"Argh! All this waiting is horrible!" Shadow complained, "who else is supposed to be hear anyway?"
He looked back and forth trying to spot the last of the group. Nothing.
"Stop being so... Anoying..." Kumara replied, clearly irritated, "but I guess you're right. Where are the rest?"

"Yes, we will do a all we can to stop this darkness," Kumara said.
"And we will not fail!" Shadow added.

"Right...well, daylight's burning. Might as well." Aretis replied and then started off without the rest of the group. Not that he was leaving them behind, but y'know maybe he would scout ahead—not that they needed it. After all, Ceeador to Azicium was well worn and very protected.

Kumara took off slowly with Shadow closely behind. No need to waste energy this soon, but she would speed up if the others did.

Aretis blinked and looked at her and then looked away. "We should get in a habit of scouting ahead. That way, we can sense danger instead of having the whole party caught unawares by something. And as for Greyscale...well, I'm still thinking of a solution. I promise, I won't go too far ahead. Besides..." He gave her a little package. "You have my lunch." Aretis took off again, just itching to get away from everyone. It was in his eyes. There was only so much crowd he could take. Let him be or go with him. He hasn't been like this in a while.

"Who cares if he goes off on his own, if he gets himself in trouble, it's entirely his fault," Kumara replied.

"Are ya sure he can go by himself?" Skyward asked. "I don't want him crawling back to us with all of his bones broken."

Mistrain collapsed from the intensity of focusing his light energy to make an illusion of Skyward. "Mark my words, they won't mess with what they can't," he growled.

Aretis went to the gates and they lowered the barrier for him to fly through. He nodded to the guards and was out of Ceeador. Aretis knew his way well to Azicium. He had been there before making trips for Cenor and whatnot. The route was simple and fairly easy to follow. But he just had to get away from the others for now. Calm yourself. You're okay. You're just on edge. This whole quest is kind of like a vacation. A scary, death-filled vacation. Great...Anyway, I should probably apologize. Later. For now I'll have to figure out a solution for Greyscale. Secondly...oh! Nice. He had spotted an open, warm grassy clearing just up ahead by the side of the road. He remembered that spot. It was a good place to picnic. Aretis marked it by using his earth power to create a little pillar thing that stood out among the grass. With his light element, he fired a laser from his mouth and marked the pillar with a vertical line and a slanted one on top of it. Like a "T" that had the top part broken off. The singed dirt made a bit of a smell, but at least it would be visible both from the air and the ground.

"I'm sure he will be fine. He wouldn't go too far... I think," she said a little unsure. She didn't know the dragon, so it was hard to know what his true intensions are. After all, he wouldn't keep insisting to leave if there wasn't a reason.

"Let's get out of here, staying in the same spot for too long makes me feel weird," Shadow said. Kumara nodded and began walking in the direction of Azscium.

(We could say the whole group is together. SpyroD and Eyebrawler could teleport there and pretend they were there the whole time. As I'm sure all the characters need to be there)

Ivy and Cornelius were perched on a smaller peak of the mountain beside the castle, watching the dotted group of dragons get as they prepared to leave. Ivy squinted at the far off group, barely able to make any of them out. She sighed impatiently.

"My Sage, why are we watching this group of adolescents exactly?" she huffed. So I'm allowed to help you spy on dragons my age, but heaven forbid I talk to them! Ivy was still sore from the previous evening, when a male close to her her age had come over to inquire about the book she was reading. He wished to read it after she was done with it, which led them to have a conversation deeper than Ivy'd had in a long time. Unfortunately it was cut short, as Cornelius returned and glared the male away.

Cornelius's gaze didn't once stray from the group. His eyes were locked on the bright yellow dragoness in particular, Starz. "Because, my fledgling," he murmured. "One of those dragons bumped into me yesterday, and the amount of potential energy that sparked off of her was... powerful. The energy readings on her and her friend are quite a phenomenon. And now that I've seen the whole group... They're destined for something great. They could be just what we're looking for."

Ivy quietly gazed back at the group, the irritation leaving her. Cornelius had said the same thing about her when he asked her to join him. When he had freed her...

"I believe they will find the cure for the Emerald City." Cornelius stated.

It was only moments later that the group had basically imploded on itself with drama, and Ivy couldn't help but smirk and snort a bit. "Ah yes, they'll scare away the mist with how dysfuctional of a group they are! Sorry for questioning you, My Sage!"

Cornelius gave an annoyed sigh, but his confidence didn't waver. "Come, Ivy. We need to keep up with them." he growled, turning and heading up a small path further into the mountain. Ivy simply followed him, trying to suppress her giggles.

Aretis began flying back after scouting out the place they would probably rest for the night. So far, the only thing he came up with was all the dragons would have to walk. That's alright. I expect this to be a tough journey anyway. Though, I'll have to compensate food cause it'll take longer to get places. But I think the supplies for now will get us to Azicium. He thought to himself and nodded as if he'd solved the problem...for now. Anyway, he flew back, seeing the city but he was still quite a distance away from it. I hope those scalebags have at least left the city by now. He grumbled in his mind.

Kumara nodded impatiently, "what are we supposed to do when we get there?" She asked.

"Both I guess," she answered, "we were only told that we have to stop the darkness, not how to do it..."

Barrigath cringed slightly at the thought of the elders. More ungrateful politicians... he thought, letting out a quiet growl. He flapped his wings impatiently, sending small bits of dust and sand awry. "Well good." He said sarcastically.

"I see..." She responded, "sounds like a plan."

Skyward looked over at Barrigath. "Are you a bit sore over the fact that we don't know what exactly to do?" she asked.

Mistrain climbed up a tree near the group of dragons. "If I make an illusion of Aretis, it could make them lose hope and turn back," he whispered to himself.

ooc: I don't know. Mistrain has never met Aretis much less seen him. At least, not to my knowledge.

Aretis was flying back. Ceeador was closer than before. Aretis used his light powers to amplify his photoreceptors to act basically like a telescope and zoom in. If he did this for a prolonged period of time it would hurt his eyes, but he could last a few minutes or so. Plus, it's also like looking through a telescope. You're blind to everything else around you. Anyway, Aretis did his thing and groaned. I don't even see them past the gate. He felt quite frustrated now.

Kumara and Shadow began walking to the gates. They were both excited but nervous at the same time.

OOC: I did not plan to be away this long, my dearest apologies. I've just been greatly sidetracked with many other tasks. Now that I've started my second phase of training, internet access has become very tight again, but again, I will be on as often as I can... granted it may not be the greatest for all... Besides all that, I've read up myself, and I see it not too late to make a come back here.

Derrick had not slept, like he always had the past four years. Finding their new friends still laying about their house, except Kihei who seemed to have awoken without his noticing, "Oh, good morning Kihei," he said quietly and still with some excitement, "You ready to get going?" he noted the "adventure" they had so highly signed up for. In his mind, Derrick knew this would induce many hardships for them all, both physically and even more mentally seeing as the group doesn't really know each other all that well.

George had a light awakening to the soft voice that belonged to Derrick. the room, as it was the night before, was still almost pitch black from the window covers they used to protect Derrick from the light of the sun. He stirred for a second realizing the time he had awoken, "Oh my, I think it hihg time we got moving," he chuckled a little to himself as he began to shift to sit upright on the couch he sometimes called his bed.

Skyward followed the rest of the dragons, her broken wing trailing behind her. But nobody noticed the shadow that pounced on her…

"How will it work?" Kumara asked, "I guess we can try to carry her..."

"Unless there are any volunteers, I suggest Shadow!" She said nudging her paw on said dragon's shoulder.
He growled at her but agreed hesitantly, "fine... Only if no one else wants too..."

The shadow Skyward easily caught up with the others. "I would do it, but I can barely fly myself," she growled. "She doesn't have wings, so just leave her here. She's just a weak little lizard if she can't do something as simple as fly."

Skyward was tied up in the woods, in an area not far from the mountain, struggling to get out. "Help!" she yelled, but her voice was muffled by a string of leaves tied around her mouth.

"Fake?" Kumara questioned, "then who is this?"

"Of course I'm ready buddy" Kihei said "Do you think Kumara likes me?"

"Well, lets go guys" Makil said "They should be near the mountains by now"

Aretis joined up with the group. "Took you guys long enough." He looked at the dragons. "Well, get a move on. I'd like to eat lunch. Also, I've been thinking. I have half a solution for Greyscale." Aretis looked at the ground next to him and stamped his forepaw. The ground shook a little as he broke apart a rough 3 meter square of land that was about a quarter of a meter thick. With a beam of light he worked for a few minutes and singed off as much dirt as he can and also smoothed it out to shave off any unnecessary weight. "If any of you are of the earth or wind element, your help would be beneficial to levitating this piece." Aretis concentrated a little harder and the land he had just shaped and cut from the ground floated a good 20 feet or so in the air. "Huh, alright. Not too bad." The hardest part is making sure it stays parallel to the ground.

"Who's that?" Derrick asked standing up allowing Ki to get up as well.

George nodded, "Well I'm not too sure about that," he smirked, "But if we get on the trail, we shouldn't be top far behind them. Though," he looked to Derrick, "It might be hard to catch up during the day. I'll do my best, but I'm not confident that I could hold such a spell and fly at the same time for berry long."

Derrick quickly snapped to George's comment, "I can take the ground, the tree's should provide enough shade for me to keep moving."
