Xander nods, smiling.
"I love you too." he says weakly.

Serge nods.
"If you could help, that would be great. My chest feels terrible, and I can barely breathe."

Jinx let out a long sigh.
"I don't know. Maybe he was just being sweet. He seems like a nice guy." she says.

Lia smiles "I wish you weren't in so much pain..." she sighs, looking to the ground.

"Anything for you" Jay says with a sweet smile. She wrapped Serge's arm around her and tried to help shift some of his weight onto her.

Jake continues to sit with Sachi.

Xander reaches out with a weak hand to gently lift Lia's chin up.
"It's not your fault." he says, looking at her with his violet eyes. His scars from the fight with Ragin showing slightly from under his neck bandana.

Serge smiles.
"Thanks Jay. I appreciate it." he says.

Sachi yawns softly.
"I think I'm going to get some sleep. It is getting late, hm? Night Jake." she says, kissing Jake on the cheek before walking off down the hall to her room.

Jinx stands with another sigh. She looks at the stars once more.
"Well. I better get going." she says.

Lia hugs Xander gently, looking down at his scars.

"You're welcome" Jay smiles.

"Good night!" Jake calls out. He sits and ponders for a moment, wondering if he should go after Jinx. He decides he should at least try to find her. Jake stands up and walks to the door.

Xander hugs Lia weakly. He notices her looking at the scars on his neck. He moves the bandana to cover them and sighs.
"Sorry, they're ugly." he says.

Serge chuckles softly and continues to limp with the help of Jay.

Jinx hears the sound of a door opening and she takes a sharp intake of breath in surprise.
"Who's there?"

"No, don't worry about that. I don't mind them" Lia smiles.

Jay tries her best to limit Serge's pain.

"Not Jake" Jake laughs.

Xander smiles.
"Thanks Lia."

Serge feels Jay try to take a little extra weight off his feet and he rests his head appreciatively against Jay's shoulder for a few seconds.

Jinx laughs, hiding her smile again as her pale cheeks begin to turn red.
"What are you doing out here? It's late." she laughs.

"For what?" Lia laughs

Jay smiles as she feels Serge's head on her shoulder. "I love you." Jay says softly.

"I came to see what you were up to" Jake says with a bright smile.

Xander smiles.
"For not saying that you hated them. I always thought they were hideous and that everyone would respond badly to them. But you didn't." he says, resting his head on her shoulder.

Serge smiles, lifting his head.
"I love you too. I appreciate you helping me get through this illness too."

Jinx sees Jake smile, and she lowers her thin hand, letting him see her gentle smile. It was a pretty smile with bright white teeth and light pink lips.
"Thanks. I'm just looking at the stars actually, nothing too interesting." she laughs softly, not mentioning to Jake that she was planning on leaving soon.

"Why would I?" Lia chuckles with a smirk.

"I'm happy to do anything for you" Jay smiles.

"Your smile is really pretty" Jake grins. "It's as the stars"

Xander chuckled.
"Because it's as I said. They're ugly." he laughs.

Serge smiles.
"We should start heading back. It's getting late." he says, glancing towards the sky.

Jinx's face immediately goes red, the color prominent against her pale skin. She turns quickly to hide it.
"It's really not that pretty." she says quickly, her back to Jake.

"Naaaah. They're fine" Lia smiles.

"That sounds like a good idea" Jay says, looking up to the sky as well.

"Yes it is!" Jake insists.

Xander grins.
"Okay. If you say so."

Serge nods.
"Let's head back."

Jinx felt the heat of embarrassment burning her cheeks.
"Why do you think it's pretty? I don't understand..."

"I do say so!!" Lia smiles.

"Yeah" Jay says, beginning to turn back.

"Hey dummy! Didn't you hear me? I said they look like the stars!" Jake says, a slight sassy tone could be heard in his voice.

Xander laughs. He continued to feel dizzier by the second.

Serge limps in the direction of the house with Jay's support.

Jinx winced at Jake's tone and words. She didn't respond. She was slightly hurt by his words, she had had a rough childhood before she became a wandering black cat of Karma's.

"You alright?" Lia asks.

Jay and Serge reach the house eventually.

"What's wrong?" Jake asked.

"I'm getting dizzied by the second" Xander sighs.

Serge collapses on the couch, refusing to move again.

"Your words were...harsh. I didn't have the most amazing past before I became a black cat, and your words reminded me of it." Jinx replies quietly.

"Anything I can do to help?" Lia asks, worried about Xander.

Jay curls up next to Serge

"I'm sorry Jinx. I didn't mean to be harsh" Jake frowns

Xander sighs.
"Sadly no. Not unless you can get Daniel back." He says.

Serge wraps his arm gently around Jay, hugging her to him.

Jinx smiles softly again.
"It's okay. It's not your fault, hm?" She says.

"I don't know where to find him" Lia frowned

Jay snuggles up close Serge and looks up at him with a cheerful smile.

Jake nods. "Yeah. So. What's the deal with your scarf?" Jake asks

Xander nodded.
"I don't either."

Serge smiles at Jay, kissing her on the cheek.

Jinx touched the soft red fabric instinctively as Jake mentioned it.
"It was a gift from my mom." She says quietly.

"This sucks" Lia said grumpily

Jay blushes slightly and lets out a small giggle.

"Aww. That's sweet" Jake smiles

Xander laughs weakly and hugs Lia to cheer her up.

Serge laughs and closes his eyes slowly as he drifts off to sleep.

Jinx glances towards Jake, nodding her head. Her cheeks were still a bit red, but she had gained back her serious demeanor.
"Thanks." she said appreciatively.
