the day soon became night. dark clouds covered the mountain. the caves glowed with bright purple light. it seemed cold. ''this place is so...evil...'' he whispered to himself, as he curled himself around garnet's slender body. ''sa-sapphire...?'' she murmured. ''yes, garnet?'' ''oh...you just woke me up...but i don't care...'' ''shh! you need some rest.'' he said softly to her, pressing his head against her's. ''good night, sapph...'' said garnet, giving him a lick on the head then closed her eyes. he enjoyed watching her sleep, but he knew that he needed his strengh to help continue the long quest in search for his father. he layed his head down on her rising flank, then slowly drifted away into sleep. sapphire looked up. he noticed that the sapphire dragons were still there. mist grew thicker, and a pair of bright blue eyes glanced at him. grandfather? he yowled. grandfather, are you there? sapphire swiveled his body around to see the massive silver dragon. his figure seemed well-muscled as usual, and his white tailblade shimmered in the moonlight. when there's a time of war, you're going to have to learn where your rival's weak spot is. i'm going to teach you another move that the sapphire dragon uses when an enemy traps you. the blueclaw. echoed shirox, raising his chin. sapphire's eyes widen when he noticed the silver dragon taking the shape of one of darkuss's followers. shirox hissed at him, making sapphire take a few steps back. then he noticed his claws lighting up. sapphire lunged into the air, lashing his claws at shirox's chest. the dragon smiled as he returned to his normal self. you're quite a fast learner like your father. be sure to use this when confronting darkuss, and you shall become the mighty dragon like your father. thank you! shirox nodded slowly. ''WAKE UP!'' yowled garnet. ''no i'm waking him up!'' ''no me!'' sapphire's eyes shot open. he turned to garnet. ''what time is it..?''
''its dawn silly!'' giggled topaz. garnet muttered something under her breath so topaz couldn't hear her. ''lets go wake the others.''

''and yet, everytime i look at you, i see him.'' sapphire couldn't help but smile. he felt so proud to be the son of the great leader, carrying his blood through many generations ahead. ''you ready?'' said terron firmly, his muscles rippling. ''yes,'' said sapphire, glancing in garnet's direction. her scarlet scales shimmered in the rays of sun peering through the cave walls. he loved her, he knew he couldn't loose such a beautiful, protective red dragoness such as her. for he had already given his heart to her. topaz let out a snort, as the dragons took off through the chilling winds. the seasons were changing. and new-leaf is coming. ''you know, why don't we head to the ice caps first.'' insisted topaz in a soft, yet annoyed voice as she glared at garnet. ''sure, why not?'' he agreed with the yellow dragoness. garnet wasn't pleased with sapphire agreeing with topaz's decision, but she gritted her teeth. ''sure! and we could all go there and suffer of hypothermia!'' she spat. ''we're dragons. we can handle anything!'' smiled topaz. d**n eclipse dragons! they're so full of atitude! garnet snarled but continued to follow sapphire.

''hey!'' he yowled. the dragoness didn't say anything. ''wait!'' sapphire scampered through the snow, trying to reach her. the snow blinded him. he blinked for a few seconds. ''gah!'' suddenly he clashed into the white dragon. ''watch where you're going!'' she hissed. ''this is my territory!'' ''i'm sorry.'' ''wait...you're...you're the son...of the leader!'' she gasped, taking a few steps back. ''yeah?'' he tilted his head. ''please excuse me, i'm snowstorm. i'm very glad to meet you.'' she said, dipping her head respectfully. ''there's no need to bow your head.'' he said softly. ''by the way, i'm sapphire.'' garnet stalked over next to him, along with topaz. ''oh! this is garnet, and this is topaz.'' ''hey!'' said garnet. ''hi!'' the two dragonesses once again locked their eyes on eachother like bitter rivals. ''okay you two!'' chuckled sapphire. ''will you help us?'' ''sure, anything!'' she giggled. ''how old are you?'' asked garnet. ''i'm ten!'' ''ten? sapphire, me, and topaz are all fifteen.'' ''do you know a dragon who goes by the name birkat?'' ''yes! he lives at the frozen fall in the south. i'll take you there!'' ''thank you!'' purred sapphire. ''we owe you one.'' smiled garnet. stupid eclipse dragons...! d**n topaz dragons...!! they thought as they glared at eachother with full fury in their eyes. ''kay girls, seriously.'' ''i love you with all my heart sapphire!'' sapphire blushed. ''er....'' garnet pushed her aside. ''ignore her...'' she snarled, facing topaz. ''lets go!'' sapphire glanced at the frozen lake. he noticed dried blood from the war that his father fought. but there was something else here to that left him wondering... what happened? garnet pressed her head against his side. raven grunted. ''that dragoness is really pretty...'' ''who? the yellow one?'' laughed crow, elbowing him with her wing. ''well, yeah...but, she likes sapphire...no one will ever love me...'' ''now that's not true brother.'' she assured him. ''go to her.'' urged the black, and purple dragoness. ''later.'' said raven. sapphire swiftly landed upon the icey falls. though for a few moments his paws slipped, but he manage to pull himself up. garnet hissed at topaz. ''go anywhere near him...and you wont live to see another day...'' topaz took a few steps back. ''this isn't over, eclipse dragon. remember that.'' garnet chuckled. ''oh please, what're you gonna do, bite me with those little fangs of yours?'' topaz clawed the ground once more. ''alright guys.'' sapphire said calmly. ''we need to pick up the pace. that little ice dragon moves fast.'' garnet glared at topaz. then after a few moments they nodded then continued to follow him. ''i don't understand. if this part of the realms are still full of life, and warmth, why is the waterfall iced over?'' ''i remembered this place.'' said blood. ''yes, while we were crossing the river the ice some how broke aprt and the falls began to run at high speeds. xay was pulled down along with it and...'' she paused. ''it wasn't until your father, mother, and i who pulled him to safety. only then he was so weak that he couldn't move. he lost his leg that very day, but his spirit is still strong.'' ''and his mate was that one blind drogoness, with three legs?'' koratooth put in. ''yes, half white. half light dragon.'' ''so that's why there was blood here!'' sapphire gasped.

''easy, topaz! he looks like he came from a-'' she paused, turning her head in sapphire's direction. sapphire took a few steps forward. ''i'm sapphire, son of sapphiren. its an honor to meet you.'' said sapphire, dipping his head resspectfully. ''raise your head.'' ''huh?'' ''i'm birkat, one of your father's warriors, its my pleasure to meet you.'' said the large dragon, dipping his head as well. snowstorm giggled. ''its quite amazing, to know that your father had a son that looks just like him!'' birkat pointed out. ''i have a question, birkat...but how come the falls are frozen if the seasons change here?'' birkat raised his chin. ''i thought you might ask.'' he began. ''it is said that the ancestors, who came here, froze the water for a reason.'' he took a deep breath. ''four of them used the rarest elements....light, bluefire, darkness, and a mysterious element that noboy has uncovered yet. they say that only true dragons cross the river. when the ice shatters it protects itself from enemies, and when your father was crossing it darkuss's followers were there. causing it to shatter.'' sapphire was astonished. a river protecting itself? garnet sat beside him. listening.

''as you can see, sapph. once the enemies are gone, the river refreezes itself and....who's that?'' sapphire narrowed his eyes. garnet eyes grew round with fear. ''i know those two! its...darkuss's assasions!'' she yowled as she slipped across the ice till she reached dryland. ''everybody move, now!'' ordered sapphire. the dragons charged across the river at full speed. sapphire postioned himself on the ice, ready to strike. ''hurry kid!'' cried ghostfall, his purple eyes fixed on him. sapphire ignored him. ''YOU'RE MY OPPONENT!'' sapphire snarled. ''smart boy.'' hissed cyclone, slowly making his way across the ice. tthe hard ground began to crack underneath of them. sapphire looked down. so did cyclone. then cyclone raised his head. ''its over, kid. you're mi-'' the ice crumbled, leaving sapphire slipping beneath the ice. ''are we just going to sit here? we need to help him!'' said garnet, as the others followed her. sandstorm's eyes blazed at ronno. she growled underneath of her breath then raced towards the others. sapphire struggled to pull his way out, but the currents were too strong. waves came crashing down over him, sending him beneath the water. cyclone fought the waves hard but his head crashed against a rock. ronno watched as the two dragons suffered. ''i guess i should go help cyclone.'' he muttered to himself as he flew towards the river. sapphire paddled over to him, grabbing cyclone by the neck. ''HANG ON SAPPH!'' cried garnet. ''we're going to get you outta there!'' said topaz, trailing behind her. raven noticed a branch near by. ''guys look!'' he pointed out. ''we can use this to help pull sapphire out!''

''you gotta choice, let go of cyclone and drown or i'll pull you to shore and kill you.'' he grimmaced. sapphire held cyclone by the neck. the weighed of the dragon crushed him, forcing him underneath. great ancestors! what should i do?! he thought. shooting his head out of the raging waves. ''i know you're bad, cyclone. but i'm going to help you. every dragon needs a second chance.'' he told him, fighting the forces of the water. ''SAPPHIRE!'' called a voice. he twisted his head around to see garnet, topaz, and the others, all holding out a large branch for him to climb onto. ''HEY!'' spat crow. ''are you just going to watch? go help your friend!'' she growled, narrowing her eyes in ronno's direction. ''fine, i'll help you g*ts! but i wont like it.'' he snarled, flying across the river bed with torn wings. he grab hold of the branch with his fangs. ''alright everybody, lure it a little closer!'' ordered aliyah, sending the branch further. sapphire paddeled through the waves with his paws. he forced himseld to not let go of cyclone. he felt something solid underneath of him. he looked up. it was garnet at the very front of the large line of dragons. ''thanks!'' he purred. ''now, get terron to pull cyclone out of the falls!'' he said. ''but he's an enemy!'' garnet hissed. ''i understand, but we need to help him.'' ''i trust you, sapph. i always did.'' she smiled. terron stalked over to where the light gray dragon still hung near the falls edge. he clamped his jaws onto the back of his neck then pulled him out. when the two dragons reached dry land, sapphire was coughing out water. garnet stood beside him. so did topaz. raven, and crow layed beside him. ''oh....'' he moaned. ''you were very brave, sapphire.'' garnet said softly, nuzzeling. ''thanks, you guys were very brave too.'' he coughed. ''is he going to be alright?'' asked topaz. ''he's going to be fine.'' said blood. ''he's strong like his father. he'll recover faster then you think.'' she purred, licking the top of sapphire's head. ''he is strong, very.'' topaz put in. garnet snarled. how dare she hit on my man at a time like this! that stupid eclipse dragon. who does she think she is? the thought, shooting a glare at eachother. sapphire legs shook rapidly as he tried to get up. blood gently pulled him back down. Garnet pushed her way to the front. ''Who sent you?'' He chuckled. ''Heh! Funny you should ask? Actually, I'm here because your mother, Hypna, sent me to find you. She's been waiting for you for ages! And she's out looking for you right now!'' Xay panted, giving him a slit smile. ''But after a while she thought I was dead and gave up the search.'' ''She's back home! Is she safe?'' ''She's fine. Though I'm not even quite sure where your father may be.'' ''Here.'' Said Pravious, dropping a fish at Xay's paws. ''You will need your strengh.'' ''I'm a vampire dragon, I drink blood!'' He grunted. ''I understand, but also suck its juices too. It will give you the nutrients to continue the journey.'' ''Can we eat now?'' Asked Garnet, pressing her paw against her stomache. ''I'm starving! And we've been traveling for many days now...'' ''What's the matter, eclipse dragon? Don't have enough energy to stop me from loving Sapphire?'' She sneered. ''I certainly have enough energy to do that!'' She snarled, pinning her down with full force. ''Got anything else to say, punk?!'' Sandstorm giggled. Ghostfall pressed his head against her's while Raven locked his eyes on Topaz. Crow licked her paws, unamused with her older brother. ''You just can't keep your eyes off of her can ya Raven? Raven...?'' The black dragoness waved her paw over his face. ''Ello? Anybody there?'' She grunted. ''Boys.'' Sapphire sat next to Xay. ''Do you know where my father is?'' He asked, knawing on a silvery fish. ''No. But I know that he is out there, looking for you. Infact, Listiean and I have a son, Tovias.'' ''But if you're a vampire dragon and Listiean is a cross between light, and white...what's Tovias?'' ''He's a hybrid of light, white, and vampire. Though he is quite powerful.'' Xay dug his fangs into the fish's cold, soggy flesh. Sapphire could hear him slurp up the juices, and blood coming out of its helpless body. He watched as the fish slowly grew paler, and paler with every gulp. His eyes widen. ''Wow...'' Xay grunted. ''Its what we vampire dragons do. Its a natural instinct that we all must follow in order to survive, kid.'' ''I'm not a kid, Xay.'' Sapphire chuckled. ''I know your age.'' ''Oh really?'' ''You're fifteen, almost sixteen.'' The blue dragon gulped. ''Let me guess, you read minds?'' ''Nah, I was bored.'' Garnet tossed the fish into the air then caught it with her jaws. ''Stop playing with your food, eclipse dragon!'' Growled Topaz. ''Who says?'' She growled back. ''SHUDDUP!!!!!!!'' Snarled Kolbolt, his eyes bright yellow, and his fangs now sabors. Garnet glanced at Topaz, then glanced back at the red kai. ''Why?'' They both asked at the same time. ''Because I'm trying to eat here!'' ''Oh please Kolbolt, you chew louder then any of us here!'' Hissed Deanna, chomping on a small crab. ''She's right you know.'' Chuckled Ro'zan. ''Shut the **** up!'' He spat, digging his sabors into the moose's flesh. ''Where'd you get that moose?'' Raven put in, with Sapphire at his side. ''Hunting...'' Everyone glared at him for a moment. ''What?'' Sapphire smiled. ''Kolbolt!'' He laughed. Garnet lept onto Sapphire, knocking him down. She licked the side of his face. The two dragons smiled at eachother, but Topaz pushed Garnet out of the way. ''Oh Sapphire, may we have this kiss?'' He blushed. ''Er....'' ''Hey!'' Yowled Swiftshadow, carrying a heavy load of fish in his wings. Birkat stood next to him, along with Terron. ''We've broaght some food, took us a while though.'' ''YAYZ!'' Crow didn't say anything. ''Sure, whatever...'' She sighed. Garnet grabbed her by the shoulders. ''How could you say no to this?! Its meat!'' She shooked her, then faced Topaz.

''I'll try to heal him. I'm a cross between white, and light.'' ''Do the best you can!'' He growled, narrowing his dark green eyes. She snorted then placed a paw on his chest. ''Breath in slowly...'' Listiean instructed. ''Phoenixtail, go back to Litna. Fetch some of your warriors to go look for him. And if anything happens, I'll go look.'' Irodite ordered. ''May the ancestors watch over you.'' He dipped his head respectfully then took off. Flame was near by an old tree. Sapphire watched him as he used his tail like a weapon. ''Yes, Sapphire?'' ''Oh...that was cool, Flame. Could you possibly teach me how to master the tail like you...a bit better? I still need some work...'' ''Of course!'' Garnet glared at Topaz. ''Get any closer to Sapphire, and I'll kill you in your sleep...'' Topaz narrowed her eyes. ''We shall see for ourselves about that.'' Raven stalked his way over towards them. ''Hey guys! Check out Sapphire!'' Crow sat underneath a tree, unamused by her older sibling. ''PFFT.'' Sandstorm trotted up to her. She gave her a quick lick. ''Why don't you join them?'' She asked, her amber eyes soft with pleasure. ''Meh...'' ''Just try to get along. I've already lost you once...'' ''Oh, alright.'' The young black dragoness rolled her eyes then scampered over. Sapphire lashed his tailblade through the thick bark. ''Very nice, lighttail. Now lets see if you could make a lightblaze with it.'' Sapphire swung his tail in large circles into the air. It grew much larger and larger until it was a large glowing sphere. He grabbed it with his paws then tossed it Flame, knocking him off balance. ''Very...good...'' Stammered Flame, shaking the dirt off him. ''Thanks!''

Thank you guys! Cynder1 helped me come up with a name for dark Sapphire: Crueleon (named after a dark blue color) This is where it gets interesting. Raven is the male, Crow's the female.


Garnet felt fury raged through her. She hated Topaz. That b**ch! She hissed, her eyes glowing bright white. The yellow dragoness turned her head in her direction. Raven's eyes grew wide with fear. ''Garnet?'' He gasped, taking a few steps back. I'm not Garnet, you fool. The name's Bloodpool! Hissed the dark red dragoness, her claws glowing with pale silvery light. Her claws seemed a bit sharper then before, her tailblade now a dark gray, curved to a scopion like shape. Her scales once a beautiful scarlet color, now blood red, and her horns seemed to have form a cresent like shape. This has gone far enough, Topaz. You took Sapphire away from me...for this you shall die! Growled Bloodpool, snapping her jaws onto Topaz's throat. Sapphire raced over towards Bloodpool. ''Topaz!'' He yowled, knocking her off the side. Bloodpool hissed at him. I thought you loved me! ''I do, Garnet. No matter what... please...don't listen to Bloodpool, she;s nothing but darkness controlling your feelings! This isn't you...I love you...'' In an instant, Garnet shook her head. ''Sapphire! Help me! ARGH!'' Sapphire glanced at Topaz. ''Stay there...I need to help her.'' She nodded then turned to Raven. ''Please! Get her...AHH! Its so painful!'' ''You're doing fine Garnet.'' He placed a paw ontop of the dark dragoness's. ''Keep fighting.'' Garnet callasped. The darkness had left her. ''Oh...I never felt so dark...I don't like it...'' She whispered, rosing to her paws. Sapphire nuzzeled her. ''I'm here. Now lets help Topaz.'' ''Topaz...'' ''Yeah?'' ''Sorry...'' ''Its okay.'' Aliyah watched from a distance then dipped her head. Blood sat beside her. ''I know, I know. Its hard being Darkuss's daughters...''

I fell relly bad for topaz,she sould be deadD: She has a relly fragile neck(At birth, her bones where as holow as a birds) now that shes dead, time for Moonligt to get a little fun outa this>=3
