a while, they got scared 'cause of my power.
Zanna: makes sense. very few have possesed the power of Empathy, and those that have were only in your family line.
Flash: talk about a powerful family... *laughs nervously*

Tundra: Yeah ture firefly is very powerful in deed, and who said pretty dragonesses aint strong.

Zanna: well, its nice that Firefly proved she has power, but im still stuck seeing visions.
Tynan: oh, don't put yourself down, Zanna. your visions are really helpful.
Flash: yeah, besides, who needs to have a heck alot of power to be useful? i mean, look at me. im just a dragonfly, and i still prove to be helpful. *holds his head high with pride*
Firefly: yeah, you're a lot of help. *chuckles lightly*

Tundra: Zanna your visions is something special, just like firefly's. Not many have that power, and your using it for the better of the world that makes it that more special. Everyone has something unique, even flash as surprising as that is. His mouth never stops running. hehehe

Flash: well, someone has to keep the conversation going, and entertain people.
Tynan: and someone needs to see things that no one else can, so that we know more about the world around us. *smiles at Zanna*
Zanna: i guess my visions are speacial, but it'd be nice if i had something else.
Firefly: yeah, i know what you mean. i still can't believe i have power.

Tundra: yeah well flash does make things interesting.

Flash: *holds head high* i certainly do.
Zanna: Flash, you're so full of it. *chuckles lightly*
Flash: *isnt watching where hes going, and flies into a tree*
all: *chuckle*
Tynan: hey, Flash, watch out for that tree! *laughs*
Firefly: *chuckles* you ok?
Flash: *gets unstuck from the tree bark, and looks at them* yeah.... i meant to do that.... *smiles*

Tundra: Well that was a funny moment for sure hehe. Well now what other than flash acting like he's completely lost it.

Flash: *puts on Shakespears outfit and suddenly looks serious* i have many talents, you know.......... to be, or not to be....... makes absolutely no sense!
all: *chuckle*
Zanna: bravo, sir. bravo! *claps*
Tynan: who needs Tv when you got him?
Firefly: well, we have the show, now if only we had the dinner.

Chapter 79: Do Not Disturb

two figures flew towards a large castle with ice and snow all around.
"so....... this is the old king's castle, hmm?" a female grinned.
"yes, Slean... this is it...." a male answered, shamefully.
"oh, relax, Icetalon. you have done wonderfully." she grinned. they soon landed on a large platform sticking out from the side of the castle. the platform led inside to a large room full of equipment. Slean looked around with a gleam in her eye. "ah, yes, how good it is to be here..... again....." she grinned.
"again? you have been here before?" Icetalon asked, a bit surprised. she turned to look at him.
"oh, only once or twice." she chuckled lightly. "come." she said as she walked towards the large room. "i must see the king at once." she continued. Icetalon followed with a heavy sigh. Slean and Icetalon walked down the hallway. Slean was calm and confidant, not worried at all about being found by someone other than the king. Icetalon, however, appeared rather guiltful. then there was a voice call out from behind them.
"halt!" a female shouted. "you do not belong here!" she growled. Slean chuckled lightly, and turned around to face her. Icetalon turned around as well.
"actually, Polaris, i believe you have that backwards." she grinned.
"no, Slean, i don't. the king is not to be disturbed, least of all by you."
"how rude. i am the speacial favorite of the king. so, Polaris, be a dear, and tell me where the king is." she smiled sweetly. Polaris growled, grabbed Slean by the throat, and slammed her agaisnt the right wall.
"how dare you return! and how dare you come to see him! i was sent here to protect King Glacier, and that is exactly what i must do!" she growled.
"wrong! you were sent here to keep him from me. you see, dear, if not for you, he would most likely be living in my lair. the old fool was quite charmed by me. which is perhaps why a dragoness was sent here to restrain him. he may be a sensible and strong dragon, but when it comes to a beautiful dragoness, he loses all sense and control. a few more visits and i would have had him under my spell, so to speak. normally, i use magic, but with him, there was no need. so, why don't you just return to wherever it is you came from? hmm? because you won't be able to stop me from getting to Glacier." she said. Polaris roared, and threw her to the other wall.
"you're insane if you think i'll just let you get to him!" she growled. Slean got up, and looked at her.
"perhaps i am a tad manic, but you dear, are truly insane, losing your temper and what-not. now, move aside, both of you, and allow me to further continue my search." she said, calmly. Icetalon stepped aside, Polaris didn't budge. "oh, dear. do not make me use force, Polaris. i have not quarrel with you." she said.
"but i have one with you!" she growled. then Polaris took a deep breath, and let out a strong gust of wind. Slean yawned, and then teleported behind her. Polaris stopped, and snarled.
"behind you, dear. i do believe you missed." she said. Polaris whirled around, and shot ice shards. Slean teleported behind her again. "i must say, you're aim is quite." she said with a slight grin. Polaris whirled around once more, roaring as a wave of water rose up from behind her, filling up the hallway, and charging towards Slean. Slean teleported out once more, this time, to an entirely diffrent room, leaving Polaris and Icetalon in the water-logged hallway. Slean appeared in the throne room, where Glacier was proudly sitting, until he laid eyes on her. "ah, Glacier, how nice to see you again." she smiled sweetly. "i ran into Polaris, or rather, she found me. i hope you do not mind that i left her swimming in her own little lake." she chuckled lightly. Glacier stepped down from his throne, and approached her.
"what are you doing here, Slean?" Glacier asked, his tone niether angry or cheerful.
"i simply wanted to visit." she smiled. he scoffed.
"you don't visit, not without a reason. come to rip out my heart, have you? oh, foolish me, you already did that." he snarled at the end.
"i realize i have hurt you, Glacier. and i came to--"
"what? apoligize?" he scoffed. "or to ask me to take Rouge? or maybe to take Tundra? or are you finally going to kill me? the possibilities are endless. i bet this isn't even you. this is probally a clone. where's the real you?"
"this is the real me. no tricks, no pranks, no plans. i came to talk."
"talk? you don't talk, Slean. you act. you play tricks. you kill. making conversation is not what you do."
"Glacier, you only met me twice, and we didn't exactly share any information with each other. we lived in the moment. there's a lot you don't know about me."
"oh, really? like what? Polaris showed me the truth! you're evil! that's all i need to know!" he growled. "gaurds! gaurds!" he shouted. then Slean tackled him, pinned him to the ground, and covered his mouth. he mumbled, trying to speak. footsteps rushed towards the room.
"i can not have you ruin this now." she whispered.
"are you ok, your majesty?!" voices called from the other side of the door.
"yes, i am fine. i am in an important meeting with someone. i am not to be disturbed by anyone for any reason." Slean said, disguising her voice to sound like his.
"yes, my lord." they said, and walked away. she looked at once they were gone.
"now, you and i will not be interrupted." she said to him.

wow this is good i cant wait what happens next.

Chapter 80: Gone

"there it is, Slean's lair." Firefly said, as she flew towards the mountain with a determined expression.
"charge!" Flash shouted, pointing. he then flew faster. Firefly chuckled lightly as she flew along side him. they flew down to the entrance, where big double-doors were locked shut. they landed, and walked up to the doors.
"great, they're locked. now what?" she asked, a bit discouraged. Flash got out a small knife.
"watch and learn." he grinned. he flew up to the doors, and began picking at the lock. within moments, the doors opened.
"nice work!" Firefly grinned, walking up to him. "come on." she said as she walked inside.
"right behind you, buddy!" he said, following her. they walked down the hallway, towards the dungeoun, and soon bumped into someone.
"watch where you're going!" a female snapped. Firefly and Flash looked to see a familiar face.
"Rouge! what are you up to?" she asked.
"oh, if it isn't little red. what brings you here? a rescue mission, maybe?" Rouge grinned.
"actually, yes. my friends were taken by Murkvenom and the others."
"oh, what a shame. i'm sure you miss them. and you'll just have to keep missing them, 'cause they're gone."
"what do you mean? where are they?" she asked. Rouge chuckled lightly.
"wouldn't you like to know..." she grinned. then she turned around, and walked away.
"now what?" Flash asked.
"to the dungeoun! hurry!" Firefly said. then she and Flash rushed down the hallway. when they finally reached the dungeoun, they found that it was empty.
"they're gone!" Flash gasped.
"told you." a voice said behind them. they turned around to see Rouge. "i tried to tell you that they were gone."
"what did you do with them?!" Firefly snarled.
"oh, nothing. i didn't do anything. Murkvenom, Frostbolt, and Goldstar did this. i had nothing to do with thier little plan. actually, its Mom's plan, but that's really besides the point."
"where are they?!" Firefly growled, losing patience.
"how should i know? i didn't move them. look, contrary to popular belief, i just work here, ok? i don't know any more than you do. or maybe i do, and i'm just not talking. either way, i had nothing to do with this. i simply do as i am told. mostly."
"if you know something, tell me!" she demanded.
"oh, i know a lot of things. what would you like to know?"
"where are my friends?!"
"ah, your friends. i don't know. Murkvenom did something with them. i don't know what. he wasn't exactly keen on telling me. maybe you can find him, or a minion, and get them to talk. but really, only a higher ranked minion will know what my mother's plans would be. and higher ranked minions are hard to find here, believe me."
"i don't really care about her plans right now, unless they involve my friends! now, where are they?!"
"ugh, arn't you listening? i said, i don't know. only Murkvenom, Frostbolt, or Goldstar would know that, and they're probally with them, following through with some sort of plan. and you won't find them easily, if at all."
"then lead me to them!"
"ok, one, i don't know where they went. and two, i wouldn't help you. we're enemies, remember?" she said. then Firefly tackled her, and pinned her to the ground.
"if you don't tell me something right now, i'm going to........" she trailed off, growling. "grah!" she growled. then her eyes glowed.
"oh, crap. i just ticked off the wrong dragon, didn't i?" Rouge asked.
"i'd surrender if i were you!" she growled.
"oh, so what, you're to use a fury on me now? you haven't mastered your powers."
"i don't need to, to defeat you!"
"actually, you kinda do. if you remember, i have a few tricks of my own. i could defeat you." she said. then Firefly glowed all over.
"are you sure about that?" she asked. Rouge kicked her off of herself. she then got up quickly.
"yeah, i'm pretty sure." she said. then Firefly got up, and glared at her.
"you can't stop me! i'm an Empath!"
"oh, you finally talked with your ancestors, huh? good for you. but its not enough. just knowing about your power isn't enough. you need to master it, and you haven't. and you're not invincible, you know. you can still lose a battle." she said. then Rouge's eyes glowed. "and you're just about to lose this battle." she snarled.

Yes firefly is finally going to fight little miss know it all. Kick her butt firefly!!! hahaha nice cynder cant wait for more!!!

thank you. yes, those two are finally going to fight. but who will win?
Firefly: i will, of course! i'm an Empath after all!
Rouge: pfft! being an Empath doesn't mean anything if you can't master your powers.

Tundra: We'll see you too, but i surely can beat my sister.

Rouge: in your dreams, maybe.
Firefly: hey, hold it. you can fight him later, but first, i get to kick your but.
Rouge: like you could ever beat me.

Tundra: Yeah even in my dreams i would kick it. and my dream would be your nightmare.

Rouge: as if. you two lameos could never beat me. i got way too many tricks up my sleeve to get beat by you losers.
Firefly: *eyes glow* wanna bet, hot shot?

Chapter 81: The Missmatch

Firefly growled as she charged at Rouge. however, she went right through her. she turned around to see five Rouges standing side by side.
"you missed." they all laughed. Firefly looked at them. none of them had glowing eyes. she knew Rouge's eyes glowed, and none of them had glowing eyes.
"copies." she snarled.
"catch us if you can." they laughed before bolting off in diffrent directions. Firefly stayed put. why chase an illousion.
"where are you, Rouge?" she asked.
"where are you, Rouge?" a familiar voice mocked from behind. Firefly turned around, and thought she was looking in a mirror.
"ok, its one thing to copy yourself, but don't copy me!" she growled.
"ok, its one thing to copy yourself, but don't copy me!" she clone growled back. then it laughed.
"quit it!" Firefly snarled.
"quit it!" the clone snarled. it then grinned. "how do you like my new clone?" it asked.
"huh? Rouge?" Firefly asked, surprised.
"over here, stupid." a voice chuckled from behind. Firefly turned around to see Rouge. her eyes were glowing. "the clone is just a clone." she grinned. then the Firefly clone walked over to Rouge, and sat down beside her. the five Rouge clones rushed up to thier creator, and sat down behind her. "you see, i can control all these at once." she said. the clones spoke with her. "and whatever i say, every clone says. they are, in some way, a part of me. connected to me." she said. the clones spoke as well. Fireflight blinked, somewhat confused.
"so you control them. you speak, they speak."
"yep." she said. then Rouge raised her right paw. every clone did the same. "that goes for movements too. if i don't tell them to do anything."
"tell them? they take orders?"
"in the mind. telepathy. gotta love it." she grinned. every clone spoke and grinned when she did. Firefly glared at her, still glowing. the red aura that surrounded her soon appearing to look like fire. "huh?" Rouge and the clones asked.
"looks like i have a few tricks too." she grinned. she then unleashed a fire breath on Rouge and the clones. the clones disappeared, and so did Rouge. Firefly stood there a moment, thinking. "woah. fire. neat." she smiled. "i could get used to this Empathy thing." she grinned. she then looked around. "ok, Rouge, where are you hiding?" she asked.
"hiding? why hide? i told you, you're losing this fight." a voice said from behind. Firefly turned around.
"yeah, right, Rouge. i got fire power now. you're fighting a losing--" then Firefly stopped when Rouge disappeared. "--battle." she finished with a sigh. "great. just great." she said, sarcastically. Flash came out of hiding.
"is she gone?" he asked, sounding nervous. Firefly looked at him, and stopped glowing. "'cause, you know, i wasn't scared one bit." he said.
:meanwhile:
Rouge teleported to a large, dark, round room. three large figures were in the room, gathered around a vision pool.
"well? is the plan complete?" she asked them.
"not yet. we were waiting for you, Rouge." a male voice replied.
"Murkvenom, i told you to do away with little red's friends. why haven't you completed that simple task yet?"
"we had a diffrent idea." a female spoke up.
"do tell, Goldstar." Rouge said.
"we could turn them. all of them. turn allies agaisnt each other. that is always fun." she grinned evily.
"true. but that wasn't the plan. my mother will return soon, and she rather have them dead."
"but we would be better prepared if our army was larger." another male added.
"it is not our army, Frostbolt. this army, which we are a part of, belongs to my mother. we are simply pawns in her master plan to bring about darkness to this world, part of which has been completed. i asked you three stooges to kill off little red's friends, that of which you have failed to do. look, i don't care how you kill them, just get off your lazy buts, and do it now! we must not let my mother return to find them still alive, or she will have all of our heads'! now go! and do let me catch you off wandering around with those innocents alive!"
"yes, ma'am." they bowed, respectively. then they disappeared from the room. Rouge approached the vision pool.
"show me what i seek..." she said, looking in it.

Hmmm guess rouge escaped the fight. what a coward.

Tundra: Hehe yeah all tricks and no fight.

hmm, but she didn't just leave. she met up with the others, telling them to kill off Firefly's friends. she apparently had a job to do, er, finish.
Firefly: doesn't matter. she's still a coward.
Rouge: coward?! i'm no coward! with my mother out, who knows where, i'm stuck taking her place! i mean, someone had to get those knuckleheads to finish the job!

Tundra: Yeah.... i call that cowardly...

LOL yeah i see well i wonder what happens next.

Rouge: *growls* i'll show you whose a coward! *leaps into the air, claws reaching out to attack*
Firefly: hey! you're supposed to fight me, chicken! *leaps up to tackle her*

Tundra: *Stays waiting for her to get closer, but then sees firefly tackle her* Whoa! Hey firefly let her attack me, i wont get hurt trust me....

*the two females ignore him as they roll around on the ground, clawing at each other*

Tundra: oh boy guess i have to do this, he said as he got rouge and pulled her off of firefly.

Rouge: gah! let me go! *kicks and screams*
Firefly: *gets up, brushes herself off. looks at Rouge, and spits her tounge out* na na na na na!

Tundra: "Would you relax rouge! and Firefly put that tongue away before I freeze it!" He said letting rouge go but away from firefly as he stood in between them.

Firefly: hmph. *pulls tounge back into mouth*
Rouge: *glares at Firefly and growls*

Tundra: Thank you... *stares back at rouge.* relax rouge please?

Rouge: you're not the boss of me. *turns away*
Firefly: *mutters* coward...
Rouge: *glares at Firefly*

Tundra: firefly chill. And rouge I just care for you ok.
