OMG!!!!!!! When I went to Best Buy, I found Wii Fit Trainer and Vilager!!!! Not joking! I obviously got them. It looked like no one had ever gotton an amibbo there though. It was only wave 1 though. I would post pictures, but my mom took them away from me because my siblings and I were fighting over them. (Same with my love potion pop fizz)

I saw all if those except Zelda and Luigi. The price labels on the hangers said WIi Fit Trainer and Marth on two. I also saw Yoshis. My brother got Pikachu do I guess my first amiibo is pikachu

So Wal Mart emailed me again, this time saying my preordered Toon Link is being pushed to 2/6, along with Sheik and Bowser.

All I need is villager and wave 1 & 2 is complete for me! Going to hunt him down when I am in Europe for a week.

I don't follow what Amiibos are allegedly discontinued that much, so could someone please put a list up of what Amiibos are currently "discontinued"?

None have been actually discontinued. There are some that are simply extremely rare right now. In that case it's Marth, Villager, Wii Fit Trainer, Pit, and Little Mac. Captain Falcon is a little difficult to find too, but if you look around a little more you'll come across him eventually. Fox is also apparently getting rare but there's still a good amount of stock of him where I live.

Marth has already been confirmed to get reproduced thanks to his use in Codename S.T.E.A.M, so it's not out of the question for other rares to get more figures produced.

We need to pray for a mewtwo amiibo. Club Nitendo is shutting down.

^As a last minute gift all Club Nintendo users get the Mewtwo amiibo earlier than actual sale and have to confirm the order. People not a part of the program or who didn't redeem it have to wait 3 months.

It would be an awesome way to end it.

Or give the Mewtwo amiibo to all members who joined back in 2008 when it launched

That's a good idea, although I forbid my family to ever have any Sonic items in the household after Sonic Boom. What are some of your predictions for wave 5? I think it'll be the final wave since the W1 had 10, W2 had 6, W3 has 11, and W4 has 6. There are 13-14 characters left, I believe, so it sounds like all the remaining ones will be next. If that happens, I'm gonna be broke since I want Duck Hunt, Bowser Jr, Greninja, AND R.O.B, and 3 out of those 4 are likely to be discontinued...

Pre-ordered Lucario off of Amazon in the UK. It should arrive on Saturday. I'm not planning to get more(I have Pit, Samus and Fox) until later amiibos are released.

I've never quite understood, do people collect so many amiibos just for the sake of making a big collection, or is it because they actually really like their in game effect? My only amiibos are Mario, Yoshi, DK, Link, Kirby, and Diddy Kong, and I don't plan on getting all, or close to all of them.

Destiny is rated T for teens.

I really like the idea of training them. They're like my children. And I just want all of them because I'm a massive nerd, but I'll probably only get like 10 since I plan on only getting one a month to stop me from wasting money (4 years would be too much).

I'm trying to collect all of them. While I really like their in-game effects so far, Smash Bros is just my favourite game franchise alongside Sonic, so to have a collection of nearly 50 Smash Bros figurines that are based off of the trophies I love to collect in-game, is something I could only dream of when I was younger. So I'm collecting them for that reason. They have sentimental value to me, not to mention they look amazing grouped together.

Plus, there are some of my favourite characters, like Captain Falcon and Rosalina, who never/rarely get any official merchandise, let alone figures. So this may be a once in a lifetime chance to get figures of some of these guys.

I only plan to collect all of the Smash Bros ones though. After that, I will just pick and choose based on functionality and sentimental value. Out of the Super Mario line, I plan to get Mario, Luigi, Toad, and Rosalina. I may get any other figures in that line that don't crossover with the Smash Bros line too, like Waluigi and Daisy, if they come out, and I may get Wario too because he will have a different outfit.

Wow, that amiibo selection is gigantic! I doubt I'd be able to find wave 3 at my toys r us even on release day, because all they have for amiibo is a side shelf filled with mario.

I don't plan to either. I just want characters I like, main, and like the look of as a figure.

Currently I have Fox, Pit, Mario, Luigi, and Link. I already preordered Lucario and I hope to get Mega Man, Sonic, Meta Knight, and Rosalina at least.
